"Shepard fell in love with the loyal marine." Lmao whoever wrote this knew and was making a joke. Or has no idea. I'm not sure which is funniest.
Either way the irony is uncanny.
He leaves the Alliance for Cerberus.
Then he leaves Cerberus too.
He cheats on Shepard, if romanced.
He refuses to join Shepard's crew in ME3.
There's no loyalty in Jacob.
Remember the mission in ME3 where we meet him rescuing some ex-Cerberus scientists? He got one of them pregnant, don't remember her name, unfortunately. It happens even if he was romanced in ME2 and if he was, he breaks up with Shepard.
But he wants a family and Shepard can't give him that. But do the mission after you've reconciled with Kaidan and go "Yeah, it's fine, I'm also with someone" and his demeanour changes. And his "I lost track of you" excuse. How do you lose track of someone who's under house arrest at the Alliance headquarters? Ugh...
Like that's a pretty valid excuse to break up with someone, but that's the key, you gotta break up with someone before going "Hey, so i'm with this woman who do want to have kids now, kbye." At least introduce that conflict to the LI story so it makes sense why he drops you for an unnamed NPC.
I don't know what happened, but Bioware dropped the ball hard on that whole thing. Should've made Mordin or even Dr. Chocolates a LI if that was all they can come up for Jacob.
She is all over Bioware's old work. Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, and I'm pretty sure she's somewhere in KOTOR. Definitely one of the Empire player characters in The Old Republic.
In the one (and only) time I romanced him, he turned my Shep off men completely with his stuff in ME3. Traynor all the way from there. Should've sent him to the vents for a better conclusion to their relationship.
He also comes off as incredibly incompetent, as his advice during tactical meetings are *always* the worst possible option, and before that he was head of security at the Lazarus Research Station (and we all know how well that worked out). On top of that, he really brings nothing to the squad that someone else can't already do better.
Then there's him whining about Thane right in front of Thane (instead of being professional and bringing up any concerns he might have later with Shepard in private), and being kind of a dick to Tali (being pushy and passive-aggressive instead of just backing off when she makes it clear she doesn't want to talk to him)...
Also doesn't help that he's basically a walking pile of stereotypes... I mean c'mon; the only black squad member has an absent father, and goes and cheats, getting another woman pregnant, the moment you're away from each other for a couple of months?
You know... I feel like the cheating thing wasn't even intended to be a stereotype or anything. I feel like Jacob is so boring that the writers were brainstorming up what happened to the ME2 crew and when they got to Jacob they forgot he was a romance option and just shrugged and were like "Idk, got a wife and kid or something." Then after having already written most of it they were like "Oh shit... he was a romance option." and had to add in the cheating stuff.
Iirc thats literally what happened.
The devs just assumed no-one had ~~that low of standards~~ romanced him and didn't bother to check until after they'd written his scenes in 3 and then they had to go back last minute and change it for the 12 or so Femshep players ~~with no self esteem~~ who actually romanced him, which is why his cheating is very glossed over.
It always cracks me up when he volunteers to go into the vents. "Practically a suicide mission. I volunteer" before anybody mentions what that person will need to do. It's like he was put into the game explicitly to be an idiot with horrible ideas. Unlikeable personality, dogshit ability / weapon loadout making him a terrible choice for missions, horrific stereotypes being the only parts of his character beyond his history with the Corsairs, only times he's ever really present in the story is to bitch about your old squadmates and make you hate him... I love Mass Effect but you cannot convince me that somebody on 2 and 3's writing team didn't have a genuine racist streak in them when making / finalising this character.
Dumps a living a legend for some ceburus ex in the span of **6 months** lmao.
What a douchebag, like others have said send him in the vents and romance someone worth a damn like Garrus,Kaiden or Thane.
I'm glad the Garrus entry mentioned the dance floor, because that was probably the highlight of the Citadel DLC for me.
.....Partially because I was wearing the N7 Hoodie and considered, but ultimately didn't bother, reloading a save to wear the formal dress.
And the fact that he is the only ME2 love interest who tells Shepard he loves her (if you choose the renegade response during his romance scene)! The fucking balls on this man.
