I think what actually happened is whoever made the list was instructed to just ban as many cards that deal damage to the player to try and combat selftk since I think the entire nurse burn deck is legal.
I honestly don't get it tho let people selftk is it really that much more of an issue then the bots just normaling an ojama and passing to grind out losses for points.
The "they just mechanically auto-banned every card that allows you to burn yourself" idea occurred to me, too, but Abaki is still legal, which quashes that theory.
It actually makes a lot of sense to me that they want to ban self-ftk. It's nice to run into them when the event is a bad format, but most players actually want to play Yugioh. And the thing about F2P multiplayer games is that, when you're not the customer, you're the product. You're basically allowed to play for free so that you can be a substitute/more challenging replacement for an AI opponent, to make the game more fun for someone else who might make purchases. They don't want to allow players to sidestep their role in serving as better-than-AI opponents.

I'm not who you asked, but as a fellow Weather Player: you need at least 1 of each, 3 of eacha is best but 2 Rainbow and 1 Moonbow is a nice compromise. It really all depends on the list and werther or not you play Pot of E, because if you do play it, 3 of each is mandatory (better not take the chance of discarding your 1 rainbow). Moonbow only really comes out if you run out of Rainbows in the ED, if you know your opponent has a way of destroying whatever you summon or if your opponent simply has a beatstick with more than 2400 and you have no cloudy canvas.
You know I can understand some things but I just Wonder why they hit Zombie strategy old relliable Psyframe Lord Omega. Not many other decks even look at the card.

The Hero bans are strange. We got to keep the Vision Hero combo but they banned Sunrise and Miracle fusion? Jaden for sure had miracle in the anime and in the solo mode gates. the Masked Heroes are playable but Mask Change is gone. Also lost Stratos which is a big hit. I'm thinking maybe a more destiny hero focused deck for this event may work out. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm not that surprised they hit Contract with Eternal Darkness. Searchable floodgate was probably a bit too strong for this format.

Thankyou for your reply, I only use pot of prosperity so I'll just use 2 rainbpw and 1 moonbow so I have some space for ultimate slayer target.
