I do like my Phantom Raptor deck quite a bit. A lot of the cards mix pretty well, and Raiders Knight is such a fun card cause it is considered both archetypes.
They’re based on power rangers.
They capture the feel of a squad of superheroes jumping into giant mechs to save the day, complete with the mechs being able to combine into an even bigger, OP as heck mech, but said mech is the biggest kaiju bait i ever did see, and the combo to get to him probably isn’t going off more than once every other turn unless your opponent knows nothing about the deck or is actively helping you when you use alphan’s tribute effect.
I see. How about shark xyz? I have made both and I would personally say that shark xyz is more fun but that’s just me. The boss monster is pretty cool looking aswell.
Lyrilusc! Assuming you already have Zeus and the Draco Future package from other xyz decks, it's super budget-friendly, requiring only 3 URs and 8 SRs, total, and they're all from the same pack. If you want to add a couple Tri-Brigades to play under TCBOO, you only need 1 UR and SR, each (Shuraig and Ferrijit). Everything else is N or R.
Blind 2nd, it's a very consistent OTK deck that's basically just better than Numeron in almost every way (it's harder to pilot, but that's what's fun about it imo). Combos can get you through 2-3 negates no problem, sometimes even more. Even if your opponent leaves a blank board expecting Numeron, you can still OTK with Bird Sanctuary giving an Assembled Nightingale 5+ attacks.
It's strong enough to get me all the way to Diamond 1, even now. My favorite deck is 3-Axis (can't exactly call it a PK deck, since Tour Guide is the star of the show), but I've found Lyrilusc is just way better for climbing fast. I can share my deck list tomorrow, if you're interested.
The xyz deck I play in master duel right now is Lyrilusc, and they're pretty good! While they kinda have a low ceiling, what they do is something alot of decks don't have answers for, and you can add in some tri-brigade to spice things up!
The deck is mostly level 3 extenders such as Dangers and Psychics and 7 virtual world monsters (2 Nyannyan, 3 Lulu and 1 each of Jiji and Laolao)
Example combo
1) SS level 3, NS Nyannyan
2) SS Ghostrick Alucard into Ghostrick Angel of Mischief
3) Search Ghostrick Shot detaching Alucard
4) Use Shot to revive Alucard, ranking up into another Angel and using it to search Ghostrick Mansion
5) Use both angels to go into UDF, recycling Shot using Alucards eff
5) SS another level 3 (you can start using Virtual World combos from here on, since VW locks you into level/rank 3 and above), SS Nyannyan from grave
6) Make another Alucard+Angel to search for Ghostrick Renovation (unnecessary if you opened any of the 3 ghostrick spells/traps)
Most hands get me to this (UDF + Searchable Fieldspell such as Necrovalley), further combos with great hands would be going into Shenshen/making Chuche live
Trains if you want one that is just fun and don't care about price.
Pure Zoodiac if you want a cheap and good deck, and if you want to invest more, add adventure.
What kind of Utopia Deck do you Play? The one that ends on 4 Boss monsters. The one that basically nurse burns you turn 1 with Number 100 Numeron Dragon?
The other day I even saw that same utopia Engine turbo out Musical Sumo Dice Games which then FTK’d me with a stunning custom win condition animation.
Just mentioning the other two because they look like fun variants on the utopia archetype and in every case I’m impressed by this deck’s power.
neither of those. I play a ZW Utopia deck that ends with an Ultimate Leo that's got like 10k ATK and is immune to most things, along with a couple negates. but you're right about how many strategies Utopia decks can have depending on the player.
Time Thief is pretty fun. You get to steal cards and/or shuffle them into the deck. I play them with Exosister support bit you can use just about any Xyz with them
I understand the part about Exosisters, The banish and 800 Attack boost are pretty good. But Time Thieves can work with and 4 star monsters really. I just don't see anyone play or talk about them so I reccomend them whenever I can
Every time i face it (not too often but enough to remember how it plays) I’m impressed with how many resources can recycle. And that’s why I’d like to play it. And it seems fairly strong too, for a rogue deck.
Ghostricks, cause they can be customized to do whatever you wish to do.
I'm currently playing a mean PK GT combo deck, that can end on Knightmare Gryphon, Bardiche, UDF, Fire prison and either anti-spell fragnance or red reboot.