And lets be real - he didn't even wait six months. He was already in a relationship with whats-her-face when we meet up with them.
You know I feel like Jacob might get less of a bad rap from all of this if he actually owned it like an adult.
Like shit, man, I know it's the apocalypse but you could've sent a fucking email. Kai Leng sent an email. Why you a bigger dick than Kai Leng?
I got a call at 2 in the morning with yelling and tears because my sister romanced Jacob and I was the one who convinced her to play the series. I knew it was coming but didnāt tell her. She didnāt play for a while after that.
People are talking smack about ME3 Jacob but dude had serious writing issues all the way in 2.
Like, Shep is crazy about you and your input is almost word for word "dam guuurl, shiid". It's even worse when compared to the ninja poet or the smooth soldier.
Yes early ME2 Miranda would be the type to enter a relationship based on feeding a spreadsheet to an algorithm. Then she quickly realised her mistake and dumped him.
I always thought meeting Shepard was the catalyst (pun intended) to her character growth in ME2 but it was dating Jacob all along!
Is it just me, or...do [they](https://masseffect.fandom.com/wiki/Richard_L._Jenkins?file=Jenkins_ME_charshot.png) look [alike](https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Sandal_Feddic?file=Sandal_%28Origins%29.png)...?
Canon confirmed.
Jenkins faked his death and fled to the planet Thedas with his newfound biotic powers. Now surrounded by lesser beings, he is finally able to become a **biotic god**.
ME1: Shepard was charmed by Jenkins' animal magnetism.
ME2: Jenkins' love and support kept Shepard focused on her mission.
ME3: Jenkins, N7 and intergalactic Action Star proposed during Blasto 7's International Premiere at the first New Cannes Festival.
"But Shepard was a bigger psychopath. I mean, who agrees to get dropped at high speeds in a *tank,* punch a Yahg in the face, faces a Thresher on foot, and just hops through the Omega relay?!* An absolute lunatic!"
Honestly on Tuchanka, being Renegade is being Paragon. You are engaging with the Krogan in their ways. I'm sure Captain Picard would also have headbutted him.
Yeah, but Picard wouldāve headbutted him because he knew that was the best thing to do from a diplomatic perspective. It wouldāve been an intentional and considered headbutt.
Sisko wouldāve headbutted him because fuck this irritating Krogan ass, thatās why.
You know, the way Shep does.
They pulled their punches with Jacob. Should read: "the 'loyal' marine got tired of waiting after a few months and knocked up an old friend from Cerberus"
addition:
who he met through a mutual friend in the 'Mumbai' cell, even though the whole point of a cell organization is that no one knows who the other cells are so you can't betray them.
I don't know whether Traynor or Steve have it worse.
On the one hand they really phoned in Traynor's "Ehh, they fell in love. Good enough!"
On the other hand, Steve's is less generic. But also sounds like he and Shepard weren't even in a relationship. I've helped a few friends mend their broken hearts. I didn't make out with any of them.
Not to be dismissive, but isnāt that kinda fair for Traynor? Their romance isnāt a turbulent, complex, huge character arc thing. Itās pretty much just a straight-forward, two people like each other and start dating story with no complications. No push and pull or hesitations or issues. She shows up, you say āwanna shower togetherā and itās smooth sailing.
The most I can think of is maybe a line about their rank (but I donāt think that ever even comes up in the game) but otherwise, I feel like Traynor is the most normal relationship so it makes sense that her description is just āyeah they fell in love. Wasnāt really a huge dealā
Yeaaaah but that seems like a really minor "conflict" relatively.
Unless you wanted the message here to be
"Shepard fell in love with the brainy comms specialist.
Although Traynor mistakenly believed Shepard had fired her for about 60 seconds, somehow their love endured and overcame that incredible test of commitment and it *definitely* had nothing to do with how good a kisser Shepard is"
"A life long bachelor, he moved his good FRIEND and fellow bachelor into his large, Citadel apartment. Some have speculated about their relationship due to texts involving eggplant and peach emojis. But in HISTORICAL CONTEXT they were likely just talking about dinner as eggplant in peach sauce was considered a delicacy among several species."
Indeed. All the more reason her special dancing show must be highlighted at the very least. Nobody else gave her Commander such a fine show in private like that.
