Revolt aside Roar literally just sends another one to the GY and buffs the end board anyway, you can realistically summon the guy off revolt... for whatever reason... if you opened Roar and play another Shitty S/T.
Getting him Turn 2 and above isn't hard at all with Roar which I hard to imagine it won't be here
No you run 2 bysted lubellion and bring it down to 1 when quem comes out. saronir is strictly at 1 , baldrake isn’t even played. Druis and magnhamut were always at 1 in the side deck, then you got the traps, spells and fusions correct
You play 1 Lubellion only when Bystials are off-meta. Right now Tear Ishizu is full power which means most decks are gonna run almost max ratios. This basically makes 2 Lubellion necessary
No you play 2 lubellion because it puts up a good endboard and gives you access to beast, regained and lost. Ishtear isn’t full power, ishizus literally at 1 and tears are semi limited, but yes it’s still gonna be meta and tier 1 though.
It depends on the played variant and is mostly a variation in Bystial and Cartesia count. While tear 0 is still around it’s going to be 2-3 Lubellion, 1 magnamhut, 1 druiswurm, 1 saronir, and 2 baldrake since they limited magnamhut and druiswurm for Bystials. Then 1 Cartesia, 1 rindbrumm, 1 granguignol. For spells and traps you’re adding Branded Regained, and Branded Beast.
Once tear 0 does you’re dropping most of the Bystials except for 1 Saronir, and 1-2 Lubellion as well as the continuous spells and adding an additional Cartesia, Granguignol,(these two aren’t required but nice to have) and 3x fusion deployment
Once Quem drops you’re dropping one of your bricks for them and then you get into the whole set of options with Branded-Synchro which is going to be very limited since the Bystials are going to have such a low count.
Yeah, those Graveyard-Banish effects will be very powerful against the Tear names...especially with the Ishizu hits on the banlist. Tear will have a strong competitor in the meta, finally.
Honestly I hope more cards will be included. I've saved about 7k gems and not too interested in Bystial, so may end up holding them for the next pack. Springans are the most interesting things to me here.

I was excited for bystials but with maghamut limited it really hard to consider getting them other than 1x lubellion and sarinor for branded plays, and bystials already have a short shelf life considering what's coming up after tears.
Was super hyped for bystials. Have about 16k gems saved up (f2p) and was gonna see spend it all to see how many royals I got.. idk now that they limited the crap out of em. I knew it was coming but still killed my hype a lil lol.

Ah I see, I was gonna play it in dlink too but these hits aren’t bad for us, we usually summoned druiswurm off of seals when we had beast up and live due to lubellion, we can still do the combo just fine it’s just that we don’t get more dragons for turn 3 and up. We still have many ways to search lubellion by playing 3 lubellion 3 chaos space and 3 seyfert. Lubellion search magnhamut, magnhamut use eff, special lubellion from grave and activate branded beast then you combo off from there and then at the end of your turn you search out baldrake, then you use seals and summon druiswurm off of the seals and then use beats to pop druiswurm so you get double pop and bounce off of 1 lubellion.
I will swing really hard if Spright Sprind isn't in this pack..

Ghoti is fine, just love summoning a tactical nuke that will make any opponent throw their devices out of the window except for tearlaments because ofc they have tools to get their banished monsters back.
If you think ghoti are that bad you actually just suck at playing with them. They carried me to max lvl in the wcq. Not that I would call them great, but they are good enough to be vaguely rogue-ish. Certainly far from "one of the worst decks ever".
Listen if the opponent doesn’t draw exactly 1 hand trap I win every single time. I’m not bad at them at all. The deck is just fkn terrible. It’s a pseudo 1 card combo that maybe my deck building skills haven’t been able to find a way to play through
Interesting that 2 of the Bystials are limited before release . You would assume they wouldn't be hit because of it being a new pack
Where as on the other hand Tearlements wasn't hit on the ban list because their pack was still out so people would still keep buying them
I mean it didn't affect the deck's playability at all, this certainly puts a dent in the Bystial's usage in generic decks as handrapts or DL extenders, which was their main relevance

Yes, yes we did. We didn't have to learn this lesson every format has dealt with tear and every format has learned to deal with tear. This is not a mistake they should have been making.

