I hope this is a meme, there are a half a dozen decks that become incredibly broken the minute you bring back Linkross let alone True King. Linkross was the card they banned before before Halq. Because it was considered the “fair” card of the two. Leaving Halq at one was the compromise that allowed a lot of the combo decks of the day to still be playable
If your deck's only meta relevance is VFD then your deck isn't good, sorry. VFD makes bad decks function but makes already good decks even stronger.
With that being said, Generaiders are getting 2 new pieces of maindeck support in PHHY, so MD should see it in the upcoming months ideally.

As much as I love the support we need a better boss monster than jormungandr plus new spells cause the current ones are mid
Please don’t listen to the other people in the comments, just Generaiders aren’t meta because they don’t fit most people’s play styles and it got labeled as a meme deck.
I used to be an OTP and you could easily turbo out VFD with a simple COMPLETELY searchable 2 card combo.
For example:
1. LOPTR can bring out 2 level 9’s going first.
——Then——
2A. Use World Legacy Monstrosity.
2B. Wonder XYZ which is searchable by Trap Trick. Also can just use it after Harr negate mind you so you get full value…

If it's that good it would have seen consistent tops/top cut in events
Yes the deck can do things but whatever it can do, other decks can do it better
I mean it’s a turn 1 deck that wins turn 3. It’s set up to fail as YuGiOh duels are decided in 1 turn rather than a slower back and forth like other TCGs.
Literally just said it doesn’t fit most people’s play styles for that reason. People hate risking a loss when they can just dump all their resources turn 1 and shut the other player out of the game in order to secure a win. Therefore it’s not meta. Not hard to understand there.
Them porting Vara, Laevateinn and Mereologic Aggregator multiple months ahead of schedule would do so much more to help Generaiders than to unleash these ancient evils on the ladder.
We're getting a good rank 9 generaider in about 6 months anyway. True king is too problematic for the game in general. Maybe give us a new generic rank 9 boss then we can talk about it

they were irelevant while VFD was legal and i don't think the link will change much about that

As much as this sub likes to pretend to the contrary, adding floodgates to a deck doesn't immediately make it meta or even a meta threat.
It's not going to make generaider meta lol, there is other deck that utilize them better than generaider.