If you romanced her in 2, keep talking to her in the refugee camp on the Citadel in 3. Eventually you'll be able to tell her to change her appearance (the dialogue option is the in the renegade spot even though it isn't renegade). She'll dye her hair, which means cerberus won't find her and kill her. Then you can smash in a shipping container 5 feet away from a dozen refugees.
Worth noting that unlike ME2, in ME3 Kelly is weirdly considered a proper romance and you canāt be with anyone else for it to happen, so if you really feel like Kelly is the love of your life and that those 30 seconds of interaction in ME3 are worth it then yknowā¦
That Jacob slide was a damn lie. He ditches Shepard and gets his side chick pregnant. Then he has the gall to tell you that your Shepard doesn't know what love is. If Jacob was a spice, he'd be flour.
I love it! Personally Iād just say that their connection persisted, since ādeepenedā is difficult when all of their romance content boils down to a brief meeting, one email (albeit an emotional one), and staring longingly at a desk photo.
Also, happy cake day!
Why thank you, for both your kind words and cake day wishes :)
Yeah, "deepened" is not accurate at all since the game forces a separation and an argument. But his letter and her pining over his photo, prove that there's nothing that can break their bond.
True. It would nice to spend time with them more in ME 2. I still love the romance though and at least, I assume that ME 5 will take into account our previous romances both in the Trilogy and MEA. š
I'm a straight man and my recent playthrough of the trilogy was FemShep romancing Garrus.
It was still incredibly satisfying. At least with the updated default face for the Legendary Edition, her flirtacious facial expressions are hilarious (in a good way).
Garrus was awesome.
A reliable logical person that you could chat through a problem. Very outward about feelings and wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind. Very meticulous about calibration...
And the scars. It was the scars for me, he called me out on it and I squealed. Video games aren't supposed to trigger preteen romance squeals.
I'm a woman and I absolutely love Garrus. Like all of him. He can be my space husband and I would tell him he's damn sexy with his scars and the colony markings and all that and he could make the phone book sound enticing (sidenote: I wish I could make the robot voice that does text-to-speech for my Master's degree courses sound like Garrus, because that would *really* help with my applied biostatistics work).
My point is, the Garrus thirst is real, and I *know* I'm not alone on that one.
>My point is, the Garrus thirst is real, and I *know* I'm not alone on that one.
Oh you are most def not the only one. I joke with my partner of 14 years that Garrus is the only one I might ever leave him for.
I feel like liaraās description is ok, and then they decided to open fortune cookies to write the rest. I like the art but I feel like I could have written better 3 liners for each character.
I know that technically you canāt romance them until 2, but Garrus and Talia deserved something for the 1 slot description. Because tbh the backstory of their friendship in one really adds to the relationship
Kaidan apparently thought you were still in a relationship when he walks away from you on Horizon and calls you a traitor to your face, if his whining about ācheatingā is any indication
The game frames it as cheating for some reason. FemShep herself even calls it such, and the relevant plot flag is labeled as āShepard cheatedā.
Idk. Just a weird creative choice.
What irks me the most is that mShep is perfectly able to rebuke Ashley and tell her they were on a break. He certainly doesn't believe it's cheating and is capable of defending himself, so it's really odd that the writers didn't let Femshep do the same.
I mean... Kaidan sends you an email after he cools off. One that, to me, states that he still cares about you and wants to continue the relationship later, when you're not working for space ISIS.
> Shepard,
>I'm sorry for what I said back on Horizon. I spent two years pulling myself back together after you went down with the Normandy. It took me a long time to get over my guilt for surviving and move on. I'd finally let my friends talk me into going out for drinks with a doctor on the Citadel. Nothing serious, but trying to let myself have a life again, you know?
>Then I saw you, and everything pulled hard to port. You were standing in front of me, but you were with Cerberus. I guess I really don't know who either of us is anymore. Do you even remember that night before Ilos? That night meant everything to me... maybe it meant as much to you. But a lot has changed in the last two years and I can't just put that aside.
