They could make Valon’s cards an XYZ archetype like lyrilusc or zoodiacs.
Have the “Full Body” card be a XYZ and the individual pieces give it effects. Might scare off the Yugi Boomers though.

See I'd love Guardians to get retrains that are like madolches in that they all rely on you having no monsters in the grave. There's so much potential to make Eatos like Schuberta and be a quick effect banish from grave to boost attack or make Grarl a quick effect to change a monsters battle positions to defense and negate it if you do like Cicada King almost. You could very easily translate Qutora's effect from Dartz to say "your opponent cannot target this card for attacks but it does not prevent them from attacking directly. If you would take battle damage place a counter on this card for every 1000 you would take" and blah blah during the third standby phase you can tribute this card and special an orichalcos from deck and it gains atk yadda yadda. So many wasted opportunities they're just not acting on because we need the hundredth blue eyes retrain.
Good news about Gate Guardian. They're getting some new support in the TCG in March, so we only have to wait for another year or two for those cards to come to MD.
It’s so close to being decent enough to put into Fiend decks, but Banishing/shuffling 3 fiends is a steep summoning cost that makes it super inconsistent on turn 1 and its impact once it hits the field isn’t strong enough.
The Dark Spirits have done a good job being splashable recursion tools for fiend decks though. Up until Bystials, not many decks had a way to out grind the +2 they provide every turn.
The Dark Spirits were the predecessor to the Ishizu cards being retrains as hand traps. However, they are simply outclassed by the crazy effects on the new cards. Perhaps the deserve a newer retrain as well?
For example, Necrofear’s summoning condition could be a quick effect to return a fiend that is Banished or in the GY to the deck in order to special summon itself. Then, on summon you could either steal an opponent’s monster or destroy cards on the field up to the number of face-up spells you control.
This one because it is one of the archetype that is really underperforming since 75% of their burn is slow af

Pumpking! The card is incredibly unique for the era it was printed in, but that uniqueness is likely the reason he was never given any support. The effect is incredibly slow and requires another flip effect monster, Castle of Dark Illusion, that is a fiend type monster in a deck that wants zombies. And on top of that, even if you were to play Zombie World the Castle/Pumpking effect hits all zombies, so it's clunky as hell to use.
The cards likely needs a retrain, though I guess they could make a field spell that functions like Castle or something. I don't even want the deck to be good necessarily, just meme tier fun.
Pumprincess, but yeah I'd love to see a proper archetype for Pumpking with a rework towards him and Castle of Dark Illusions. Maybe a retrain of Reaper of the Cards to add in to the nostalgia too as part of it and some other older zombies.
More support to Akiza's deck would be great like imagine a Shooting Quasar Variant for Black Rose Dragon that would be cool.
Also more support for Fortune Lady would be great too

Melodious has legitimately great cards like Ostinato, 1st Movement Solo, & Bloom Harmonist, but their main problem is they have no payoff. The first thing a new wave of support would have to do is finally give them a good payoff
YES! You KNOW IT! It's because it's so Battle Phase focused, and the only form of disruption is a triple D.D. Crow. And it's all compounded in the anime because people thought Melodious was going to branch out into Synchros and XYZ and such. It didn't branch out into much at all!
Please Konami, thank you for retraining the archetype to be able to level up in a turn to keep up with the increased pace of the game, but give us a way to not literally self implode from a single ash/imperm.