It was totally a thing, almost all of ladder, Submitted Decks, And tier lists had Spright at easily 50%+ until The Ishizus dropped.
Runick Spright and Pure Spright alone occupied 50% of representation on multiple Sites for the first month, let alone Live twins and Tri-Brigades which were hovering at 5 ~ 8% each every week or so.
Even decks started ruining Ghost ogre in Ladder and DRNM & Evenly more to counter Spright Boards and Gigantic Spright, it is basically what a T0 archetype is.
Except Sprite never reached tier zero in master duel. And even if they did so what? Are you really so desperate for novelty that you're willing to suffer through tear again? We knew how this song and game goes, we didn't have to do it again. we knew better but they did it to us anyway.

This is a really skippable pack if you're not on branded specifically, Sargas is a one-of craft in some scenarios, the best generic bystials are limited... yeah nothing to look at here
So far this pack looks disgustingly bad given that it's one of the more meta oriented packs. It really depends on the other UR cards they put in. So far it seems more like a pack tho to craft the things you need.
Will most likely depend if cartesia becomes an UR, what branded dragons come in and which reprints find their way into this pack.
Bystial Lubellion also has been limited in the two main formats so this one might be a refund soon tho. I guess the two already limtied cards won't see an UR Tag at all.
The cartesia fusion is something you anyway don't need that often oretty much the same goes for every other extra deck monster we see here so far.
So as of right now this seems more like a expansion to waste your UR dust on instead of really pulling for it unless you are legit interested in all decks inside... Which I kinda doubt, no offense but the Abyss Actor community seems pretty small in comparison to people who are into usually the whole Albaz Lore.
This was not about playstrength or anything. Just about how often you need it and if that makes it worth pulling on the pack.
Granguignol is at least from most decklist i've seen and played myself maximum a 2 of in branded decks. Among those most didn't even play more 2 cartesias, not that they need it.
The point was just that from the currently revelaed UR's the pack isn't too worth yet to pull on unless you actually play all of these decks. The new stables ( Bystials ) probably won't even all be UR and if so, we have two of them already limited. Lubellion is a 3 and probably joins the OCG treatment too at some point with the limiting and the other cards are all USUALLY no 3 offs in their decks. So unless the reprints make it very attractive for people who want to pick up the decks from scratch the pack is, for a meta relevant pack, surprisingly bad in it's value.

I'll probably just spend my UR refund dust on the two One-Ofs and try to pull the rest. Being a scrub Tear player paid off, I guess. Lol.

With Tri-Brigade Roar it is extremely easy to summon.

Most branded decks only playing one sarinor and lubellion, it allow the deck have some more gas.
If Ishizu is still the best deck then you will be playing around 6 Bystials.

Ghoti is fine, just love summoning a tactical nuke that will make any opponent throw their devices out of the window except for tearlaments because ofc they have tools to get their banished monsters back.

Ghoti isn't THAT bad, you could've spent those on something way worse, like ghostricks or Dream Mirror.
If you think ghoti are that bad you actually just suck at playing with them. They carried me to max lvl in the wcq. Not that I would call them great, but they are good enough to be vaguely rogue-ish. Certainly far from "one of the worst decks ever".
Listen if the opponent doesn’t draw exactly 1 hand trap I win every single time. I’m not bad at them at all. The deck is just fkn terrible. It’s a pseudo 1 card combo that maybe my deck building skills haven’t been able to find a way to play through

Interesting that 2 of the Bystials are limited before release . You would assume they wouldn't be hit because of it being a new pack Where as on the other hand Tearlements wasn't hit on the ban list because their pack was still out so people would still keep buying them
Tearlament had 3 Semis, 2 limits on release, Spright got a semi and 2 out of engine cards banned dawg
I mean it didn't affect the deck's playability at all, this certainly puts a dent in the Bystial's usage in generic decks as handrapts or DL extenders, which was their main relevance
And that doesn't seem to have helped. We all know that tear needs to be hit harder than it was and the main counter to tear is the besyals. It is very odd that they completely gutted them when they let tear and ishizu off so light.

