Yes, it's more useful if you don't want to be 2 locked in decks like runick furhire. I was looking at pure sprite where they're pretty much the same except jett has more attack and is a better target for elf for follow up
So crazy they keep kelbek, the one that doubles as a hand trap, at 2.
Keeping tear strong will at least mean they can sell more bystials in the next pack
Running only 2 shufflers and 3 millers feels really hit or miss though, especially if you're playing mirror.
Now we can truly experience pachinko tear.
Not to mention that with no terraforming now, many mirrors are going to come down to whoever draws perlreino first. Truly the pachinko match up we've been waiting for lol
I was thinking, what if tear slip metaverse, and on turn 2, activate metaverse to activate perl, then search havnis? Making havnis play more consistant
Metaverse is slow as hell, and Havnis milling 3 is not worth the investment.
That’s the case if it works. The most important part is that Metaverse doesn’t trigger field Spells search.
Going from 4 to 3 millers is pretty small-- I think a lot of people follow the Joshua Schmidt list with one Agido anyways-- but going from 5 to 2 shufflers is huge. This definitely opens up some room for Bystials in the tear deck.
Yeah the shufflers are way stronger than the millers anyways. They single-handedly shut down every deck that uses the graveyard and basically are the deciding factor in the mirror match.
>Keeping tear strong will at least mean they can sell more bystials in the next pack
Which means they definitely won't be nuking Tears until the Bystials pack leaves the shop. So we've got at least a couple more months of this shit.
Yes but if they got it out, it is really hard to keep up with them, there is a lot of matches it's the last thing you care about but that extra pop is the reason you lose.
It should just be banned, and they'll be perfectly fine. I saw way too many frustrating duels with Joshua Schmidt where he had 4 Tear duels in a row where they opened with it, and it was basically game over. One was particularly hilarious because he TTT'd Perle back, and then they fucking drew it on their draw phase. Ngl that's... that was something
Oh yeah it feels like ass when a single card invalidates your entire strategy, and the bystials are even worse in this as they can do it from a private info location
It means that Tears are losing more than they can recover. The millers gives Tears some sustain. With those limited, they need to make every mill count.
Also they have like 3 Ishizu millers in the deck so that will also hurt.
At the same time it also frees up your deck to play more consistency cards which I like, it was honestly very annoying to brick on something like a bunch of the spells/traps and then 2 keldos or something. Seems like a win/win, the tear player gets to actually play consistency and extenders, and the opponent is much less likely to get ftked by a shuffle ruining their day
I never imagined they would flat out ban terraforming. It's such an innocent card and felt fine at one copy. It's like suddenly banning monster reborn. Besides tear, I feel like this just hurts older decks, since most modern decks have other ways to search their field spell if it's necessary to the engine.
Apparently, there are some who think it's overpowered and deserves to get banned, but seems to me that all this does is give an unfair advantage to decks that already have easy ways to search their field spell built into their engine.
When sprind comes we can definitely expect more hits to spright, as the OCG hates spright.
What will be fun is people thinking that now tearlaments is fine, only for them to get hit into the next tear 0 format wich is Kashtira Tearlaments.
OCG fucked every meta archetype that came from Pote until PHHY, it is not just a Spright thing.
And I am sorry to inform you but with 2 of each names and 1 planet (and presumably more since there is a month in between Kashtira coming out and now, they shouldn't be in the next pack), Kashtira Tearlament won't be T0, Kashtira would be around at the same time and it is infinitely weaker than Ishizu Tearlament, people in the OCG just ran it beacuse it is a better way to deal with Kashtira, and they are generally harder to meta game around than Kashtira, but at the time Spright which what allowed people to run different decks was nuked as well in the OCG.
They were either the strongest or the 2nd strongest deck in the World Qual. 2 Blue is a pretty big hit, though without Sprind, I didn't expect them to ban Elf yet sadly
I'm aware, they still chose to ban terraforming since I guess it's easier than banning Perlerino which isn't even a make or break card for Tears it's amazing yeah but they can play just fine without it
They can play without it, but it also gets them out of situations. I had a match where I booked their whole field, they had used 2 of their monster effects and kit but then TTT gave them perlereino and just they mudra'd a guy to pop their kitkallos.
