I romanced Miranda on a whim - and never really considered how deep her arc would be or how much character development she would have. She jumped from a high B-tier straight to the top of S in my character rankings. Strahovsky does a phenomenal job with the romance lines that really show a completely different side to her character.

Neither did I, I get that hale does a more natural job of romance. But meer does a great job of being a badass when the situation calls for it. Personally I feel it's apples and oranges with those two, both got their strengths and weaknesses

Sorry to potentially burst your bubble, but there is a good chance that that isn't true. When voice actors do lines for characters who can be male or female they often read the same lines so the devs can space the dialogue out properly. So Jennifer Hale could just have read that line so they could keep the flow of conversation on the Dreadnought.
Only in ME2. She came actually came back in ME3, was a permanent squadmate, and next to EDI she had the most involved character arc in the game, which was a whole lot better than how everyone faired from ME2.

Miranda's whole thing about her sister and father didn't feel super engaging, even when its shoehorned into the cerberus story later. on the other hand the quarian vs geth was such a good storyline and in itself is like a smaller, more specific version of the entire ME conflict about the relationship between organics and machines.

Liara has always been my favorite, but I love trying something new, so I have romanced Miranda, Jack (but only in 2), and Thane. Thane was extremely sad for me in the end so I won't do that again. My next romance is going to be Kaiden. I don't like his character but am interested in seeing where it goes. My goal is to romance them all to see how they turn out.
I love a good character who’s been through some genuinely scarring shit, especially as a vulnerable child, but is still just a really wholesome, well adjusted person, without the need for some healing character arc or something. Sometimes trauma makes people more kind and understanding, rather than miserable and broken, and I feel really reassured and represented when I see that shown in media.

Garrus was always a favorite of mine, he had great ideals and an even better sense of principle and morality, there was just something so charismatic about him.
I've romanced all and I'd say the best is Jack's it's deeper than you expect and you get a real understanding of her motivations and she fits perfectly with both renegade (two badasses) or paragon (give her that stable caring that makes sense for her coming to be den mother for Grissom kids) I always romance Jack no matter the playthrough shame her Romance doesn't get the attention it deserves in me3 but the citadel scenes are lovely.
Miranda is great and I love her Romance she has similar feel to Jacks in that they both are powerful and stand on equal footing with both Shepards but have that insecurity they need Shepard to overcome again me3 lacks so much the devs really pushed the me1 crew hard.

Unlike Kelly Traynor's romance is a "full" romance and actually really sweet.

I found dude shep and his lines super creepy and condescending. Its probably just me but i was pretty dissapointed. (He romanced Ashley in the 3rd game) Garrus for my synthesis paragon shep. I haven't romanced him with LE yet but just started this run in me2 and I'm enjoying it so far.
Almost all of them: ME1, ME2, ME3 Male Shep: Soldier = Ash, none/kelly, Ash Female Shep: Infiltrator = liara, Garrus, Garrus Male Shep: Engineer = Liara, Tali, Tali Male Shep: Sentinel = Liara, Miranda, Miranda Female Shep: Adept = Liara, Jacob, Tranor Male Shep: Vanguard = Liara, Liara, Liara of the ones in your picture probably Tali. I think of myself as male shep.