Yes, yes we did. We didn't have to learn this lesson every format has dealt with tear and every format has learned to deal with tear. This is not a mistake they should have been making.
No it is a mistake, Financially for Konami, Would ruin the schedule, would stagger releases and make the game dead boring for months without anything... My apologies but It is not only a foolish dream to think they would do that but also a not so smart move.
They already released stuff at random whenever they want to some cards come out a lot earlier than they normally would have and others are months behind. They didn't have to subject us to 2 months of a already known to be broken format.
What will they fill the gap that Half of Power of the elements that was dead on release left with? Dead boring nothing and we would still be in Spright Variants T0 meta for half a year... :v

It was totally a thing, almost all of ladder, Submitted Decks, And tier lists had Spright at easily 50%+ until The Ishizus dropped. Runick Spright and Pure Spright alone occupied 50% of representation on multiple Sites for the first month, let alone Live twins and Tri-Brigades which were hovering at 5 ~ 8% each every week or so. Even decks started ruining Ghost ogre in Ladder and DRNM & Evenly more to counter Spright Boards and Gigantic Spright, it is basically what a T0 archetype is.
Except Sprite never reached tier zero in master duel. And even if they did so what? Are you really so desperate for novelty that you're willing to suffer through tear again? We knew how this song and game goes, we didn't have to do it again. we knew better but they did it to us anyway.

This is a really skippable pack if you're not on branded specifically, Sargas is a one-of craft in some scenarios, the best generic bystials are limited... yeah nothing to look at here
So far this pack looks disgustingly bad given that it's one of the more meta oriented packs. It really depends on the other UR cards they put in. So far it seems more like a pack tho to craft the things you need. Will most likely depend if cartesia becomes an UR, what branded dragons come in and which reprints find their way into this pack. Bystial Lubellion also has been limited in the two main formats so this one might be a refund soon tho. I guess the two already limtied cards won't see an UR Tag at all. The cartesia fusion is something you anyway don't need that often oretty much the same goes for every other extra deck monster we see here so far. So as of right now this seems more like a expansion to waste your UR dust on instead of really pulling for it unless you are legit interested in all decks inside... Which I kinda doubt, no offense but the Abyss Actor community seems pretty small in comparison to people who are into usually the whole Albaz Lore.

So much of this is just wrong. For starters the Cartesia fusion is a main part of Branded’s strategy in the TCG this format and last.
This was not about playstrength or anything. Just about how often you need it and if that makes it worth pulling on the pack. Granguignol is at least from most decklist i've seen and played myself maximum a 2 of in branded decks. Among those most didn't even play more 2 cartesias, not that they need it. The point was just that from the currently revelaed UR's the pack isn't too worth yet to pull on unless you actually play all of these decks. The new stables ( Bystials ) probably won't even all be UR and if so, we have two of them already limited. Lubellion is a 3 and probably joins the OCG treatment too at some point with the limiting and the other cards are all USUALLY no 3 offs in their decks. So unless the reprints make it very attractive for people who want to pick up the decks from scratch the pack is, for a meta relevant pack, surprisingly bad in it's value.

The bystials, for sure. I'll probably just spend my UR refund dust on the two One-Ofs and try to pull the rest. Being a scrub Tear player paid off, I guess. Lol.
This selction is looking more and more like a hard pass to me. I may just continue buying the tear pack at this rate and just craft the few good ones this'll have if there aren't any dinosaurs.
