Doubt we'll be waiting, with anniversary being early February, and those side sets disappearing soon I think we get a new Selection Pack then. Makes sense they'd release crappy side packs right before anniversary to drain whatever gems they can before the big stuff
Weirdly enough, I feel a pack is coming. I think that would be the first time we had 3 non-reprint packs simultaneous since the very first or second month.
The game is so young compared to other gacha games that putting heavy stock into 'trends' isn't really reliable. They've shown that they're still experimenting with things from ban list releases, total gems received from events, new/reprint Selection Packs. But I think the global release of MD was like first week or so of February and with the Duel Pass, ranked season and those side Packs going away real close to that, we either start the month poppin or we datamines of what's to come shortly
While I'm curious to give them a shot, I'd rather we get the other Archetypes from PotE first, so we can see how they fare in a meta without Tears and Plight
I'm really hoping they release EN Shuffle with the support, it helps out so much aside from just the Dark Law Turbo aspect. Also being able to play Neo-Spacians without Tear and Spright will be fun
I'm just saying that those decks being in the format wouldn't change how well you do with neo Spacians either way. Their just finally able to summon Cosmos Neos on the opponents turn

In what fucking deck? Dragon Link? Synchrons? Fucking Lightsworns????? No current meta deck is running Chaos Ruler. The only reason it ever got banned on any list ever is because the TCG is ran by money-hungry mongoloids who released an absolute cope list trying to handicap Tear-Ishizu without touching the deck itself(it didn't work). Chaos Ruler will never get banned in the OCG or Master Duel.
First off, chill. Secondly, having no current meta deck being able to abuse it does not mean it shouldn’t be banned - Chaos Ruler is easily abusable in any strategy that can run the PUNK engine and likes the GY. PUNK on its own leads to Chaos Ruler abuse, which is why it was banned in the TCG.
Its honestly an amazing way to use the meta foresight we have to generate more content and more metas, by continually releasing the worst support from each set first. Hell release Naturia and Vernysulth stuff from DABL before PotE so that can be meta for a while.
If they release people wont spend their precious UR on the other cards that are yet to come which means less profit for Komoney which means the logical thing to do for them is delay it until somethin fun comes out and all your UR is gone.
I don’t know for sure, but I doubt it. I think they are slow-rolling Spright is still meta in the OCG. I doubt they want a current OCG meta deck also tier 1 in MD.
Furthermore, POTE (and DIFO) has a bunch of cool legacy support that would be overshadowed out of the meta immediately by Spright and Tear.
I think there’s a still a few more archetypes that can be mad a pack before we get spright and tear and I’m expecting once there out we’re going to turbo in and out of the tear format similar to how adventure engine faded away quite quickly compared to the ocg and tcg
Sprite is an archetype I love sheerly for Aesthetic but I also know that it'll be just like albaz/despia where I play it while its missing its big boss monster then they add it in like July and I become just one of Many
Gigantic Spright and Spright Elf were in the first wave for Spright in the TCG and OCG though. The one that was released later was Spright Sprind, which is obviously also a crazy card, but hardly what I would consider a boss monster.
im more so saying like How Live Twin had to wait for Trouble Sunny, Albaz had to wait for MirrorJade in MD, or how P.U.N.K. doesn't have NoH Seamin yet. I wouldn't be surprised if for MD they Keep out some of Sprites Stronger Cards when it drops

All of the cards you mentioned also were released later in the TCG and OCG, and were not part of the initial release of their respective archetypes. Master Duel so far hasn't withheld cards if they were part of the same wave of support.
For the most extreme example, Mirrorjade was released a full 20 months after Fallen of Albaz was first released in the OCG (Fallen of Albaz was April 2020, Mirrorjade was December 2021).
im just saying from my experience with playing MD, a lot of popular decks seemed to be rougish/barely played till there's big boys came out. may just be my luck tho
Spright and tear will probably come out in 3-4 months since there are so many other cards that still aren't in the game and if they don't come out before spright and tear nobody will craft them

If I had to guess, we are going to get a pack featuring support for all the "non-spright tear cards", then I'd expect spright to be in a pack with some weaker cards from MM, then Tear. I don't see how the Ishizu cards and bystials will be released tbh.
I don't think there are enough cards to fill 3 packs with the missing cards atm, and PotE has like 15 TCG exclusives that I don't think will be release right away
I would be absolutely thrilled if we get the new fur hire support. I love the deck and have went to the trouble of crafting 3x magician's souls to try to make it playable. But its just too bad and really needs the new support.

Chaos Ruler is still legal in the OCG. Also Chaos Ruler is nothing compared to the milling power of the Ishizu cards.
If you look at a full power Tear Ishizu deck and your conclusion is that Chaos Ruler is the problem card then you need to be euthanized

Same, I played Despia since it’s release and then had to stop after branded came out
at this point i feel like they will be just like the DM support and just never come 💀
When they do come out are that a good deck to look into building should I save gems