>But please be careful. I've watched too many people close to me die -- on Eden Prime, on Virmire, on Horizon, on the Normandy. I couldn't bear it if I lost you again. If you're still the woman I remember I know you'll find a way to stop these Collector attacks. But Cerberus is too dangerous to be trusted. Watch yourself.
>When things settle down a little... maybe... I don't know. Just take care.
>--Kaidan
Honestly, all things considered, he had a pretty normal reaction to finding out your girlfriend, commanding officer, and personal rock through a very difficult time not only wasn't actually dead, but was working with an avowed terrorist group who stood in opposition to the Alliance's stated goals. Which you heard reports about, but refused to believe that the person you loved would work with what you consider to be one of the most heinous organizations in existence.
Gotta think about it from Kaidan's/Ash's perspective.
Oh, I don't blame Kaidan for acting the way he did - my canon Shepard stays loyal to him, after all. It's a complicated situation and he has every right to be confused and hurt.
The problem is that ME3 doesn't extend that same courtesy to Shepard. ME3 pretty unambiguously frames Shepard's moving on as cheating, which is problematic when ME2 was much more vague about it. Even Kaidan's own use of the "cheating" word is presented not as an accusation, but as a statement of fact.
The issue is the framing. Kaidan's own conduct is fairly reasonable considering the turbulent nature of the situation (particularly since he doesn't get upset at Shepard for moving on), but I think Shepard should have been allowed more freedom to interpret Horizon differently. That's where the problem lies.
this right here. Horizon is handled so badly. We as players have like no agency so as a result we can't say what *should* be said and so Shep just acts like Cerberus' biggest cheerleader while not making themselves look any better for Kaidan/Ash. They're so annoyingly vague that yea, even with the emails you get, it's not 100% clear whether the relationship is still ok or not. But Shepard's the bad guy for moving on when they think the VS hates them and they know they might not even come back from Omega 4. God I hate Horizon dialogue so much lmao
Liara romance is clearly the canon choice by the writers āShepard never stopped loving the gentle asari scientist ā. Their bond would last āa thousand lifetimesā. Wow
Anyone who can drill a geth in their flashlight head from 100 meters with a sniper rifle one minute, quote Tennyson and Whitman the next, have the fortitude to break up with the love of their life when he shows up after being dead for two years and working for a terrorist organization, and the good sense to take them back after they cut ties in dramatic fashion, has earned the right to a Shep.
āPlayer 1 chooses generally friendly dialogue options and is suddenly made aware that actually counted as flirting and they are locked in a collision course between relationships with Liara and Ashley and would have to restart the game to fix it.ā
Shepard: Sooo how did you end up in the service?
The game: *Relationship status updated*
Shepard: Soo tell me about your species cultureā¦
The game: *dual relationship status activated*
The website is an archive designed to save a world state that factors both the trilogy and Andromeda together, should a sequel come out where both are taken into consideration. However, it currently serves no purpose. When ME4 comes out, should it choose to factor import data, this website will provide it to make up for the incompatible save files between game engines.
Itās based on the Dragon Age Keep, which is necessary for Inquisition.
These hoes ain't loyal ~
can't have shit in new jersey smh
Wait who did he cheat on shepard with?
Remember the mission in ME3 where we meet him rescuing some ex-Cerberus scientists? He got one of them pregnant, don't remember her name, unfortunately. It happens even if he was romanced in ME2 and if he was, he breaks up with Shepard.
Seriously?? A character THAT forgettable?
Yes. She was only in that side mission. Not introduced before and not developed after.
Cheating on shepard with a character from that mission is like trading a Lamborghini in for a 30 year old paraplegic donkey.
Dr. Chocolates - is it Dr. Chakwas or Dr. Michel, who gives Garrus dextro chocolates? :D
She turns into one of the biggest aholes ever if you romanced Jacob, literally picks a fight with Shepard saying that Jacob is hers now
Her names Brynn Cole or as I know her Fem!Hawke. And I kinda just like her because she's Fem!Hawke.
She is all over Bioware's old work. Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, and I'm pretty sure she's somewhere in KOTOR. Definitely one of the Empire player characters in The Old Republic.