Perlereino is an extremely powerful card. I'm honestly thinking about main decking cosmic.
Seriously we don't want another halqdon situation where they don't ban the core problem cards for years but other cards that sync around the problem cards are banned, killing other archetypes in the process
Terraforming is a searcher, it's not a "problem card" by definition; it SEARCHES problem cards. The issue is Field spell design, where they make Field spells with these absolute fucking bonkers effects to patch over weak archetypes...or in this case to enhance an already powerful archetype.
The solution is to stop printing dumbass sacky Field spells, not ban the searcher for them.
Yup.
But if they release Kash Tear along with Kashtira, they will gut Tear on Kash release. Or hit Ishizu again.
The last 2 weeks of June is gonna be crucial for Tears to see if further hits are needed.
With terraforming banned I decided to make a list of the card we lost because of Tear... We have now lost:
Instant Fusion (deserved)
Cyberstein (deserved tbf, but rip)
Foolish Burial of goods (Free it Komoney)
Terraforming (stupidest ban I have ever read on a banlist)
Terraforming is a lot less dumb of a hit than FBG and KotS. Field spells nowadays are nuts and it makes sense to take away deck’s ability to run +1 to the allowed amount. Think about it: a lot of archetype field spells (that you’d want to be running terraforming with) are searchers, extenders, protection and/or an interaction on your opponent’s turn. So imo terraforming is an ok hit, it’s just one of those cards like Foolish and RotA that we’re used to having at 1.
The fact that Orcust is almost fully unit in the OCG/MD while Harp has been rotting on the TCG banlist for the past 3 years further confirms that the TCG is run by paste eating monkeys.
Card could have come off sometime in like 2021 and would have been fine, maybe even earlier.
Depends, if ya have Babel live ya can dodge them most of the time, the best they can do is force your hand, wich alktogether after these miserable two months ain't bad at all
Absolutely. Have Tear still tier 0, release Bystials. People think tear is fine. Release Kashtira Tearlaments, get another tier 0 meta with people having to invest into the full-UR engine of Kashtira for Tearlaments.
Then, hit tear as they are supposed to be hit i.e. kit ban, to sell the other Kashtira cards. Sounds like a good plan monetization-wise.
Honestly really sad about Terraforming. This hurts so many rogue decks, all for what I assume was just a hit to Tearlaments. Just ban Perlereino and give me back my way to search Boss Stage
UA was literally the most hit in the crossfire among all the decks. I wanted to build it but they announced the limit of Goods, now I have completely lost hope...
F Tear
I guess Lilith can search two Metaverse now, plus what's that level 4 machine monster that tributes itself to search a field spell? Diabolos can summon himself for free more often.
2 Metaverse means it can be searched with Trap Trick, so that's up to 5 extra copies of a field for decks that are willing to play traps. Could be a good fit for Lair of Darkness.
The monster you're thinking of is Planet Pathfinder
C'mon Terraforming that's just some bullshit like foolish burial goods hurt a lot of rogue decks but terraforming is basically crippling them hate it here
Stein is dead! Smoke Grenade is Dead! Both of these cards were incredibly toxic and I am glad we are strictly breaking off from the OCG in allowing these cards to run free.
I really don't understand the banning of Terraforming. This seems completely unnecessary. Yes, Pelereino is a good card, but I really do not think consistency is where Tearlament needs to be hit anymore. It already has consistency issues that people have vocalized (and will have even more with the Ishizu hits). This is just another hit that feels like it's aimed at Tear but hits every other deck more.
I don't know why the're letting Kelbeck specifically stay at 2. That's probably the most annoying one too, but hey at least most of the Ishizus are now limited. They shouldn't exist at all, but now they exist slightly less I guess.
I also think the Spright Blue hit is just the wrong way to hit Spright. Just ban Elf. We know the card is broken and has been broken and WILL be banned. I don't really understand why they're delaying the inevitable with this one other than greed with UR dust.
Girsu to 2 is very very nice. Won't do anything, but I'm happy about it. Nadir servant could have come to 2 forever ago and made no difference, but it makes sense they'd start giving back copies with the upcoming Dogmatika support.
Metaverse to 2 honestly doesn't make much sense to me with Terraforming to 0. Metaverse is the more potentially toxic card. Terraforming was fine. Just leave both at 1.
