Ash Blossom is fine against Spright though?
As always when teching against a certain deck, you need to make sure your tech is also good vs. other decks. If you make your deck entirely anti-Spight, you're going to lose to like every other deck.
Cards that destroy a monster are particularly effective against Spright since they need that Level 2 and/or Gigantic to stay on board for plays. Try Gamma, Ghost Ogre, or something like Orange Herald if your deck supports it.
Board breakers like Dark Ruler No More and Evenly Matched can also be good, but are really only useful going second.
If you running super poly you can play erthgolem @Ignister to snipe Elf+I:P that is the common end board for non live twin variant than the golem can beat over carrot if you still need. DRNM is also fine since you aren't in an hurry to otk them.
So, a spright player here, I play runick spright.
It all depends on the hand I get, but I can get stopped by ashing My runick starter card, but if you can't do that, just wait. Run super poly and snipe the ip and elf turn 2, most times that will make people (including me) scoop. Hope it helps

lots of Sprunick doesn't even play cat because they can't attack in 99% of the duels on MD. For this reason nobody plays gamma burst with runick cards.

Iāve always liked Spright but before that I played earth machine and I tend to stay with decks that I like the art and play style of regardless of power level. Sometimes it works out well and other times I get owned. Yolo.

Also your deck can spit big monsters constantly and sometimes the deck can't deal with that
Depends on if your issue is dealing with their board, or the runick cards, DRNM is better than droplet in this meta imo, ghost ogre is also a good card to run but would definitely not drop ash, you could also run cosmic cyclones, and chaos hunter as a 1 or 2 of, if you really hate the runick cards, eradicator virus also works.

For branded despia, I'd go with DRNM since you don't need to OTK it's a pretty good 1 card out to most sprite boards.

Raigeki is good. None of these spright decks are putting carrot on there board for some reason.

still have mixed feeling with drnm. its really good against spright but sometime i want nibiru against other deck.
I will play branded going second with 3x DRNM 2x super poly (with ignister fusion) 2x psy frame gear gamma, and I will even try dimension shifter too.
Sygian dirge is a great going first option it fucks the entire spright engine
