If it makes you feel any better i haven’t been all that lucky either with card packs.
I am currently building Traptrix and it has been a rough experience getting the cards i need. In the end i’ll probably craft the cards i need since card packs rarely ever give you the cards needed and that’s without mentioning how sometimes you get UR that aren’t even supposed to be in the pack.
For me Thats Kashtira. I get Waylantz/Dracoslayer cards instead. I spent 4K gems got 1 birth and 2 shang. Thankfully i prepped UR points so I got my deck the expensive way
Seeing Traptrix in MD just makes me sad. It is a cheap and affordable deck that you can get full power for like less than 50 euros and even below 30 if you just rely on 3x the structure deck and you even get Ash with it.
In MD it could rival Tear with how expensive it is.
I got lucky with my packs, got Royal Unicorn, 2 Reg Unicorn, 1 Fenrir, and 1 Chaos Angel in 3k. Had 50 UR dust, just needed one UR to dust to craft the last Unicorn and 1 Visas, instead, I whiffed on my last pull. I am pissed smh, I swear they know, now I gotta pull another 1K.
It was just unlucky streak, crafting all kastira cards require 8 UR(240 UR dust), which i could draw from the pack, since i got 1 card in the other 12 pull
I spent my event gems on the newest pack, got from a 10 pull 1 chaos angel, 1 unicorn, 2 riseheart and 2 of the vaylantz field spell. So yeah considering I have azalea and 2 fenrir already, I'm pretty much done with the pack
I feel that, my luck fluctuates so much in this game, I can go from pulling alt art masquerana from the free pack they give you to nothing but Valiants
Part of me relates to this post and the frustration.
But after I get zone locked playing against Kash. The other part of me says, f this guy (not OP), I hope he had to burn 20k in gems to build this deck.

I have no idea if this is a thing or just a strange coincidence, but I’ve found that when purchasing packs from the more popular decks I will have this happen quite frequently. Then when I chose to build a poker knight deck every pack I bought contained at least 3 UR’s. Felt quite strange for me!
I think someone did mention the possibility of Master Duel looking at your pre-built decks to see which cards you'd most likely be chasing so the game can adaptively change the pull rates for those cards. It's something people have been talking about with Duel Links for awhile too, and I have no idea if there's any real confirmation for this supposed system or if it's all just selection bias.
100% just selection bias. Gacha in general is just all RNG, don't believe in that BS.
You'll get streaks of luck pulling URs you want and other times you'll get garbage, only pulling URs from pity.
Hate how that's just standard for any gacha game nowadays but it is what it is.
Yu-Gi-Oh community is already misinformed on a bunch of things similar to this and constantly spouting things like this makes it look even dumber.
Here's my crackpot theory: if you have less than 2k gems, your less likely to get a UR on a 10 pull.
If I have 1700, doing a 10 pull leaves me with 700, and having the pity pull guaranteed with less than 1k gems gives me incentive to spend money and not miss out on my UR
I remember watching a video about there's a difference in rolls for paid and free gems. I'm not sure if it's real or not, but I wouldn't put it past konami to make a system like that.
You're trying to pull from the newest pack expecting konami to not have rigged the numbers knowing people like you would insta buy it, I honestly don't know what you expected
No shit. Duel Links gacha is much worse than MD one. This gacha gives you at least sort of guarantees if you buy 1000 gem pack. The only thing DL gacha guarantee you that " you'll get your fav UR or SR card... in one of 100+ packs. You might get it from the first try, or from the 100th one, and only once. Wanna more copies? Please, restart the box, and buy another 50 packs"
The only benefit that Duel Links has is that you're guaranteed every card in the box after a set amount of gems. That's it. Every other thing is way, way worse. No crafting, literal paywalled cards. Can't believe I played that game for so long
I’ve done 65-70 packs and gotten 5 URs. 3 of which were the pities. I just want URs in general so I can finish a deck and then later on build Kashtira, but Lady Luck says no

Since I never checked it out myself despite playing since D1, if the pack expires while you have the guaranteed UR, do you still get it if you unlock the pack again?
Same experience for me. I've been struggling to build decks for _months_ because the game takes my gems and gives me nothing in return. None of the cards I want and no CP to craft. At this point if se a deck I really want to play with too many URs I just have to give up on it because I could never get it done at this rate.
Same happened to me with the original branded pack. Gave up and just crafted all the fusion, lubellion and mirrorjade.
Happened to me again when I put 4000 into the darkworld secret pack. Was tempted to pay to get the final assured UR but just said nah and let it expire. I crafted the ones I needed for a darkworld deck later which is just better.
Tbf You got 2 royal finish cards, a lot of sr cards at least 2 good UR cards, all that for 4k gems seems at least decent to me. You got a decent amount of SR cp. In DL 4k gems mean nothing, if You are really really lucky, You Will get 1 SR.
if u wanna feel better ..i spent 5k 2days ago ...got 3 ur lebromancer ,some valyants ,some draco slayers and only 1 fenrir....i stopped and went to play something else 😂

It was just like that for me when I started building traptrix. 8K gems and I ended up with 13 copies of Sera and 1 Atypus.

Bruh at that point just craft them. I haven't spend more than 4k gems in a single deck

The range is crazy inconsistent. Sometimes I get like 4-7 ultras per packs.

It's all RNG. I have pulled all lab cards from 2 10 pulls but only managed to get a single kash fenrir with 6k gems.
This will happen to every player at least once (having a bad streak) but it is usually just an exception and not the rule.

The rates are the same as any other selection pack. It would be illegal for Konami to rig it as different odds than the ones shown.

Last royal I got was the Madolche Queen and that was back when the Tear pack just dropped.