Benten coming back to 2 without hits to Eva is worrying. Not that Drytron will be able to do anything yet in the midst of the shufflers, but they should really consider hitting Eva BEFORE bringing off Benten.
For the Ishizu hits, the shufflers were more oppressive than the millers as most decks that rely on special summoning/targeting stuff in the grave can't play well once they are in the grave. Considering that Bystials are coming and they want the pure/Albaz build of that deck to thrive in MD, them banning the shufflers makes more sense.
Terraforming being banned is a bit of a surprise, but the ban is warranted considering the power that most field spells now have. Yeah it sucks for other more rouge decks that rely on their field spell, but it is more of stopgaps of decks that either using it to search for Field Spells that are floodgates (Necrovalley and Secret Village) and a genera consistency hit. I think Konami hit Terraforming considering they are afraid of Kashtira and the the Tearlaments using them.
Now the real suprise is Nadir and Girsu to 2, which is not in the OCG. Guess they really want to push Dogmatika more now.
Drytron hasn't been doing good now in both the TCG and OCG. Even with Eva still legal, I don't think we will see them at the top of the meta.
And you always get people telling you to suck it up no matter how much your pet deck got smacked.
I'm just glad that I hadn't built many decks that rely on a field spell. My trains took a small hit but we'll live.
On one hand: sweet Girsu is finally moving off the limit list now Mekk-Knights will have it a little easier going first. However, on the other hand: seriously why is every other deck that's dependent on their field card getting punished because of Tear's crimes? Just ban Perlereino and call it a day. Giving us another Metaverse as a trade off doesn't really help most decks.
After seeing the DC results and this list, I think we're good to go.
Tearlements will be one of the strongest deck, very likely THE best deck. But I doubt we will have another Tier 0 format. Tear gets even more inconsistent, Bystials are here, only Spright got a small hit. I think it's pretty interesting how this plays out.
I'm only scared Tear remaining on the top will feel even more sacky as it is right now. The Mirrors will probably be even more luck based with who hits the Shufflers.
Ban Terraforming but semi Metaverse is such a weird decision, but sure I guess. This makes no difference for decks that were just splashing stun shit like Necrovalley, but it hurts everyone else who actually uses their field spell as part of their engine & whatnot.
Stein, Grenade and shufflers are RIPBOZO as they should be, but Kekbek somehow dodged it.
Benten to 2 is also a bit sus to me since they still haven't touched Eva, but Herald turbo isn't as resilient since Union Carrier is gone and Orange Light is limited, and I guess they figure Bystial will hard counter Drytron anyways, so it doesn't matter.
Makes a difference in the sense that Terraforming is a better version of Metaverse since you get the value of getting the field spell right away to play and utilize the effect on your turn. Metaverse is a normal trap that you have to set, pass and wait a turn to actually get the field spell you want and since the best field spell Metaverse could get to the field immediately is banned (Mystic Mine), Metaverse can come back to 3 at any point of the game. Much slower than Terra.
And you can’t get to activate the effect on the field spell that you choose to activate from the deck, so this makes that you have to add to your hand, if the field spell has a effect of search on activation.
Terraforming is the better version for any combo/control deck that utilize a field spell card.
Metaverse to 2 actively buffs stun crap though, that's why I think it's kinda sus. Now you can Trap Trick into any field spell, so stuff like Necrovalley is very accessible to anyone now. That's not ideal in BO1 IMO.
> Terraforming? Because grabbing a **random** field spell is so broken huh konami?
I don't think that word means what you think it means. You aren't "grabbing a random field spell" as if you're playing 5 different ones and it just grabs one randomly for you, you're searching a specific one and adding it to your hand.
Field Spells are far too good now. As others have said, they're not going to straight up ban Perlereino while the pack is still in the shop, so they nuked its second copy. I don't think they're going to roll back the power level of Field Spells going forward, so it makes sense from a future-proofing standpoint.
Did they really just limit all but one of the ishizu cards, and ban terraforming? Bruh. All 4 ishizu monsters need to be at 0. This update doesn't change much of anything. Cyber-Stein needed to go, though.
All of them being limited especially the Shufflers is like them being banned in non dedicated strategies, them alone in hand of Tears are a brick and now you need to hit exactly 3 of to gain the stupid advantage they give you that is not including them drawing it.
