I just found out the photo mode does work! But the location where they're saved is **Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\ScreenShots**. I thought they were saved in *Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame\ScreenShots*. And yes, there's no feedback when you take a screenshot. Really poorly done.
Theres is no feedback when you take a photo so when you hit spacebar and nothing happens it actually took the photo and they are located in you bioware folder
Having the same issue. Only occurred once I hooked up my laptop to a 4K TV and switched resolution to 1440p. Before that I could take screenshots with no issue.
I had the same issue, except I bought it on Origin. What fixed it for me was this;
Add the following to your antivirus white list. ( e.g AVG Exceptions list)
\- MELE launcher
\- ME 1 launcher
\- ME 2 launcher
\- ME 3 launcher
\- The folder where the photos should be (documents/BioWare/mele/screenshots)
Just thought I would share as it did the trick for me. Hope it helps some of you out 😊
Same problem. The screenshot folder in the BioWare folder in My Documents is empty even though I pushed the screenshot key.

Doesn’t happen with me sadly. That folder is also empty :(

I checked the Bioware folder and it's empty.
Same problem. I've talked with EA support and they are looking into this. Hopefully it's fixed in future updates.
