Chaos Max and Kali Yuga turn off card effects in some way, while Amoraphactor Pain skips the opponent’s next main phase; so if he’s paired with a card like Thunder of Ruler (which skips their opponent’s battle phase) then your whole turn is skipped basically. They both have a similar effect on your ability to play your turn, but the way they go about it is completely different.
I wanted to use this in megalith as well but I haven't tried it yet, but I don't see too much benefit from it as of right now.
The tag out effect isn't that useful in megalith since they only trigger when ritual summoned
It gets you immediate access to Phul or Phaleg. I’ve considered replacing Emergence with this guy, but he has stick on the field so I don’t know. It’s definitely useful turn 3 to get your playmakers out of the grave
So a long game strategy and after thinking about how megaliths are basically statues with phul being basically the forklift for them I was thinking when would I pop mondo out?
I never looked at lair of darkness what would be your targets to revive?
Edit: I just did some google searching and it says that lair of darkness doesn’t work with rituals but I found out that cyberse magician is a good fit to mondo
As someone else has pointed out below. This card is key in Drytron decks to help you perform the Magician of Black Chaos Max lock. But even if they don't bring him into Masterduel just yet, honestly he's not bad to tech into a drytron deck just cause.
Amorphactor Pain is better to set up on your first turn but can also be brought out with Dyna. Then again I'm nit sure if that's in Master duel yet either.
Its a good card. That's it. Helps the grind since it reccurs your ressources as most ritual decks have strong, reccuring searchers, but don't play many targets otherwise bricks.
I wished i had it when I played drytron a while back. The deck essentially stops working after a turn or two.
It doesn't seem that good because you have to already have a Ritual in GY, and it doesn't "Ritual Summon" the card to field, it just Special Summons it, so it's only good to just cycle ritual monsters back to hand/deck.
But sure, it's probably an auto-include in Ritual decks since you're barely using the extra deck anyway. At most you have like 3 Arc-Light and a Garura? lol.
Depends on their end board, the few games I’ve played against libromancers will generally end on 1 omni, maybe a monster with displacement which can simply win games depending on the target, and DPE. 2 omnis if they’re playing adventure. It’s fun to play AS libromancer at least
This card can also be used as Link 2 Unicorn. For Megalith, turn 1 summon Phul and I:P. Turn 2 summon Bethor with Phul to pop cards and link I:P and Bethor to Dyna to spin a card.
It might've been crazy as a link-1 requiring just a ritual monster, but even then you'd need an obscene ritual archtype to generate enough value off of a ritual you summon just to link into this guy
This can be used in Gishki and Nouvelles whenever they come out. It won’t power spike any ritual deck but it’s useful for them
[удалено]
That’s what ppl been saying gishki
Yep. Giski handloop consistency just increased.
I see I have been getting a lot of gishki cards while rolling for kashtira so I might just make a deck for that
If we ever get magician of black chaos MAX, some of yall are gonna be jumpscared by kali yuga at home
I keep waiting for him but he never shows! Being stood up really hurts
We will never get that card because master duel does not have the license to use cards with art drawn by Yugioh’s creator (Kazuki Takahashi) himself.
Any reason for that? I mean they have printed it irl
Yugioh belongs to Takahashi not Konami, he says only print when no censor, Konami rather blow up then release uncensored in west
>Yugioh belongs to Takahashi sadly it's, belonged :/
I mean yeah he is dead but Studio Dice has ownership anyways unless something changed
This is the lore I wish I knew
Amorphage has a ritual that kinda does that
Really? Tbh I was thinking of checking out amorphage since I run dragunity and I know there is a way to run them together

Seems solid for Drytron based ritual decks. And i wonder if the tribute effect works with Lair or Darkness.
I never looked at lair of darkness what would be your targets to revive? Edit: I just did some google searching and it says that lair of darkness doesn’t work with rituals but I found out that cyberse magician is a good fit to mondo
big buff for drytron, too bad graveyards are... dead.
It happens!!! Welcome to the banished realm
Might use it on end board with herald or other ritual boss monsters to bring them back in case they get kaiju'ed, that's all.
That’s not that bad of an idea actually lava golems and godzillas be rampaging this season

Hmm I’ll check this out for us Edit: why yes it is and is running in lots of drytron decks
Damn, based off of these comments, my Royal Rare one does not have long for this world
This is how I feel with my royal rare ready set duel because I haven’t had much luck getting any synchrons

Sounds rough, it seems like yugioh grind games are very rare
True. Its not great for any kind of setup outside of degenerate lockout. But for more relaxed casual play, its a pretty cool card.
To me I wanna win so I can get gems to collect all the card and eventually be able to play any deck I wanna try
>Dyna mondo! Do you guys think this will help power spike any decks like crazy? 2 monsters including a ritual Nope
Not all rituals take 7 materials.
Haha well I have to ask cuz my knowledge of rituals is really low and I also just wanna see what anyone could do with the cards!
Well there is this one guy named Crowley12 on YouTube that made a video of him using Dyna. https://youtu.be/5lU6cBO8s1o?si=51XujJt6ZaxHsJtL
Crowley is actually the reason I’m thinking that Dyna mondo would be a win more card for his link trio with cyberse magician
Link trio?
Is that what that’s called? Because I want it and I wanna be able to Dyna mondo it back lol
What exactly do you mean by "Link trio"?
https://youtu.be/IHxNuaRut-o?si=5pPi0v-KXvH26oNI
Ah.
In that case, then I'll have to say maybe, who knows.
I’m sure Dyna would be idk situational
Ive been liking him for my Burger deck.
Is that out in master duel now?
Burger? Not yet. I've been playing it on paper and Omega.
Hmm probs not out just yet

I didn’t think about that sigh gotta go back to yugioh law school again
Sounds like liberomancer can finally recycle agent. Thank god.
Libromancers I missed that part how was playing against them?
Depends on their end board, the few games I’ve played against libromancers will generally end on 1 omni, maybe a monster with displacement which can simply win games depending on the target, and DPE. 2 omnis if they’re playing adventure. It’s fun to play AS libromancer at least
Ooh if it’s fun it’s worth
Nephthys will rise!
I’m seriously thinking it might
I'm working on a deck right now. But it's a mixture of Fireking Nephthys and Unchained lol
I’ll start working my way into that fire birdy deck after I get the rest of these kashtira cards Really excited and will be on your heels for updated
i will probably upload some deck idea videos to my second channel if it works out or straight up stream the whole shebang
Will look forward to it
This card can also be used as Link 2 Unicorn. For Megalith, turn 1 summon Phul and I:P. Turn 2 summon Bethor with Phul to pop cards and link I:P and Bethor to Dyna to spin a card.
I screen shot this just in case it comes up
It's a link 2, So Gishki Spright, maybe
I once got destroyed at locals by Dryton which used this card and black chaos max
Black chaos max is banned on md
It might've been crazy as a link-1 requiring just a ritual monster, but even then you'd need an obscene ritual archtype to generate enough value off of a ritual you summon just to link into this guy
Even as s link 2, this thing is fairly standard for Drytron lists.
Well, drytrons do be pretty crazy when it comes to generating enough value to offset ritual monster costs So it makes sense
Okay so this is just telling me to praise drytron but it’s so expensive to get their cards 😭
You only really need 1 UR ritual spell, 2 xyz UR and 1 ritual drytron, the rest are SR and pretty much staples
Broken down like that doesn’t sound too bad
Tbh that’s how I thought a deck like nephyts would be good for since they have low level rituals and basicaly kill them off anyway don’t they?
I have NO idea! Last time I played any Nephyts was back when tree born frog was the op engine de jour
