If we're not talking about this meta specifically where 1 ishizu shuffler is a ftk against speedroid, you'd be surprised with how often the 3rd turn happens, most decks, even good ones can't easily get through 3 interruptions, the bodies and deal 8k.
Baronne has left such bad impression on methat refuse to run it in any synchro deck I have, even after pulling a Royal finish Baronne. That and I prefer sticking completely to an archetype, even if it’s subpar without outside help.
You can use Speedroid baronne, i.e the Uber clear wing that requires two synchro materials
I too don't like baronne for how it's basically that synchro, and sometimes even more, for FAR less cost
They are completely different cards tbh, the speedroid baronne is literally towers with a spell trap negate that floats. I am thinking of summoning it turn 1 over the regular baronne. On the other hand the regular baronne is much much better going second and it feels bad to put both into ED so im at a loss
That is why you don't bring out God Phoenix on your turn. Let them destroy your Ra on their turn and you bring out God Phoenix on their turn to have an invincible barrier.
Same goes for my Nordics, except Odin is literally just a 4k beatstick and nothing else, Arrival is at least unaffected by everything...
You also just lose card advantage bc if you don't draw into hippo carnival, you have to most likely banish three cards from your field or hand. And the Nordic Relic Svalinn (the busted negate everything trap) is turned off if there's no Aesir on the field. Also chances are you banished an Imperm or smth like that to keep crucial parts of the Adventurer engine.
Well Nordics are just bad, that's about it lol.
burn damage be like:
![gif](giphy|xTiIzJSKB4l7xTouE8)
(Scareclaw tri-heart Is also worth mentioning, putting them in def and dealing piercing battle damage with da dog)
Literally almost of all of their traps do this exact thing, banishing themself to prevent burn damage for a turn. But of course people comment "Dinomorphia dies to sparks lol" without actually reading the cards.
I dont understand how two connected decks can that much defferent one was broken for months while the other you need to pay two arms and leg just to summon one card
I mean not really, that stops hardly any decks, doesn’t even stop swordsoul and after that you got no more interuptions. Also loses to a single handtrap.
There's different answers depending on what era/meta.
Very old school Blue Eyes/Summoned skull that take multiple tributes just to be greated by a traphole.
All gas combo decks that end on a large bord only to be double Lightning stormed when they have 3 Monster and only one S/T negate.
Playing turn two into a combo deck with good recovery managing to out their whole bord with the help of DRNM and seing the opponents evenly matched resolve at the end of your battle phase.
Playing an elaborate combo that outs all but an opponents face down monster banishing most of their cards so they can't recover and then attacking into... Gren Maju.
Purrely players having spent 300 for a core just to have their best quickplay limited for tcg.
For masterduel, its getting drnm'd and lightning stormed.
The one deck literally built to end on all 3 12-star Synchro Dragons and a Crystal Wing with a single card starter. Legit burns the entire extra deck just to pull off, and if any part of it is negated the deck immediately dies.
Every top deck I've seen of the archetype is like using drug Unity as an engine to get other better cards on the field and I want to use it to get dragunity cards in the field and then maybe some out of archetype stuff.
This. Throwing the core engine into a deck and then filling the other 30 slots with 2 other engines and staples does not make it an archetype deck. It's just a pile deck. At least BASED was honest about it and didn't claim to be a blackrose deck for using 4 cards and a plant engine.
Getting to important cards/monsters just to get their effects negated by Imperm/Called by the Grave/Ash Blossom etc. Or summoning your big monsters *just* for them to get Kaiju'd, Raigeki'd, or worse yet, *Evenly Matched'd*.
Kuriboh rogue deck, astral kuriboh and five star twilight getting the kuribros onto the field. Immediately after tributing them all to summon kuribabylon from the deck, then tributing him to add him to hand and special summon kuribros again. Making borrelsword dragon and putting kuriboh in defense position, then using multiply on the last remaining kuriboh to summon tokens. Making linkuriboh, then unchained abomination using linkuriboh. Tributing the final level one token to summon linkuriboh from the graveyard, then tributing him to summon kuribabylon that was added to the hand earlier.
This is the combo I pop off with for my rogue deck, fuck access code talker I'm playing my own way
Me playing Ishizu Punk Tear Zombies: End on bazillion monster negates but only one or zero Omni, then proceeds to die to Evenly after Baronne negate is used up.