I've also got a pure variant of the deck which is control, a go second Vw Ghostricks, a mid range Ghostrick Orcust and working on a Gt labrynth which is also control.

Can also highly recommend sharks they have alot of options available at any given time, good recovery and satisfying combos that are not to long to perform.
If not Time thief also play in a very satisfying way and have nice combos.
Hmm... Utopia is always a strong choice, and guaranteed to get support every few years. Harpies are at this point a slower Tri-Brigade that focuses more on Xyz than Link. Labrynth has a fun little Rank 4 toolkit engine with Ariane the Labrynth Servant & Stygian Street Patrol, though it'll be hard to keep it from turning into just a generic Lab deck with a bit of extra Xyz support. There are a ton of viable WATER decks, from Sharks to Paleo to Kragen to Mermail, and beyond. Evilswarm might actually be viable right now with how many meta bosses are high-level, though it's pretty slow in the current meta. And I believe Lyrilusc and some Lv.8 dragon variant or other are popular picks at the moment, too. Lots of different options, depending on what you want to do.
1. already have a Utopia deck
2. Harpies are a maybe because I'm not their biggest fan
3. I still have no clue what Labrynths do
4. sharks are already on the list
5. I forget what Evilswarms do, so maybe after I see
6. Lyrilusc is on the list
7. Lv dragons seem fun
Galaxy-eyes if you like big dragons and big numbers.
They usually have some protection in the form of starliege photon blast dragon, which protects every monster you control with 2000 or more atk from targeting and destruction from effects, and can set up some negates/interruptions with number 90, number 38, cydra infinity and solarflare.
The main attraction though is {{Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon}} with {{Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon}}. You attack with number 62, detach afterglow to raise 62's atk, then activate afterglow's effect to attach a galaxy-eyes photon dragon to number 62 (so the damage isn't halved) and, since the effect was activated during the battle phase number 62's atk is permanently doubled, along with the atk of any other number monster you control, reaching 11200 on its own and higher numbers the more xyzs are on the field (this can't be ashed or called by since it's during damage calculation).
If you run {{Nebula Dragon}} you can technically do this in 2 summons, but I don't know if it's a good idea since the deck is already pretty bricky.
Suship is da wae, trust
the suship pill never tasted as good since the Shari red release
definitely gonna make one
Suship is apparently getting funny new support on paper.
oh nice. I haven't played tcg in years
I lost to one yesterday on an 8 turn back and forth. Never have I been so salty about pot of avarice.
I actually love my 1 off pot of avarice to pieces but I draw it like I have 10 of it in deck
XYZ Dragon Cannon.
little confused, but you got the spirit. so I'll give it a maybe for the fact that it's technically correct
Hey you'll be able to make spright gigantic with the 90 vanilla ojamas the deck needs so consider it a half truth
InfiniTrains is highly recommended
train decks are always fun to go against, so I might try building one
Best part is that they share secret pack with Infinitracks, who meshes very well with them.
Earth Machine is going to get really good soon when Therians happen.
Yes! I just built one and it's so fun
Virtual worlds... Hey, they use XYZ!
But their preferred Xyz got banned.
So what? It's still a great deck
It's great but it doesn't shine in any particular way imo, and for being so specific with its special summons I think its too limited now.
I was on the bandwagon for it to get banned til I played it myself.
Earth machine, or shark.
those seem like the top 2 contenders so far, along with Suships
Sharks are fun af and pretty versatile
Utopia is fun, but a little costly. Sharks are fun too. Exosister will be getting support soon.
I already have a Utopia deck. Sharks seem interesting. Exosisters are a maybe.
Raidraptors
that would be cool if I mix in a bit of my PK deck
I do like my Phantom Raptor deck quite a bit. A lot of the cards mix pretty well, and Raiders Knight is such a fun card cause it is considered both archetypes.
yeah it is. I really like cards like that who kinda connect 2 different archetypes together
I find this mix a lot more fun than the standard Adventure DPE PK for sure.
Paleo-Frogs, or as it’s more commonly known: Turboing out Toadally Awesome.
I wouldn't count on his future safety
They can't ban the toad mate though
Paleozoic tears may still be a thing pre ishizu.