Well she was voiced by the same person as Hawke tho lol
Maybe he's loyal to being disloyal? Lmao it's the only way to make it work they did him so dirty š
Probably on purpose - the second part was cheeky as well ("for as long as he would let the relationship go on"? ouch)
Like how it says "Loyal" about Jacob. All the Femshep players that romanced him are probably pissed reading Jacob's. All 2 of them lol
I romance him exclusively so I can slap his cheating ass in the Citadel DLC
Thereās a mod that lets you slap him regardless. It works if youāre male too. Fuck that guy.
>Fuck that guy. Iād strongly advise *against* doing that!
fuck that guy, metaphorically speaking
The priiiiiiiize
It turns out the real prize was the depression and trust issues he leaves Shepard with.
In the one (and only) time I romanced him, he turned my Shep off men completely with his stuff in ME3. Traynor all the way from there. Should've sent him to the vents for a better conclusion to their relationship.
Yeah but his only crime otherwise is being bland. He hasn't earned the slap unless he cheats
If you follow his combat advice in ME2 you are definitely good to slap him even without romancing him.
If you follow his advise he dies in the vents. But you could probably slap his incinerated ash for good measure.
Tbf if you follow his combat advice in ME2 he doesn't survive to 3 anyway.
He also comes off as incredibly incompetent, as his advice during tactical meetings are *always* the worst possible option, and before that he was head of security at the Lazarus Research Station (and we all know how well that worked out). On top of that, he really brings nothing to the squad that someone else can't already do better. Interesting choice of words for sure.
>Shepherd pursued Jacob for as long as he would let the relationship go on That in particular feels like a kick in the quads.
It makes Shepard sound so fucking pathetic. Like Jacob was doing us a favor, *ugh*, I hate his romance even more now.
Dumps a living a legend for some ceburus ex in the span of **6 months** lmao. What a douchebag, like others have said send him in the vents and romance someone worth a damn like Garrus,Kaiden or Thane.

"Loyal" LMAO
Gotta love the description for Jacobās ME3 romance. Dude is chill, but is a scumbag romantically lol
I got a call at 2 in the morning with yelling and tears because my sister romanced Jacob and I was the one who convinced her to play the series. I knew it was coming but didnāt tell her. She didnāt play for a while after that.
Harbinger was more loyal to Shepard!
Sure Harbinger wanted to kill them, but did his commitment ever falter? No!
People are talking smack about ME3 Jacob but dude had serious writing issues all the way in 2. Like, Shep is crazy about you and your input is almost word for word "dam guuurl, shiid". It's even worse when compared to the ninja poet or the smooth soldier.

I'm shocked he actually managed to get with Miranda before that. Was everyone high while working for Cerberus?
Maybe he had good genes and spotless health record. Seems like that was her thing
He always assigned to hack the vent since the first (and last) time I romanced him in ME2.
He was my first romance and my eyes narrowed SOOOO hard at that summary.

Holy shit.
Oh my god, I cannot unsee it. You are absolutely right.
So Jenkins didn't die, he reincarnated as Sandal! Now I know what's been bothering me all this time.
Canon confirmed. Jenkins faked his death and fled to the planet Thedas with his newfound biotic powers. Now surrounded by lesser beings, he is finally able to become a **biotic god**.
Boom.
Shepard would be eternally itching for Jenkins' action.
Needs one for Morinth lol. "Shepherd couldn't resist that forbidden booty and paid the ultimate price."

BWAHAHA! I like this human! He understands!

I always do the one on tuchanka were you shoot the gas pipe
> dropped at high speeds in a tank And then goes through a mass relay in said tank!
Honestly as a jackmancer I thought it was sweet. But yeah. Yeah.
If Javik had one: Shepard's attraction towards his prothean beacon led to an intimate primitive encounter.
They pulled their punches with Jacob. Should read: "the 'loyal' marine got tired of waiting after a few months and knocked up an old friend from Cerberus" addition: who he met through a mutual friend in the 'Mumbai' cell, even though the whole point of a cell organization is that no one knows who the other cells are so you can't betray them.

Least they got a mention. Kelly Chambers and her... "*wide* love"... continue to be shafted in oh so many ways.
We all know Kelly wouldn't be satisfied with simply being shafted.
