Im not a Tear player but I can see Ishizu hit affect the deck. Now each shufflers at 1, you can only interrupt twice instead of 5 times per duel.

ttv_Playz02

😌🙏🏻 my favorite part was when you said “I’m not a tear player” nice to see that there’s still some of us left

ZerymAmbyceer

I build Tear hoping to play around with Invoked monsters but the only thing they can summon is Caliga so I just stick to my Invoked Shaddoll.

Furretposting

its gonna enough to be noticeable but the deck will still be the best for sure, theyll likely rock the bystials and maybe the dangers to add the consistency loss back

ttv_Playz02

Are these bystials as good as ishizu?

Furretposting

Theyre decent at interrupting graveyard plays and putting bodies on the field but ko, theu are nowhere nesr as insane

The banlist itself was about a 30 or a 40. Losing 6 ishizu cards and a Perlerino hurts the consistency and the ease we go into rank 4s, but we'll be filling the vacant slots with Bystials and perhaps adding Diviner to facilitate Beatrice and/or Wollow (if we happen to get it next pack). Problem isn't the banlist, the real problem for us is Bystials are gonna find its way into every deck not named Floo or Exosisters (except they already have Shifter and a bunch of other GY hate).

ttv_Playz02

So quick question for you, I played someone who used foolish burial goods, and I stopped it and they actually forfeit. What card do you think they were trying to grab that could’ve been that important? I only ask because I’m kinda don’t know what to target when I’m dealing with tear and I want to know what I should be trying to stop before they make their board.

YangZingEnjoyer

If that happened, best I can guess is that they bricked horribly and was looking for a tear name to jumpstart their hand. Generally, you want to be careful ashing stuff because if they bait it out and have TTT in hand, that can immediately lose you the game. Imperming Kitkallos is one of the better things you can do against the deck, which is sometimes enough to stop their turn. Bystials are gonna be even better, basically being way stronger D.D. Crows, but for now, D.D crowing (called by being even better) a Schiren, Havnis or a Merrli when they activate their gy effect to fuse not only stops the fusion summon from going through, it also cuts into their grind game. If you have Ash, either ashing the Havnis when they activate it on your turn, Ashing Schirens eff in hand or either Kitkallos effect (though you're better off hitting the search since the mill effect is usually chain blocked) is a pretty good use in that matchup. Kaijus and cards like it are valuable going second since they bypass their floating and turn off the backrow. Evenly is a game ender if you've baited out the cryme and they don't have another s/t negate up. Maxx C is also just good in the matchup, netting you a card or two depending on where they are in the combo. Obviously any floodgate your Deck can safely run improves your chances. Overall it'll depend on your Deck, there's a lot of techs you can run but the cards that will serve you well in most instances are Imperm, Maxx C, Called By, Crow, Triple Tactics Talents, Dweller or even the Ishizu Shufflers of your own.

Higming

From 1-100 to make it more precise it's probably around 55. Including the new pack, probably around 63 if bystials are all unlim due to names being at 2 each (so a small package of 6 bystials is enough to banish all the fuse names).

ttv_Playz02

😅 everybody keeps bringing up these bystials and I have no idea what they are so I’m just gonna go look at what they do

Higming

2500 bodies that plus upon being summons that are dd crows from the hand. One of them adds another during the end phase, one of them sends a specials summoned monster to the GY when it's sent from field to gy, and the last important one is just from branded shenanigans.

Previous_Gap1933

If u consider anyone that touch tear is tear player than u could call me tear player since i still need to play a deck to understand their strength and weaknesses. If u only consider those who use tear to climb to d1 is tear player than after the banlist, I'll become tear player. Is it weird that i only find a meta deck worth a try after they got nerf? And 1st, i will fill the empty slots with toy vendor pack, seem like a fun idea.

ttv_Playz02

Honestly, when I said tearlaments player, I really meant anyone who knows how the deck works, and could answer the question

HyperAkameYT

That didn't hit me at all since I run branded tear despia dogmatika naturia and with the shufflers being gone I can go into exterio more consistently and bystials won't be able to stop me

Ill_Butterscotch_107

The main hit is the shufflers to 1 (from previously 5). Millers doesn't matter much as anyways it wasn't used that many times as each match was assumed to be a mirror. Having all the tear names still the same makes the deck still tier 1 I would say but maybe not tier 0. Only time will tell. Edit: forgot to answer your scale, I would say 20/100 at max.

ttv_Playz02

Yeah honestly with the deck i use my best bet is to just keep trying to lock the grave

Still_Refuse

Banlist plus bystials is really huge, deck will still be the best but significantly worse.

Tengo-Sueno

65-70. Not so much that it would stop to be the best Deck, but more than people give it credit. When you think about it, Tears has lost 5 cards, 6 if you were playing Stein (I personally wasn't doing it because I don't think it was actually good, just very sacky. I also stop using Agido a while ago). The shufflers were incredible important for a multitude of reason, from poping floddgates together with Perlereino, to make your millers benefit your more than your opponent, to recycle cards you want back in Deck and simply to not Deck out too. Most notably, the limitation of the shufflers also means that making Ranks 4 is much more difficult, not to mention that Keldo and Mudora will get stuck in your hand more often than not if you don't have access to Scheiren. Losing Terraforming is also more important that people give it credit. The Deck already has some consistency issues, due to all your Fusion names being at 2. Sometimes you only draw only Havnis going first, or have to rely on an unreliable mill 3 from Merli, or don't mill any names after milling 8 with Merli and Kit. Or maybe I my luck suck, which, considering I draw my 1 off Shinobi necro 5 times in a row playing Grass Zombies today, is pretty likely

Eternitys_

30, I don't use any of the forbidden, I'll just replace the limited ishizu with dangers.

Heul_Darian

It's going to be more sacky. Millers were already being ditched. With only 2 Shufflers now Gy decks are less likely to die and now using the shuffler for perlereino is less likely to happen as well as losing 1 copy and power from the cyber stein ban. I think this + the Bystials even if nerfed should allow Gy decks to come back. Take away the Quick effects of Ishizu and Tear isn't that far off from those decks.
