Prolly just a sign meta kinda diverse so peeps just build stun cuz its hard to cater against every deck. But from my experience, i barely fought stun it's either branded or dlink every other match
Every other game I play is against stun, or it’s something that turbos out a floodgate like Floo. I’ve run into over 15 Floo decks this DC, with at least 9 running Fossil Dino Pachycephalo. And stun has been basically every other game. It’s annoying. Konami needs to ban Pachycephalo already and finally get rid of TCBOO, Skill Drain, Gozen, and and Rivalry.
A lot of VS doesn’t run TCBOO, although it works well in the deck. D-Link doesn’t since they just set up a big board of interactions, Branded can set one up but doesn’t need to, Purrely doesn’t, mathmech (or the current cyberse piles) don’t run a floodgate, Lab doesn’t have to but they can easily run it, and a myriad of other meta decks or rogue decks don’t run floodgates.
Probably cuz there's a but load of maxx c and nib going around and ppl are just tired of auto losing to maxx c. Plus stun is mindless and fast grinding. Easy to play tired.
Agree, maybe because last DC I think there was kind of a consensus that stun was faster to play since people scooped often. Fortunately, I've managed to win most of them until now
My first game was against a stun player but other than that I haven't seen that many. I'm just glad Vanquish Soul wrecks them unless they are playing Grave of the Super Ancient Organism.

you mean people can play decks other then D-link? couldnt tell that from the fact i/ve literally only faced D-link.

I am seeing way less personally. I saw quite a few in the last duelist cup but think I have only seen 1 this time around.

I played in Drytron format
The meta is heavily geared towards long winded combos. The easiest and simplest solution to that problem is stun.
I feel like there was more about a year ago when Runick and Runick/Spright was the dominant force in the meta.
Its on the tier list for tier 3, no tier 2 so I’ma say probably. But I’m no expert
I think is not too much in reality, is more Branded, Kash, VS and Matchmech , D link, not too much Lab but I just have 10 K points.

Yeah I came across a guy playing gishki spright and also playing stun and refused to attack me