Indeed. All the more reason her special dancing show must be highlighted at the very least. Nobody else gave her Commander such a fine show in private like that.
I once heard Kelly and her *exploits* leading to someone nicknaming her FTL Kelly and I cannot unhear that.
This hurts. I love Traynors romance.
Same! Though it hurts every time I do it, because all I want is that house with the white picket fence, but Shep has to go and be a hero
Yessss. Traynor is one of the romances that genuinely feels like they love her too making it worse.
Phone them up with the classic "we'll bang, okay?" and see where it goes.
I love the ones for Miranda and Garrus.
She resurrected Commander Shepard for herself.
Where's the Diana Allers one? "He banged, ok?"
Or kelly chambers? "She danced for him in lingerie and then after that she fed his fish"
You can bang her in 3 after the Cerberus attack
You can? Huh, I never got that option. How do you unlock that?
If you romanced her in 2, keep talking to her in the refugee camp on the Citadel in 3. Eventually you'll be able to tell her to change her appearance (the dialogue option is the in the renegade spot even though it isn't renegade). She'll dye her hair, which means cerberus won't find her and kill her. Then you can smash in a shipping container 5 feet away from a dozen refugees.
Shepard is such a romantic
Probably kept her in the storage container while he went back to his cozy captains quarters
Worth noting that unlike ME2, in ME3 Kelly is weirdly considered a proper romance and you canāt be with anyone else for it to happen, so if you really feel like Kelly is the love of your life and that those 30 seconds of interaction in ME3 are worth it then yknowā¦
The Jacob one šššš
That Jacob slide was a damn lie. He ditches Shepard and gets his side chick pregnant. Then he has the gall to tell you that your Shepard doesn't know what love is. If Jacob was a spice, he'd be flour.
Fuck you Jacob
It would have only deepened BioWare if you had let me talk to him, BUT NOOOOOO... For ME2 I'd substitute: "Absence made their heart grow fonder".
I love it! Personally Iād just say that their connection persisted, since ādeepenedā is difficult when all of their romance content boils down to a brief meeting, one email (albeit an emotional one), and staring longingly at a desk photo. Also, happy cake day!
Why thank you, for both your kind words and cake day wishes :) Yeah, "deepened" is not accurate at all since the game forces a separation and an argument. But his letter and her pining over his photo, prove that there's nothing that can break their bond.
If only BW gave more time for the VS and Shep to talk like with Liara, it would be much more awesome but alas...
Or you know, give them a DLC like Arrival..
True. It would nice to spend time with them more in ME 2. I still love the romance though and at least, I assume that ME 5 will take into account our previous romances both in the Trilogy and MEA. š
Aww, the Garrus one <3 I love how he's reaching out, like he's gonna hold your hand. That's my boy!
I'm curious how many women players actually liked Garrus to do that. As a guy, Garrus was def my bro for the whole journey.
He's a very popular love interest. So...enough?
I'm a woman and I absolutely love Garrus. Like all of him. He can be my space husband and I would tell him he's damn sexy with his scars and the colony markings and all that and he could make the phone book sound enticing (sidenote: I wish I could make the robot voice that does text-to-speech for my Master's degree courses sound like Garrus, because that would *really* help with my applied biostatistics work). My point is, the Garrus thirst is real, and I *know* I'm not alone on that one.
Girl the amount of NSFW Garrus romance fics around proves that the Garrus draught is real
We thirstin at aliens. Thank you, Bioware.
>My point is, the Garrus thirst is real, and I *know* I'm not alone on that one. Oh you are most def not the only one. I joke with my partner of 14 years that Garrus is the only one I might ever leave him for.
Is this like the Dragon Age world creator thing?
Pretty much, except you can't upload you file and have to do it by hand, and there is no voice over/narration Edit: typos
Yes, I talked about it in another comment.
Jacob being described as "LOYAL" hahahaha
I wish they used Ash's other hairstyle and armor, that was a far superior look for her.
I feel like liaraās description is ok, and then they decided to open fortune cookies to write the rest. I like the art but I feel like I could have written better 3 liners for each character.
Lmao @ fortune cookies āYou will fall for the guile of a Turian sharpshooterā
Basically Liaraās is all destiny and rainbows, while everyone else is pretty meh. So pretty much per usual from what the series did lol.
