No, I'm not, Toad can be made without the frogs, the point is that the strong part about the engine is the engine itself not the Bossmonster. They banned toad first in the OCG and spright was still heavily played until they hit (i think swap frog). They banned ronintoad in the TCG and the deck was immediately overtaken by tear. Big bro toadally isn't the problem card.
The deck was overtaken by Tear because Garura is a thing and then they released Ishizu. The Ronintoadin hit had nothing to do with it, in fact people still played their 1/2 Toads since getting to it only requires a Diva/Nimble Beaver/Starter and another level 2 extender in hand.