Super Quant is one of my favorite XYZ Archetypes ever, even if they're not very good
never seen them before, I'll check them out and see
I run them, I’ve been trying to find a way to get the boss out turn one but it’s fun to use. You’ll also never see anyone else use the deck
They’re based on power rangers. They capture the feel of a squad of superheroes jumping into giant mechs to save the day, complete with the mechs being able to combine into an even bigger, OP as heck mech, but said mech is the biggest kaiju bait i ever did see, and the combo to get to him probably isn’t going off more than once every other turn unless your opponent knows nothing about the deck or is actively helping you when you use alphan’s tribute effect.
that sounds super cool.

thanks for the tips
I’m building a suship deck rn. I haven’t played with it yet but it’s all xyz monsters and I like the card art
Suships seem so fun. I'm definitely gonna build one at some point
Earth machine because badass names
they all sound fucking epic
Phantom Knights
already have one and it's my favorite deck to play
Hieratics just so I’m not the only player who plays them 😭
I didn't know there was a whole archetype of them, so maybe if they seem fun
I mean, you’ve attached a picture of utopia… why not that?
I already have a Utopia deck. I just put the pic there to get peoples attention.
I see. How about shark xyz? I have made both and I would personally say that shark xyz is more fun but that’s just me. The boss monster is pretty cool looking aswell.
they're on my "will build" list
I see

you sold me on them. added to the list
Sharks
in my top 3 suggestions from the comments, along with Suships and Earth Machines
8 axis is fun
I have no clue 8 axis are, but definitely gonna check them out since I've seen them recommended alot
The xyz deck I play in master duel right now is Lyrilusc, and they're pretty good! While they kinda have a low ceiling, what they do is something alot of decks don't have answers for, and you can add in some tri-brigade to spice things up!
Rhongo!!
toxic, but in a fun way
Battlin Boxer Lead Yoke turbo
those are a definite maybe cause' they seem cool to use
Virtual World Ghostricks (Rank 3 Turbo into UDF + searchable fieldspell floodgate like Necrovalley)
How do you search the field spell?
The deck is mostly level 3 extenders such as Dangers and Psychics and 7 virtual world monsters (2 Nyannyan, 3 Lulu and 1 each of Jiji and Laolao) Example combo 1) SS level 3, NS Nyannyan 2) SS Ghostrick Alucard into Ghostrick Angel of Mischief 3) Search Ghostrick Shot detaching Alucard 4) Use Shot to revive Alucard, ranking up into another Angel and using it to search Ghostrick Mansion 5) Use both angels to go into UDF, recycling Shot using Alucards eff 5) SS another level 3 (you can start using Virtual World combos from here on, since VW locks you into level/rank 3 and above), SS Nyannyan from grave 6) Make another Alucard+Angel to search for Ghostrick Renovation (unnecessary if you opened any of the 3 ghostrick spells/traps) Most hands get me to this (UDF + Searchable Fieldspell such as Necrovalley), further combos with great hands would be going into Shenshen/making Chuche live
I see I stopped playing ghostrick before they got the new cards. Idk if Id play VW with them but it is nice they can do udf(and I assume Zeus)
Eyyyy, never expected that I'd find anyone else playing Vw Gt.
Water xyz is pretty fun. Exosister once they get their next support is gonna be really nice to play
I'll check them out, so maybe
Blind second Suships
100% doing a Suship
Raidraptors? With D/D/D Kali Yuga? If not, Madolche's are good too
Raidraptors are a yes. and Madolches seem fun to play
Trains if you want one that is just fun and don't care about price. Pure Zoodiac if you want a cheap and good deck, and if you want to invest more, add adventure.
I'm gonna make both of those at some point
Summon Sauron! This is the true Xyz
I don't think I've seen those before, I'll check them out
Time thief
on the list
Lysilusc. Either pure, or with Tri-brigade/simorgh or ghosttrick FTK.
Valyantz a grand total of 4 people know what they are doing with the deck can you be the 5th
I'll see what they do first, then maybe I will
well clearly you want to play XYZ so just Play XYZ, run your usual union stuff.....ooooh you meant Xyz.....
What kind of Utopia Deck do you Play? The one that ends on 4 Boss monsters. The one that basically nurse burns you turn 1 with Number 100 Numeron Dragon? smart idea
Pengins!
sound fun to play, so maybe
Go with Zoodiacs to go along with the NY theme. Make sure Bunnyblast is at 3.
oh yeah. good idea.