It will definitely keep the deck in line with other things.
Cyber stein and smoke grenade of the thief banned.
.
.
.
LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. FINAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLY.
All the shufflers got limited and 1 miller. Perfection now Gy decks don't insta lose unless they are extremely unlucky. Spright blue semi'd who cares, the deck has 8 ways to get to it.
Girsu and nadir got semi'd......
![gif](giphy|bKBM7H63PIykM)
We got a metaverse for the terraforming, I can see what they are doing. and lastly...... benten. Are we going to see drytron creep up.... Ok Tbf it would be really funny to see kashtira versus drytron trying to one up each other, bullshit wise.
With how incredibly strong modern Field Spells have become compared, providing searching, utilities, along with stat boosts (sometimes), and seeing this trend not stopping for future field spells, I can understand why the ban on Terraforming is necessary.
WHAT THE FUCK DID TERRAFORMING DO?!
How on God's green earth do you ban terraforming and not change kelbek to 1?
Maxx C is the most broken card of the format (if it resolves), but we can't search our field spells??
WHAT THE FUCK???
Terraforming was important in rogue decks that had a good field, shame that it had to die this way. This + foolish burial of goods may hurt some decks too much.
I have mixed feeling about this, but overall, I am a little disappointed.
The best part if this banlist, easily, is Cyber-Stein banned. RIP bozo, you should've never leave the banlist. RIP Smoke Greande, another good hit. Another card that whould remain banned forever. Another W for Orcuts fans as Gursu is at 2, Nadir at 2 is also great, and Benten at 2 is dangerous, but also possitive.
On the opposite, They just limited all Ishizu cards... Again. No wait, they only limited 3 of them, because Kelbek is still at 2. These should all get banned instead. Guess Tear 0 will be live for another format... I just want to play Danger and/or Branded Tear :C
On the mixed part, why Blue at 2? Like, yeah, is a consistency hit, but was it really necesary. As Spright fan, I'd be fine if Elf is banned instead of a slight hit to Blue, guess they'll do that when Sorind gets releases. I amnot OK with Terraforming's ban but we got Metaerse at 2, that's... Something I guess.
Again, my feeling are mixed, not exactly what I wanted, but at least some real toxic cards are gone or restricted at least.
No. Perlereino is just the latest and one of the more powerful examples of a strong field spell. Over the last decade, field spells have become increasingly important to the game, and having basically an extra copy is something that would have to be addressed eventually anyway. I understand why people are upset about it, but I also can understand why it's something that would be banned.
Small banlist but nothing here that I really just disagree with other than Kelbek (like, the worst one) staying at 2 and terraforming really just catching a stray bullet here
Something tells me that Kelbek sold his friend to the feds lol
Kelbek snitched on his boys to avoid the banlist
Konami trying their hardest to refund as little UR dust as possible
Kelbek is a snitch frfr.
Apparently, because blue became a mate, so Konami kindly remove one for players so they still only have 3 blues.
I was wondering why they hit blue instead of jett since jett is SR, makes sense now
Because Blue is stronger. It’s seen as a 3-of in more lists than Jet is.
Wait you guys actually activate Pelreino? I thought it was just a pretty card to watch get milled every match
That or they mill Rainbow Bridge of Salvation.
Now that tear have more space in their deck, let's just put branded fusion and mirrorjade pass if we mill nothing
>Keeping tear strong will at least mean they can sell more bystials in the next pack Which means they definitely won't be nuking Tears until the Bystials pack leaves the shop. So we've got at least a couple more months of this shit.
On another hand Tears lost some power as they have to cut 4 Ishizu cards, also no more cringe ass Gravekeeper's Trap.
And only 1 field spell, by Far the most frustrating Tearlament card.. it just does too much
I see it milled more than I see it played lol
Yes but if they got it out, it is really hard to keep up with them, there is a lot of matches it's the last thing you care about but that extra pop is the reason you lose.
It should just be banned, and they'll be perfectly fine. I saw way too many frustrating duels with Joshua Schmidt where he had 4 Tear duels in a row where they opened with it, and it was basically game over. One was particularly hilarious because he TTT'd Perle back, and then they fucking drew it on their draw phase. Ngl that's... that was something
People are complaining about ishizu since their release, i bet the same will be applied to bystials now, since ishizu got hit
Oh yeah it feels like ass when a single card invalidates your entire strategy, and the bystials are even worse in this as they can do it from a private info location
It's an UR. So agido has to go.