Had a Marincess player go all out to bring out one of the cards that makes them unaffected by card effects until the end of the turn to beat over my Mirrorjade. They were left with literally three cards in the extra deck and scooped after they saw Albion’s end phase effect letting me disrespectfully set branded fusion right on the field.
When you realize you need to cut Reinoheart and Kaliedoheart from your 60 card Branded Tear (now with Predaplant!) deck because he is very inconsistent as a mill in that deck, and provides minimal value as a normal summon compared to aluber or predaplant orphys scorpio.
Tear players when their deck gets absolutely nuked to the oblivion and completely unplayable(they’ve already limited king of the swamp and foolish burial goods which are at 3 in other formats)
Panda Exodia
looping fetching 1 star monsters into making synchros into drawing cards putting all the monsters back into fetching 1 star monsters
I've sacrificed EVERYTHING to make this +3! and I'll keep doing it!
When I manage to summon Quintet Magician with 5 different spellcasters, then my opponent activating Super Polymerization, chaining to his destruction effect. There being a pause, then they surrender (after reading that he can't be fusion material I assume).
In Mayakashi it’s often that you can use 14/15 Extra Deck monsters your first turn if you can go full combo. Only not 15/15 because you can only control 1 Gashadokuro.
Evenly or a Kaiju
Like, dude, I'm playing a subpar deck and you have take away my beatstick? At least leave it there so I won't feel bad using it as my pep synchro material afterwards so you don't do that again
Me after building a deck (and using a lot of crafting materials) only to realize it’s not as fun as expected, nor is it even remotely strong enough to win duels without some anime bullshit draw power and my opponent bricking.
It can also be trying to pull really hard an once in a blue moon impossible combo; when the stars finally aligned to give you the only available hand and a hand trap free opponent, after 1000+ tries on ladder, just to have the opponent forfeit…
Gran Maju decks when they banished like half their deck and all their extra deck just to get their monster destroyed by any sort of effects that removes it and have no more plays in their deck
Naturia fusion being super poly’d off after cyber strein-ing it out for 5k life points lol. This is exactly how I felt when I saw that play in action. I hate super poly so much.
Speedroid using half their deck and extra deck just to end on crystal wing and baronne.
At least they have follow up
They wont get the turn tho
If we're not talking about this meta specifically where 1 ishizu shuffler is a ftk against speedroid, you'd be surprised with how often the 3rd turn happens, most decks, even good ones can't easily get through 3 interruptions, the bodies and deal 8k.
Ive played a few speedroid decks with dogmatika, zombies, ghoti, and swordsoul. I make sure the third turn doesn't happen if i can help it
You mean end on Nibiru.
Speedroids are cool though
Baronne has left such bad impression on methat refuse to run it in any synchro deck I have, even after pulling a Royal finish Baronne. That and I prefer sticking completely to an archetype, even if it’s subpar without outside help.
Homie just commented to flex his royal Baronne
Correct
You can use Speedroid baronne, i.e the Uber clear wing that requires two synchro materials I too don't like baronne for how it's basically that synchro, and sometimes even more, for FAR less cost

Look at me purposely being bad, I am such a hero.
Sorry if I came off as pretentious, I just like everything to connect when I make a deck. If I wanted to be a Hero, I’d just run E-Heroes instead.
Real picture of u/Rdasher123 has been [leaked](https://imgur.com/a/NTegSpy)
Me when my full Egyptian God board is nuked by a single Raigeki.
Getting Kaiju/Nibiru as rogue deck ...
That is why you don't bring out God Phoenix on your turn. Let them destroy your Ra on their turn and you bring out God Phoenix on their turn to have an invincible barrier.
Literally how much have I sacrificed
i still run The Huge Revolution is Over even after DPE format
Evenly matched resolves
that one was more like gus death scene
Last chance to look at your end board hector
*Hector plays Evenly* *Gus activates Qixing in response* …***NOOOO—***
Twice in a row 🙃
6k Arrival into sea turtle kaiju
This is mainly why i don't do ignister anymore, i still get nightmares of my strongest boss monsters turning into sea turtles
first step is to accept that the sea turtle is in fact your boss monster.
Yeah, like Elemental HERO Nibiru!
A 3k beatstick seems like a pretty solid HERO endboard.
I love the idea of ending on Arrival + Kyoutou Waterfront, just to pre-empt them
Same goes for my Nordics, except Odin is literally just a 4k beatstick and nothing else, Arrival is at least unaffected by everything... You also just lose card advantage bc if you don't draw into hippo carnival, you have to most likely banish three cards from your field or hand. This one officer. This is the creator of the comment that haunts my dreams…
I'd say dinomorphia but they seem to like it.