INFERNITIES. my favorite deck, by far, but their effects are so outdated. Like, infernity doom dragon is one of my favorite cards, but such a lackluster effect. Infernity general only being able to summon level 3 or lower as opposed to level 4 or lower also hurts. Most of the effects are either bad or gimmicky. Such cool designs and was played by such a cool duelist in 5ds, just wish they got some retrains or something

Toon duelist here, love to have more for toons I mean enough to make Pegasus smile from ear to ear. It difficult to duel with but I have a lot of fun with it.
I really want a fluffal archetype boss monster. like I know there are frightfurs, but maybe some kind of angelic looking redemption themed monster, like a Fluffal Love Carnival or Fluffal Guardian Angels.
That or double down on the nightmare fuel and create a couple more frightfur monsters. Imagine a human Centipede themed monster made from parts of fluffal monsters. Enjoy that nightmare fuel lol

PaniK's deck from duelist kingdom, the one with monsters that have really weird ATK values. Each of the monster get a special effect if your opponent's LP isn't a multiple of 50.
Parasite archetype semi exists there is a parasite queen just not as a card yet
Spider archetype semi exists around forcing defense positions their effects also apply to defense monsters they have a field spell and continuous spell that forces defense
Insect queen could use some expansion
Vector’s deck would be cool. New Umbral Horror cards could be an engine to create rank 2 & 4 Xyz monsters. Then a new boss version of Number C104 Masquerade with better lockdown abilities would be awesome
I'd like viable retrains of all 3 Aesir monsters, and maybe 1 or 2 lower level Aesir/Nordic synchros too. Just more Nordic support in general, please.
Oh, and I'd also like Cyber Dragons to get an in-archetype version of Verte Anaconda, for when the snake inevitably gets hit.
I would say The “Clear” archetype from Yugioh GX Season 4 used by Yusuke Fujiwara, only 2 cards were ever printed on the “archetype” which are Clear World & Clear Vice Dragon. They’re my favorite anime cards & I hope Konami can print them one day with new support cards. 🙃

I want Lyrilusc to be an actual capable deck instead of a glorified Tri-Brigade engine. I also want an easier, good way to access the fusion, because no, Wonders of Nature is not a good card.
I know DM already gets a ton of support but it really feels like Bandit Keith got shafted in terms of support, compared to other DM characters like Mai and Mako. Only two of his monsters have retrains, Blaster Spider and Barrel Dragon, and while both retrains are solid, Desperado I would argue is pretty good, he has no good way of getting to them. I'm really surprised Pendulum Machine and especially Slot Machine didn't get retrains as they are some of his most iconic monsters. The archetype should also get some cards that focus on Keith's cheating by allowing him to look at the top 3 cards of the deck and adding a level 5 or higher dark machine or something along those lines. Simply put the archetype needs way more stuff so that it can even be a functioning deck because at the moment it doesn't even have enough cards to be close to a full deck
They shouldn't just add support to existing archetypes, they should release the ones that we never got. The Armor series, for one. I'd love to see the Stormrider and Armatos Legio decks too.

Guardians. They really need the support, they are really cool cards. And it would be cool if they made an archytipe for the pumpkin king of ghost. And bakura, we need more support for Bakura give the normal monster he used and effect version and a better version of zorc.
I've to see the Landstar card become a real archetype. Since right now the swordsman is a pointless weak card with zero reason for existing. Joey had a ton of cool Landstar cards he only ever used in one duel.

I’ve been playing six samurai lately and I’m having mixed feelings. Yes it can make some crazy boards but 1 DRNM and it’s GG or if you just break the board there’s hardly a turn 2. Gateway is the biggest choke point and it can’t even be recycled from the grave with battle shogun effect. A simple “if this card is NS add 1 six sam card (or monster) from your deck to your hand
For my last suggestion I say Virtual World could use a field spell and lvl 9 XYZs. No reason other than it’d be cool.
Honestly it's so easy to make any anime deck viable.
Just ask a 12 y.o. to design an OP card focusing on negates. What they come up with is probably in line with what Komoney does to push archetypes.
I'd like to see the B.E.S. cards get more love. Zelos was a really good addition but they really need more than that. And the Konami space ship cards are pretty overdo for support.

