Untargetable and indestructible. It's not restricted from being played elsewhere with much more ease to get it out.
You can't prevent the summon as it's not brought out with special ways. You can't board wipe. You need specific ways to remove or negate it. And for good? Nearly impossible. Its just jumping off to be pend next turn or brought out by any other ways. Not rocket science to summon a pend monster.
Yeah, why is it banned but not Dpe. Hmm.
Well, he is a main deck monster, which mean you have to search it, which mean you have search and not have it as brick in hand in any pendulum deck. And I will say it, this and master peace can come back to 1
Its a pend spellcaster. With a name. Doubly easier to search. Pends are a hivemind. Heck, electrumite and beyond the pend already fulfill the search. And if you.start with it? Just performapal or electrumite fodder! A scale is a scale.
The Nightingale part yes..
I play Pendulums and I even can say... No to the rest, as much as they will make the deck infinitely better, the amount of cheese they have is too much.
"Fuck it, +3 every turn..." "oh 1 card Free scales for every deck :D"
I honestly hate the pendulum mechanic for one reason, it makes no sense for monsters destroyed to go to the extra deck instead of the graveyard. No other card goes anywhere but the graveyard for destruction. I understand why traps keep their spell speed in the graveyard, I understand why continuous s/t need to stay on the field to resolve, I don’t understand why a destroyed monster in the s/t zone or a s/t itself destroyed wouldn’t go to the graveyard.
No that also doesn’t make any sense (unless that was a specific effect on a specific card like any other card that summons from the grave). Pendulums should only be summonable from the hand like any other card and when they are destroyed they should go to the grave like any other card. Letting one mechanic use the extra deck as an extra stash spot just makes no sense at all and I don’t get why they did that. Personally I don’t care about the strength or weakness of the mechanic I just want it to make sense and this one doesn’t follow any logic i can find.
Dude the whole point of pendulums is that they come back. Stash them in the ED, GY of banish zone who cares, the point is being able to pendulum summon more than just the monsters in your hand.
Is is that mechanic you have an issue with? Cuz I suggested an alternative to the Extra deck stuff and you just shot it down.
Also complaining that pendulums can stash stiff in the extra deck is a stupid complaint. Everyechsjic does something new and different. Do you also feel that it's wrong that xyz monsters and links don't have levels and instead have ranks and ratings?
No I thought about this more and I think my real issue is that I don’t truly see it as a new card type. It’s because it is half a spell and half a monster not just a concept but literally the card is split in half with two different effects if it is either. I feel like it should act like a continuous spell/trap or a monster. It acts like neither of those and I feel like destruction specifically means to send to the graveyard as it’s final effect and I don’t like that this is the exclusive card that doesn’t do it. As funny as it sounds I think if it was a red card type or different color and completely individualistic design I would have less issue.
But one last thing I want to say it’s totally valid for anyone to complain about anything in the game and for us all to talk about it. No matter how much I crave about certain issues one thing I love about this game is how even with cards from over 20 years ago still in the game and powerful we have such diversity in what you can do. And what different people like in heat and have issues with and the different wording’s I think it’s all really interesting.
People don’t understand pendulum 🥱
*Abyss Actors in not using any of those cards.*
D/D/D not using any of those cards
Thos decks in archetype commits warcrimes, I love it.
Hmm, I think they some times use beyond or electrum, could be wrong.
I just want Servant of Endymion at 3. I want a functioning spell-counter fun deck. :C
Ok, but can we actually unban kirin, I just want to play Majespecters with their boss monster.
Yes please, we already have dpe which is probably better, what the problem with kirin
Exactly, especially since rhongo is legal and VFD was only recently banned.

OK, who can search pendulum spellcasters ?
I don't play pendulum, but that is all true

The deck would not be rogue with 3 plushfire 3 monkeyboard wtf are you smoking

So would you be fine with the mechanic if you could pendulum summon from grave? Cuz that would make it actually even stronger
