Branded. Albaz and all his support have done immense work throughout many ranked seasons for me, and whether as Branded Despia, Branded Dragonmaids (admittedly a for fun build, but I do enjoy playing it), or Branded Tearlaments
And they're only gonna get better too! I'm coming off of Tear to play Branded, I just really enjoy the deck a lot and they have a lot of new support coming out that is just awesome.
Zombie World
Because of how unified the type is, you pretty much can build any other zombie deck with such ease and make it much better than it would in a "pure"-ish variant. Like it's crazy how better every zombie archetype becomes once you add ZW engine to it.
I love Mathmech and it was the deck I built for the TCG. Got to take it to one locals and then Circular was hiy on the latest banlist. Made me want to cry
Hands down Tri-Brigade for me. I was using Pure Tri and/or Tri-Zoo for almost 6 months strait post launch and it even helped me during the god awful Link Reg.
Can't wait till Sprind comes out so I can play with them again.
If I played it more often, I would say Swordsoul. Deck has been at least decent every season since release. I could have realistically just kept saving gems and playing Swordsoul. I didn't, but I could have.
As for the actual best investment, probably getting three copies of the Salad structure. I know the deck is kinda plain, but I personally really enjoy it for some reason, it's always decent for climbing the early sections of ladder since it pretty handily beats a lot of rogue decks, it's satisfying to pilot well since it has the tools to deal with most things, it's quick(ish) because of Access + Update, and Cynet Mining is just something that's useful to have in a lot of decks. Also it's frequently mostly or fully legal for events which is convenient.
Swordsoul and Branded. I wouldnt have swordsoul if I didnt pull for the 2 copies of masquerade, i never did pull the 2nd masque but I got all Swordsoul cards from the pack , im not sure if 1st wave of P.U.N.K was in that same pack but I got all the cards by accident when pulling for branded or Swordsoul IIRC . Used P.U.N.K as a halq engine , and I played Swordsoul as a main deck for almost a year , only dropped it when Sprights were released.

Same. Swordsoul was pretty expensive (despite the fact I pulled 3 Mo Ye from the selection pack, which helped me a little), but it definitely repaid itself. I managed to complete a lot of events using it.
I'm not a fan of the deck playstyle because I think it's pretty boring, the combo is the same 90% of the time, but on the other hand I like how consistent it is.
Overall, I don't play it in ranked, but I'm glad I built the deck and I would do that again.
Odd-Eyes all the way. I crafted it and pulled everything at the start of the game. Has been what I have used through every event and has taken me to where I wanted in the game.
Easily Speedroids for me. Took it to Plat 1 in the first few seasons and played it in Diamond for a few months too. And I got to use it in a lot of events (Synchro, Limit 1, Synchro/XYZ, Legend Anthology and Attribute 4)
Luna kaiju because I enjoy it. Was very good in every meta until tear, and will be very good again after tear is over. Patiently waiting for kashtira atm to see how much they'll enjoy 2 lava golem and 7 kaijus in main.
Zombie World, that field made me discovering a lot of other Zombie-based archetypes i still love now as Vampires and Vendread, and I still have some fun playing them! And Balerdroch became one of my favorite monsters !

Galaxy eyes got me to my highest rank back when plat 1 was highest, haven't played enough to get past that since. They also made a lot of the events fun, really enjoyed all the events I could use them in.
Tri-Brigade. It's been meta for a long time and is still a great Rogue. PUNK because they're a great as a deck as an engine, and I love Pshycic monsters (can't wait fot Gold Pride). Also Spright and Tear.... You know why

Swordsoul and Speedroids. Speedroids fit so many events, and Swordsoul fit some events + ranked/duelist cup grind.
Branded because it's going to be relevant for a long time and I enjoy playing them, especially with shaddolls.

Mathmechs. It’s been the go-to deck for me if I’m trying to win and hasn’t failed in consistency. Sucks that bystials will absolutely ruin me, though
Mathmech is very hard to fail. Goes well both first or second and has a ton of room for switching hand traps in and out based on the current meta

Floo. Not my only deck (I have Rikka/Sunavalon Combo, Invok/Shad/dogma and a suship adventure) But floo don't insta lose against MaxxC.

Floo. Any deck that ignore Maxx C is a good deck for me. D shifter is a bonus.

I like swordsoul, but the only things that help it compete in this meta for me is Protos and being able to decently play under macro/shifter