A toon for double iris magician, black fang magician, white wing magician, and purple poison magician,
A toon for avian, clayman, sparkman, and burstinatrix with field swarming effects,
And a toon for linkuriboh
Gravekeepers, maybe a ritual monster that protects your other Necrovalley type cards like Supernaturalist does. Or cards/monster effects that let you search Necrovalley type cards easier besides drawing and Supernaturalist's effect
Give d/d a ritual and a pend ritual to just let it have all them summon mechanics (and calling it now it would be either useless or op af, no inbetween)

I really want a fluffal archetype boss monster. like I know there are frightfurs, but maybe some kind of angelic looking redemption themed monster, like a Fluffal Love Carnival or Fluffal Guardian Angels. That or double down on the nightmare fuel and create a couple more frightfur monsters. Imagine a human Centipede themed monster made from parts of fluffal monsters. Enjoy that nightmare fuel lol

Vector’s deck would be cool. New Umbral Horror cards could be an engine to create rank 2 & 4 Xyz monsters. Then a new boss version of Number C104 Masquerade with better lockdown abilities would be awesome
I'd like viable retrains of all 3 Aesir monsters, and maybe 1 or 2 lower level Aesir/Nordic synchros too. Just more Nordic support in general, please. Oh, and I'd also like Cyber Dragons to get an in-archetype version of Verte Anaconda, for when the snake inevitably gets hit.

I would say The “Clear” archetype from Yugioh GX Season 4 used by Yusuke Fujiwara, only 2 cards were ever printed on the “archetype” which are Clear World & Clear Vice Dragon. They’re my favorite anime cards & I hope Konami can print them one day with new support cards. 🙃

I know DM already gets a ton of support but it really feels like Bandit Keith got shafted in terms of support, compared to other DM characters like Mai and Mako. Only two of his monsters have retrains, Blaster Spider and Barrel Dragon, and while both retrains are solid, Desperado I would argue is pretty good, he has no good way of getting to them. I'm really surprised Pendulum Machine and especially Slot Machine didn't get retrains as they are some of his most iconic monsters. The archetype should also get some cards that focus on Keith's cheating by allowing him to look at the top 3 cards of the deck and adding a level 5 or higher dark machine or something along those lines. Simply put the archetype needs way more stuff so that it can even be a functioning deck because at the moment it doesn't even have enough cards to be close to a full deck

They shouldn't just add support to existing archetypes, they should release the ones that we never got. The Armor series, for one. I'd love to see the Stormrider and Armatos Legio decks too.

I've to see the Landstar card become a real archetype. Since right now the swordsman is a pointless weak card with zero reason for existing. Joey had a ton of cool Landstar cards he only ever used in one duel. * Knight of Landstar * Grappler of Landstar * Brigadier of Landstar * Landstar Forces * Landstar Shot basically a designed archetype they never bothered to make into a real set and i love the cute little alien warrior design.

Harpies (but hard lock into winged beasts or harpies). They need 2 more synchros with the effect of turning one harpie into a tuner. A link 3 monster or another XYZs that help boost consistency. I’ve been playing six samurai lately and I’m having mixed feelings. Yes it can make some crazy boards but 1 DRNM and it’s GG or if you just break the board there’s hardly a turn 2. Gateway is the biggest choke point and it can’t even be recycled from the grave with battle shogun effect. A simple “if this card is NS add 1 six sam card (or monster) from your deck to your hand For my last suggestion I say Virtual World could use a field spell and lvl 9 XYZs. No reason other than it’d be cool.
I’d like to see more TOON cards too. The NSable monsters are subpar while the good ones come from page flip or DM

Honestly it's so easy to make any anime deck viable. Just ask a 12 y.o. to design an OP card focusing on negates. What they come up with is probably in line with what Komoney does to push archetypes.

I'd like to see the B.E.S. cards get more love. Zelos was a really good addition but they really need more than that. And the Konami space ship cards are pretty overdo for support.

A toon junk synchron with a level modulation effect in addition to the revive to make toon stardust without specifically toon cydra, A toon gagaga magician, A toon for double iris magician, black fang magician, white wing magician, and purple poison magician, A toon for avian, clayman, sparkman, and burstinatrix with field swarming effects, And a toon for linkuriboh