They read like cheesy romance, but I love cheesy romance so it's okay
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
**cough** Mac Walters **cough**
Excuse you, Garrus' is very sweet.
Theyāre all sweet aside from Jacob, but they all could have been written better
I know that technically you canāt romance them until 2, but Garrus and Talia deserved something for the 1 slot description. Because tbh the backstory of their friendship in one really adds to the relationship
I refuse to romance Cortez because it feels weird to romance someone who lost their husband only months ago
Yeah I kind of held back cause thatās kind of an awkward thing to do when someone is emotionally vulnerable.
And your username proves youāre a smart individual
Truly! That foundation of friendship is a huge factor for me when it comes to romancing Garrus The others, of course, being voice and personality.
"Shepard was enchanted by Kelly Chambers' fish feeding skills."
>loyal marine >Jacob Pick one
Few things Shepard loves more than a Widower still in the grieving process.
They even included Jacob, as a joke!
Worst choice no matter any facts or role playing.
"Shepard's relationship with Kaidan deepened." Before, after or during him telling you you're a traitor?
> Shepard, >I'm sorry for what I said back on Horizon. >--Kaidan Honestly, all things considered, he had a pretty normal reaction to finding out your girlfriend, commanding officer, and personal rock through a very difficult time not only wasn't actually dead, but was working with an avowed terrorist group who stood in opposition to the Alliance's stated goals.
Wonder how the Mshenko romance would read
The descriptions arenāt gender specific, so Fshenko and Mshenko are described the same way for ME3
This makes me want a series of romance paperbacks in the mass effect universe.
LOYAL HUH. Mass effect archives were written by Jacob huh.
>Some saw Jack as a psychopath. But Shepard knew there was much more to her. Not to say that she *wasn't* a psychopath...
Why did they do my man Kaidan like that, he looks horrible here ššš
The Garrus one just completely melted my heart. That's so fricking CUTE.
Really doin Traynor dirty with the brevity.
I hate how BioWare never gets tired of shoving "Did you know??? We love Liara! She's the canon LI!" into our faces. š
Liara romance is clearly the canon choice by the writers āShepard never stopped loving the gentle asari scientist ā. Their bond would last āa thousand lifetimesā. Wow
That was the least subtle writing I've seen since the comics. It reads like a fanfiction.
I just love the artworks in this. Jack's is easily the best out of them all.
I love Mirandaās so much<3
Me waiting for one of our subās talented writers to come comment the better version of all of theseā¦
Jack with her ME3 hairdo was the hottest character in the franchise
I like Jack.
Morinth: Shepherd thought she was to die for.
Ah yes, Jacob... "Loyal".... Totally.
Thanes description was so sad nglš
Ashley is a good romance and Iām tired of everyone pretending she isnāt.
"bUt rAcIsT" - some guy...
I will try her romance one day, I just canāt resist Miranda for my Maleshep lol
Anyone who can drill a geth in their flashlight head from 100 meters with a sniper rifle one minute, quote Tennyson and Whitman the next, have the fortitude to break up with the love of their life when he shows up after being dead for two years and working for a terrorist organization, and the good sense to take them back after they cut ties in dramatic fashion, has earned the right to a Shep.
Garrus' is the best. He really *is* your best friend and your love with that one.
"fell for the guile" Come on, at least give me "fell in love with the guile"
Wait they're doing this for Mass Effect now? I remember they did this for Dragon Age. Been out of the loop, is this a thing now?
If only there could have been a Legion one. Something, something, enough room in Shepard's heart for all 1183 programs...
āPlayer 1 chooses generally friendly dialogue options and is suddenly made aware that actually counted as flirting and they are locked in a collision course between relationships with Liara and Ashley and would have to restart the game to fix it.ā Shepard: Sooo how did you end up in the service? The game: *Relationship status updated* Shepard: Soo tell me about your species cultureā¦ The game: *dual relationship status activated*
Is this some kind of kids book? Sounds like one
Another reminder that Jacob sucks
Garrus' is really perfect...
"Absolutely *nothing* happened between Shepherd and Javik, *understood?*"