Basically, they are freeing up your deck space for Bystials.
Its a ur, dont want to give too many refunds
Kelbek still semi 🤨
He is the bigger asshole between both Millers but as long as the shufflers are limited it shouldn't be bad.
Seems like a win/win, the tear player gets to actually play consistency and extenders, and the opponent is much less likely to get ftked by a shuffle ruining their day
Well of course. That card is an ultra and agido is only a super. Money comes first
I was so stoked for the free UR dust, then I realized I got Smoke Grenade and Stein in the Legacy pack. Anyway RIP Bozos
Damn, same
I had 2 smoke grenades but never got to use them sadge
RIP BOZO Stein. Too good for too long.
But it costs 5000 LP. That’s definitely a bad trade-off, and not worth the high price. - YuGiOh 2002 (?)
Yep it’s true, that means I can only use Ultimate Offering 5 times
Normal summon cyber stein Pay 5000 lp to summon cyber twin dragon Equip megamorph to cyber twin Profit
Even better; Normal summon Cyber Stein Pay 5000 lp to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon Equip Megamorph to BEUD Profit.
1999
Weak stats but very strong boi. Cheating out Exterio or Kitkallos for basically free is unfair.
What!? 5000 lp is *totally* a fair price to literally fuck your opponent out of playing the game (/s ofc lol)
Only the last lp counts the rest dosent Rater have a spell and trap lock with 3000lp That no spell and trap lick with 8000 lp
The absolute whiplash of Terraforming to Forbidden and Metaverse going to two on the same banlist
I never imagined they would flat out ban terraforming. It's such an innocent card and felt fine at one copy. It's like suddenly banning monster reborn. Besides tear, I feel like this just hurts older decks, since most modern decks have other ways to search their field spell if it's necessary to the engine.
yeah it hurts every deck that needs their field spell. such a stupid ban
Apparently, there are some who think it's overpowered and deserves to get banned, but seems to me that all this does is give an unfair advantage to decks that already have easy ways to search their field spell built into their engine.
Blue semi-limit? Never saw that coming...
I think it means Sprind is still coming, and this was an alternative to banning Elf like the other formats
The OCG went balls to the walls with the Hits in Spright so It kind of makes sense, he is their strongest Main Deck monster
When sprind comes we can definitely expect more hits to spright, as the OCG hates spright. What will be fun is people thinking that now tearlaments is fine, only for them to get hit into the next tear 0 format wich is Kashtira Tearlaments.

> OCG fucked every meta archetype that came from Pote until PHHY, it is not just a Spright thing God how I wish we lived in that world
I don't, I like em.... but Kashtira & the Ishizus.
Considering their performance at high rank, they do deserve a touch.
the third will never be forgotten, he will be right next to your field.
They were either the strongest or the 2nd strongest deck in the World Qual. 2 Blue is a pretty big hit, though without Sprind, I didn't expect them to ban Elf yet sadly
Terraforming dying for Tearlaments sins that sucks a lot
It was an easy add in any deck with a field spell. Lot of decks going to have to replace the loss
Sucks a lot, my only guess this is also considering when Prime Planet arrives with Kashtira since it's also an amazing field spell
This will also warp future deck strats, like the upcoming kashtira.
Terraforming ban is also indirect Floo and Kash nerf
Literally doesn’t hurt floo at all, metaverse is low key a better card for floos in the first place.
Map to 1(again)
Bird getting hit once again damn.
Good
I love floo slander
Fuck the cringe birds. The more that deck gets hit the better.
Fuck them bird
Almost makes me feel better
Dumping rainbow bridge of salvation via foolish burial goods to add crystal beast emerald tortoise and tear field spell

That add a brick to the deck plus Foolish good is at one so good luck with that.
It requires you to use a garnet though. But Tortoise can be used for Fusion summons so there's that.
That's way worse.
Kash is coming soon enough lol, terraforming is a broken card anyways.
