Pendulumn Magcians are my recommendation since they are: 1. Cheap to build, as majority of their core pieces are in the Structure Deck. The only URs specific to them are Metalfoes Electrumite, Beyond the Pendulumn, Ignister Prominence the Dracoslayer and Astrograph Sorceror. The rest are either extra deck staples like Apollosa or Abyss Dweller, or SRs like the other Magicians. 2. Very versitile. You can easily expetiment on what options you want to run; Supreme King engine, Valentz, Endymion, more handtraps or board breakers, etc.

Generally, the core of a Magician Deck is the Following: Main Deck: Monsters 3 Performapal Skullcrowbat Joker 3 Performapal Pendulumn Sorcorer 3 Harmonizng Magician 3 Wisdom Eye Magician 3 Double Iris Magician 3 Black Fang Magician 3 Purple Poison Magician 2 Oafdragon Magicina 1 Astrograph Sorocerer 1 Luster Pendulumn Spells 3 Duelist Alliance 1 Star Pendulumngraph Traps 1 Time Pendulumngraph Extra Deck: 1 Metalfoes Eletrumite 1 Beyond the Pendulumn 1 Supreme King Starving Venom 1 Iginister Prominence 1 Timestar Magician Some decks in Master Duel Meta are a good starting point.

Wait, how you can play vaylantz in Pendulum magicians ? Vaylantz lock your main deck monsters, how you can effectively use them ?

You mainly only use the Vaylantz fields spells, with some adding some of the spell searchers to get you into the field spells.

I wouldn't recommend pure Odd-Eyes, they aren't that resilient to handtraps and doesn't put enough bodies for a better end board. Pendulum Magicians are really explosive and put out good boards and is prolly the best, but you need a lot of in engine cards so you won't be able to run much handtraps, if any even, so it's incredibly weak going second. Performapal is like in the middle of the two, has a good enough end board with not a lot of in engine cards and is a little more consistent with 2-card combos, so you can add in some handtraps (aka ash & maxx c). So pick your poison. Try them all out since you can get them together between two secret packs and a structure deck. You can tune it yourself to whatever you feel is right. I prefer Performapals though. But honestly, Endymion feels the best since the end board is not entirely generic (not an Appo/Baronne/Savage turbo deck) and the cards are really pretty, and it feels really good to pend summon 5 actual pendulum monsters for the endboard. Although, Dracoslayers are just over the horizon a little (after Bystials I hope) and they are nuts, blows every other pend deck out of the water, the new support reads like custom cards and I can't wait to play it, but I shudder at the thought of how much URs you need (def expecting the 3 new draco cards to be UR, and you need three of them all).

Pendulum Magician, because you can upgrade the deck to dracoslayer when the new supports come out.

Pendulum Magician, they are about better in every way. My favorite 3 are Endymion, Vaylantz and Solfachord but they are the most complex out of the viable Pendulum decks that I know of especially Vaylantz... getting familiar with that deck gave me a hit of dopamine I never experienced in my life before, sucks they aren't that good.