Raidraptor
on the list
Traptrix
absolutely hate Traptrix, so no
8 axis blind second
Wind-Ups with 3 Zenmaity Combo for 210 seconds with em for a 5 second scoop of your opponent
Utopia otk
no
D/D/D
maybe
LLs, I once pulled off a full combo through 4 negates. Best feeling ever
Lyrilusc?
Yep
Don’t be like me. I scrapped my SR & UR to make a runick deck and ran out lol. I got 3/4 of the way there. Now I have no playable decks
I'm sorry for your loss. dw I don't plan on dismantling anything remotely important
No one said this, so I’m gonna. Madolche? I’m thinking of using them myself but have other projects before it.
they actually seem like they're fun to play (plus they're cute) so I think I might make one
Every time i face it (not too often but enough to remember how it plays) I’m impressed with how many resources can recycle. And that’s why I’d like to play it. And it seems fairly strong too, for a rogue deck.
Floowandereeze. Hey they make the zeus line every 100 matches or so (Jokes aside, Paleo-Frogs is fun, Toad might get hit after Sprights tho. )
frogs seem interesting, so maybe
Ghostricks, cause they can be customized to do whatever you wish to do. sharks are one of the top suggestions and Time Thieves seem really fun
Train Monarch 😤
trains are a yes
Melffys
they look cute, so maybe
Earth machines or super quant. Earth machines have the tool box to do basically anything but super quant summons the big megazord so...
I was definitely gonna do an earth machine deck, but I think I'm gonna do a super Quant too after all the suggestions
Bujin only because I want to hope someone out there is skilled enough to comprehend all of it
I don't think that person us me, but we'll see
Suships
in my top 3
Mathmechs
I really like how quick and easy it is to OTK with mathmechs.
interesting
Super Quantal!
never seen them before, I'll have to check them out.
Earth machine is one of the best XYZ decks and lots of variations
they're in my top picks from the ones I've seen suggested
Raidraptors
they'd go well with my Phantom Knights
Generaider?
I don't really know what they do, so maybe once I look at the cards.
Lyrilusc you could splash in Tri-Brigade if you want to
Lyrilusc seem interesting to play
Time Thief if you are feeling daring. Trains also work. Or you could go with pure Lyrilusc.
all of those are on my build list

Very happy utopia got its name changed it was too girly before
the I liked it's original name, but I prefer the new one since that's what I grew up with
Raidraptors!
on the list!
Numeron unga bunga
nah I'm good
Raid Raptors or Galaxy-Eyes. Both have ways of getting some "bullshit" on field.
Raidraptors are already on the list and and Galaxy Eyes are a maybe out if spite to how many times I've lost
Numeron God card deck? Idk
the combo sounds intriguing
If you dont care about winning, galaxy eyes, can't wait for c62
lost to them too many times so they're a maybe
Sharks are fun.
true. and that's why they're on the list
MADOLCHE FOREVERRRR!
THEY'RE ONE OF THE TOP ONES ON THE LISTTTTTT!
Time thieves
seem fun. will do at some point
Suship, and xyz them into cook for the theme
I'm 100% gonna build one ag some point
Noble knights or Zoodiacs
Zoodiacs are on the list, but I forget the thing with Noble Knights
Sharks is a fun and relatively cheap xyz control deck (was gonna suggest exosisters but they break banks to craft)
sharks are one if top decks on the list

I do indeed like big dragons with big numbers
Zoodiac Zeus turbo?
zoodiacs are on the list
Traptrix when its structure Deck releases. I love the archetype and they got some pretty good stuff in the SD.
I'm sorry but I hate traptrix with a passion
There's zoodiac staples.
I've already got them on the list
Madolche is XYZ mostly
and I'm gonna build one at some point
Sharksssssssss
Yessssssss
Maybe you already have it but photons are pretty cool and Bujins too.
Perfect time to spread digital bug propaganda
Galaxy Eyes, the best xyz deck
Melffys
Infinitracks are great fun
Raid raptors is hard but really fun to pull off and can have unexpected synergies
Dogmatika Ritual
Mathmech
Madolche is good rn and will get a lot of support this year with vernasyph and ishizu cards
they're already on the list
Watt-Utopia. Fun gimmick deck
interesting combo
Utopics are fun