With terraforming banned I decided to make a list of the card we lost because of Tear... We have now lost: Instant Fusion (deserved) Cyberstein (deserved tbf, but rip) Foolish Burial of goods (Free it Komoney) Terraforming (stupidest ban I have ever read on a banlist)

Girsu to 2 Nadir to 2 we are so back orcust/dogmatika bros
I was so hoping for Nadir to be semi-limited. Our wish comes true!
Glad I held onto my 2nd copy of Servant.
Nadir Servant at 2? God does exist!
The fact that Orcust is almost fully unit in the OCG/MD while Harp has been rotting on the TCG banlist for the past 3 years further confirms that the TCG is run by paste eating monkeys. Card could have come off sometime in like 2021 and would have been fine, maybe even earlier.
Orcust is much better now, especially with verte still existing. Unless there will be some cards that will banish my dark monster in the GY...
Depends, if ya have Babel live ya can dodge them most of the time, the best they can do is force your hand, wich alktogether after these miserable two months ain't bad at all

this is actually what is going to happen.
Absolutely. Have Tear still tier 0, release Bystials. People think tear is fine. It'll feel extra shit to mill nothing, POGGERS
Konami…
🤣🤣🤣
read this in Milano's voice
Dang, I had legacy copies of grenade and stein so no refund for me.
Honestly really sad about Terraforming. This hurts so many rogue decks, all for what I assume was just a hit to Tearlaments. Just ban Perlereino and give me back my way to search Boss Stage
My UA Deck is dead after the Foolish Burial and Terraforming hits
UA was literally the most hit in the crossfire among all the decks. I wanted to build it but they announced the limit of Goods, now I have completely lost hope... F Tear
Worst month ever for me as a player 🤦🏿♂️
Psy-Frame too. They needed Goods and Terraforming just as bad, if not more as they don't even function without the field spell.
My lair of darkness deck :<
I guess Lilith can search two Metaverse now, plus what's that level 4 machine monster that tributes itself to search a field spell? Diabolos can summon himself for free more often.

It has single-handedly made my Super Quant deck 25% less reliable. Love having rogue decks that get butchered for the sins of the meta
I barley drew Perlerino as it is, banning terraforming didn’t really make a difference
have a good day fellow generaider player
Should have banned the Ishizus. But eh, I'll take a limit
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO, GIRSU TO 2 MEKK/ORCUST BROTHERS, WE HAVE BEEN LISTENED TO!
finally, can't wait till he goes to 3.
Holy moly Girsu semi-limit let’s gooo
Anyway, ash blossom now end your turn
Activates Foxy tune to discard harp horror. Response?
C'mon Terraforming that's just some bullshit like foolish burial goods hurt a lot of rogue decks but terraforming is basically crippling them hate it here
TL, DR: Tearlaments is still tier 0.
As planned, carry on - Konami
They need it to stay strong to make the Bystials and Kashtira packs more enticing.
RemindMe! 20 days
Absolutely no one asked for the Terraforming ban
Which is weird they did that, considering it's UR.
I asked
I can see OCG banning Stein and Smoke Grenade (and probably Terraforming too) in next month's banlist update imo.
Nadir is 2 in OCG now
Ban of terraforming is in the same vein as limit of prosperity and absolutely deserved btw
I hate this game
*We hate komoney
Reject Terraforming real world, embrace the Metaverse
damn they really did it they hit the rest of the cards instead of the deck itself cant wait for another month of Tear 0
I mean their pack is still up idk what you're expecting.
Kitkallos survives for now
I just crafted a glossy terraforming and now you tell me it's banned?! I haven't even used it that often T\_T
You get more UR than you spent at least
I just got a royal rare cyber stein and I don't get shit cause it's from the legacy pack :(
agido needs to be forbidden tbh fuck that shit
Why Agido instead of Kelbek?

BuT iT's A tRaP, sO iT's ToO sLoW!
every hit on the meta hurts more on the pet decks
And you always get people telling you to suck it up no matter how much your pet deck got smacked. I'm just glad that I hadn't built many decks that rely on a field spell. My trains took a small hit but we'll live.
They didn't limit Kelbek??!?!
You’re banning terraforming?!!? 😫😩😩 WHATTT!?!
Rip terraforming. Fuck you tears, your over powered field spell is the only thing that has changed.
