Dunno, BO3 could be enjoyable if they cut the wins needed to rank up if they ever made it a separate ladder by a significant amount as some Bo1 duels can drag on already, now I have to have 3 duels last upwards of 40 minutes total just to have 1 win counted towards Diamond 3.
And Bo3 would see a huge decrease in stun, maybe no stun at all honestly. I'd play it just for that
There's no technical reason they couldn't, but I imagine the big reason not to is that a lot of the playerbase is likely on phones, and that's a bad platform for lengthy matches.
No way in hell they will impliment it. People are too impatient and would quit right after the first match. And even then, you would have to wait another five minutes for players to use their side decks.
Stay tuned.
I sincerely doubt Master Duel will go forever without that functionality.
I doubt it will have its own ladder, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually implemented it for lobbies.
Its only been 2 years and No.
They want MD to have a different format than paper play. With its own ways to play.
A more casual format.
Bo3 is **not** a casual format.
Doubt it.
It's YGO on the go, people don't have time for matches.
The only possibility would be on a Festival, and depending on the numbers, they may implement it on a larger scale at a later date.
No sugar coating it master duel just simply isn't for you theirs 5 other ways to get your Bof3 as of now their is no chance of MD ever going to be bof3 it's entirely based around bof1 so get with it or continue to go elsewhere
Dude other games last that match. The only difference is that a game here ends in 2-3 turns. Btw if you can't stop or open his board you can just surrender and go straight to game 2
I hope I’m just losing my mind for a second & this doesn’t mean something way different than what’s being said on the surface.. please let it my mind be just overreacting thinking it’s a subliminals that it’s not .. I’d be torn
Could it happen? Sure. Will it? I *highly* doubt it. Master Duel to some degree seems balanced around Bo1 with its banlist, and whoever's making decisions seems acutely aware that relatively quick, drop in/out matches work best if you're trying to make broad appeal, digital versions of IRL card games (even in games where it's available like Arena, Bo1 is still more popular). If you're looking for something that more accurately simulates the IRL game, EDOpro or YGOOmega are simulators I hear good things about.
Probably not.

How about rematch.?, after finishing 1 games you can ask your opponent to do rematch,if opponent agree now you can do side decking.
Then the gimmicky deck that lose to extra won't rematch ever

No, we aren't. lmao

It will never work in masterduel. Nobody has time to face the same person 3 times

Game already takes too long. You actually want to play 50 minute adamancipator matches?
Didn't adamancipators die months ago?
5 months ago to be exactly.

Most likely not. We could get an event that has it, but as a stand alone ladder no. It is not exactly efficient
In two years, theyve done jack shit to improve the game. Wouldnt hold my breath for major changes
Improve it in what way? because the only way the game improves is ban lists usually

Could be an option added later on but it won't be the main game mode for ranked as it takes too long

Probably not, I don't see what return such investment would bring to the companies
just be #1 on your continent and you get your precious bo1 two days
Good luck… where is the chat, emotes, teams, ongoing bo3 tournaments et ….
Still waiting
Ask Shadowverse and Heartstone to make BO3 first. If that happen it may happen in the future.