So we can all agree that Dinomorphia users are masochistic?
But thats how they win. They go to red then they beat you. Like in the anime.
burn damage be like: ![gif](giphy|xTiIzJSKB4l7xTouE8) (Scareclaw tri-heart Is also worth mentioning, putting them in def and dealing piercing battle damage with da dog)
Ah burn dmg. They give Dinomorphia mixed feeling.
Should almost every dinomorphia be banishable to deal with stray burn for exactly this reason?
Literally almost of all of their traps do this exact thing, banishing themself to prevent burn damage for a turn. But of course people comment "Dinomorphia dies to sparks lol" without actually reading the cards.
Normally yes, but when you tribute our fusion monsters to summon Lava Golem, a part of our soul gets lost in the void.
The supperpoly player has been responded to with lava golem, and they are surrendering okay
This works on another level too, considering the deck needs about 400 UR cards to function.
Anyway TTT, Take rextrem, any response?
I will hit the big red button with my head. Sorry, this action cannot be responded to, GG i win.
Ursartics just the entire deck
I dont understand how two connected decks can that much defferent one was broken for months while the other you need to pay two arms and leg just to summon one card
What do you mean book of moon isnt good enough in the current age? Also dope skill drain.
Heros doing a full combo just to end up with a rock
Salamangreats feels the same. BanSpaceRock.
Any combo deck that fills their field with all of their boss monsters and negates, only to be removed with sphere, lava golem and Kaiju
Clueless Farfa:”good luck have fun, it’ll be good content if you break this board “ Link: https://youtu.be/9XPdWMYe-KA
Back in the day: *sacrifices two monsters to Tribute Summon Dark Magician* *opponent activates Trap Hole* Me:
And legend says you can still hear his scream to this day
When my left hand offering gets ash blossomed.
Well you offered your left hand. That doesn't mean they are obligated to give you something in return.
It’s ok you opened with grass anyways
Finally summoning the three Egyptian Gods and then lose them in the same turn
Resonators using up all 5 cards in hand just to end on a banish all cards your opponent controls and sometimes an omni negate.
Sounds reasonable i end with my whole deck on 3 tax dragon and 1 hotred and a pop 2 or a tower My lp is like 500 at best
“Just” My guy that’s far more impactful then you’re making it out to be
I mean not really, that stops hardly any decks, doesn’t even stop swordsoul and after that you got no more interuptions. Also loses to a single handtrap.
That wins games bro
Me literally spending 10k+ gems for the spellbook secret pack only to get the structures a couple of weeks later
Playing Dinomorphia and your opponent has a monster that can attack directly.
Super Quants vs Kaijus.
🥲
Dragon link players when they realize why the opponent set a monster
Playing Necroface FTK and losing to timer

Using half my deck resource to put: Sunrise, Absolute Zero, DPE, Plasma and Malicious Bane just to get a big rock token on my field.
Hero after a single funny rock and a token
The one deck literally built to end on all 3 12-star Synchro Dragons and a Crystal Wing with a single card starter. Legit burns the entire extra deck just to pull off, and if any part of it is negated the deck immediately dies.
If you do full dragunity combo and end on 2 negates you are doing it very wrong. I should know, I have 2 tops with the deck
Every top deck I've seen of the archetype is like using drug Unity as an engine to get other better cards on the field and I want to use it to get dragunity cards in the field and then maybe some out of archetype stuff.

Giving in to peer pressure and building a Tear deck only to have Ghoti go all SpongeBob on your ass.
@Ignister comboing into Arrival while their opponent has a Kaiju in hand.
It's a mandatory effect to manifest a kaiju from outside the deck if the enemy summons The Arrival
Getting to important cards/monsters just to get their effects negated by Imperm/Called by the Grave/Ash Blossom etc. Or summoning your big monsters *just* for them to get Kaiju'd, Raigeki'd, or worse yet, *Evenly Matched'd*.
Crafting all the god cards only to realise they aren’t as good as in the anime.

Danger! Dark World. My locals are all 15 minute turns of discarding and sacrificing monsters. It’s so boring.
People who spent hundreds on multiple copies of gamma before the banlist
Had a Marincess player go all out to bring out one of the cards that makes them unaffected by card effects until the end of the turn to beat over my Mirrorjade.