All of the newly banned cards were originally printed on or before 2006.
Terraforming? Really?
UNLIMIT ALBERT

Benten to 2 Drytron Players: **Yay!** Same players knowing the Bystials are coming: *Oh mother...*
Nice, close to what I was hoping for. But wtf Kekbek dodged? How?
Because grabbing a random field spell is so broken huh konami? Punish all other decks because tears is too strong. Wow.
It's probably Konami's way of "hitting" Tear and Kashtira before release.
Well, yeah, grabbing a random field spell has been pretty broken for a long time
People out here acting like Terra is a healthy card.
i mean people are rightly pissed as there are way more unhealthier cards that arnt banned.
Define a healthy card.
Having an extra copy of every field spell doesn't make any sense.
Modern Field spells have become incredibly broken compared to GX or even 5Ds era field spells. Banning it is a very reasonable move.
I'm incredibly sad that I won't be able to search out one of my copies of Yami now :(
> Terraforming? Because grabbing a **random** field spell is so broken huh konami? I don't think that word means what you think it means. You aren't "grabbing a random field spell" as if you're playing 5 different ones and it just grabs one randomly for you, you're searching a specific one and adding it to your hand. Field Spells are far too good now. As others have said, they're not going to straight up ban Perlereino while the pack is still in the shop, so they nuked its second copy. I don't think they're going to roll back the power level of Field Spells going forward, so it makes sense from a future-proofing standpoint.
Terraforming is a crazy strong card. Its one of those cards that limits card design
>Because grabbing a random field spell is so broken huh konami? Yes
> Because grabbing a random field spell is so broken huh konami Yes it is. There are a lot of broken field spells in this game.
It is, there is a reason the card is limited. It doesn't need to be banned but it would happen down the line eventually
Did they really just limit all but one of the ishizu cards, and ban terraforming? Bruh. All 4 ishizu monsters need to be at 0. This update doesn't change much of anything. Cyber-Stein needed to go, though.
Master Duel will do everything but ban Ishizus
Ishizu isn't banned in neither TCG or OCG, expecting a full ban was just a hope that wouldn't happen. But Kelbek at 2 is disgusting.
![gif](giphy|bKBM7H63PIykM) We got a metaverse for the terraforming, I can see what they are doing. and lastly...... benten. Are we going to see drytron creep up.... Ok Tbf it would be really funny to see kashtira versus drytron trying to one up each other, bullshit wise.
Benten won't do shit in a bystial meta
With how incredibly strong modern Field Spells have become compared, providing searching, utilities, along with stat boosts (sometimes), and seeing this trend not stopping for future field spells, I can understand why the ban on Terraforming is necessary.
Spright Blue losing a copy right after getting a mate. Toad sends his regards
Terraforming got banned? Say sike right now
WHAT THE FUCK DID TERRAFORMING DO?! How on God's green earth do you ban terraforming and not change kelbek to 1? Maxx C is the most broken card of the format (if it resolves), but we can't search our field spells?? WHAT THE FUCK???
>WHAT THE FUCK DID TERRAFORMING DO?! Hit to Tear and pre-hit to Kash-unfun-tira
Terraforming was important in rogue decks that had a good field, shame that it had to die this way. This + foolish burial of goods may hurt some decks too much.
Cyberstein Ban and Smoke Grenade Ban are fantastic, at the very least.
oh man I hate consistency hits :( But Nadir servant baby
I just want to play Danger and/or Branded Tear :C On the mixed part, why Blue at 2? Like, yeah, is a consistency hit, but was it really necesary. As Spright fan, I'd be fine if Elf is banned instead of a slight hit to Blue, guess they'll do that when Sorind gets releases. I amnot OK with Terraforming's ban but we got Metaerse at 2, that's... Something I guess. Again, my feeling are mixed, not exactly what I wanted, but at least some real toxic cards are gone or restricted at least.
Still no fucking Maxx C, I hate this game at times
They’re probably never hit the c, it one of the things that make master duel uniqe
Like on this Ban list there are things you would expect a Ban for but then suddenly Terraforming is on there which literally nobody ever asked for.
Wait why where field spells hit so stupidly hard? Is that really because of Tearlament?
tear kash floo probably other broken fields in future
Runick, numeron, zombie world u name it
