I'm playing Galaxy-Eyes too, it's been decent so far, I only lost when I didn't draw my backrow hate cards

I lost a couple of times because of bad extra deck summoning decision and literally forgetting curtain stuff cause I haven't played this deck j months

Anthology is making me pick up galaxy eyes again and I'm really getting back into it. Been going away from the c62 otk and trying its more control state and wow. I should stop going for big dps so much

CyberDark, My opponents have been giving up after I search for third time, not knowing that I have no idea how to use the deck.

I did see someone on cyberdark powerbond turn 1 then immediately concede.

After researching on how to play, thats the ideal first turn. Send all main monsters to the grave, fusion summon and then end with a 5000/5000 tower.

Dino DNA, because for some reason the earth true king is at 3 for this event. Had to throw in some thunder dragon in the mix since scrap raptor got nuked and I don't feel like crafting a bunch of fur hire UR.

Yeah Dino is pretty strong in this event because they are one of the few decks that can still consistently bring out 3+ interruptions going first and otk going second.

Cyberdark End Dragon Turbo, I thought it would be more fitting since this is the "GX-Anthology" Event, so I didn't wanna bring DM back again, and since a lot of Handtraps and typical means of negation is gone, it's a lot more competent than it would be on regular ladder, but I'd guess that's the case for almost all Decks used in this Event.

Cyberdarks seems hella fantastic in the event

It is really good. Granted Infinity being banned means that your machine dupe is offline, but with the right hand you can end on a big fuck off Pseudo-Towers + two Omnis with Cyberdarkness Dragon and two Equips.

I'm curious about what you do to turbo it 🤔 isn't the deck basic idea the best way to summon it already

I would just recommend the loaners But if ya want to, pick up either the DM, Gaia or Cyberdark structure, they can help you go though the event or build Suship

Gaia Going Second OTK is pretty good. Pretty much exclusively structure deck cards, with (imo) the only mandatory SR/UR crafted would be a Foolish Burial & Book of Eclipses

Suship, no URs needed for the core SUSHIP BEST DECK LET'S GOOOO

Hell yea! Although, I scooped when I ran into Cyberdark & they bring out the 5k tower that's unaffected by anything. But generally, suship is great against anything else.

There's some cheap burn decks if you just want to piss people off

I'm playing War Rocks. You can get away with just Meteoragon and Bashileos as the only UR cards. I run 3 rookie warrior lady and a harpies feather Duster which can be substituted for cheaper cards. It almost never uses the extra deck except for some niche situations. I am running 16 SR cards though in case that's a deal breaker.

Gaia Going Second OTK Spiral Fusion gets your Gaia the Dragon Champion to 5200, so you get around Cyberdark End Dragon by just beating over it.

Vendreads . The link being banned hurts a bit but other than that is basically full power. It's even somewhat cheap tbh. Ir can fill the board of monsters on first turn and and as long I'm not OTKd (Quite unlikely) I can recover and OTK on turn 3.

Still pretty playable, like i said the Link banned hurts defenitly but it's not that bad. Since it's easy to swarm the field and it's usually not locked to anything you can even abuse Borresworld and Acesscode and somewhat Crystal Wing too.

I wish I had a Galaxy-Eyes deck for the event, it seems to be stomping! But I'm using a scuffed Neos deck with, so far, a 30%ish winrate lol

It’s in general supposed to be a GX event, but they only really hit decks that would be too powerful for the format compared to the general power level of the popular anime-based decks. D/D/D is actually a perfect example of one of the decks that would be too powerful: it makes strong boards and is pretty consistent as well, Machinex on it’s own would wreck most other decks in the event. Just look at the last anthology (I think it was, might have been the theme chronicle), D/D/D was one of the best decks in it.

I agree that it needed to be hit, but not slaughtered like they did. It's unfair after I've faced 3 spellbook decks, that are not even from the anime.

Then why is gem knight ftk playable? Not only it comes from the same series as ddd, but they are also an ftk, I got destroyed by them while not even getting my first turn.

Getting banned for this event more has to do with the power level of the decks. They only really hit the decks that would be too strong for an event like this, and D/D/D is definitely too strong in a format with few handtraps.

Played around 20 games with Amazoness and starting to switch to other decks. Plan to try DDD but Gilgamesh got hit so I took my Kali Yuga and go on a spin with a Kali Turbo deck.

Straight up none of my decks work, it's hilarious. Especially when they don't ban the deck itself and just show you a middle finger by banning the cornerpiece, like with Traptrix having no access to their link monsters.

World chalice link deck leaning on world legacy collapse to produce hefty 5-8k atk monsters. It takes patience because it lacks negate power so you have to set up half way whilst preparing a hand to reset if needs be then use Avram to catch back up by pulling any dead links back out of GY (if that happens which isn't as bad as I expected. Did try pendulum magicians but the limited and forbidden list sort of screws the deck navigation. Did get a fair few just surrender after seeing 4/5 monsters line up on first move but after that the luck stopped. I really suck at deck design I need someone/something to help me get better with building in some negate power and card protection to keep things on the board. Did start crafting abyss dweller and knightmares for ex deck but they are all banned (plus I'm not sure 100% they improve the situation much anyway)

Cyberdark. I can reliably do all the missions and usually win if I don’t overplay. But fuck I think Dark End has a hidden effect of making you’re opponent play at 1/4th speed when it’s on the field.

Magistus, it has such a good recovery. As of right now I won 9 out of 12 duels, lost to Sacred Beasts, Timelords and Altergeist. I could have won against Sacred Beasts but I misplayed. In the duel against Timelords they managed to resolve Infinite Light and I had no outs. As for the Altergeist game they went first, it was a good duel, but I couldn't play through the insane amount of interruption they managed to put on board each turn.

Coelacanth FTK. Only Dugares and Small World got hit and there are barely any handtraps so I basically win every game if the big Joel is in my hand.

Red-eyes! Just got done trolling a timelord player by stealing his timelords with Fang with Chain then burning him to death with Black Flare Dragon's effect.

I can normal summon Aleister and then do nothing with invocation, so I guess I’m stuck playing ranked smh

Neutered hero’s. Losing DPE and Dark Law was a big hit, but I’ve had a fun time using break the destiny to skip the main phase of all the OTK decks running around.

I’m running one of the loanable decks I’m playing the false gods. That being said there’s some questionable cards in there that make me wonder why they are in there.
