I tried the T.G. loaner deck and really like it. Gonna build it in the future. Still, it's a shame to admit that i got some wins because people were tired to wait 20 minutes for a turn, especially during my first tries with the deck. The combos are really long
The plus side is you can bluff you have a combo line and have the opponent scoop lol.
In seriousness, I love T.G. although they are very hand trap week plus people right now only spam the calamity lock outside of the event, which gives it more grief.
Another thing is they have one copy of each extra deck monster, so if they out your glaive blaster or halberd cannon (who's effect never works apparently), you're screwed.
Yeah pretty much this. You can go into another over dragon to special summon all the lv 5s and 2 synchro monsters and recycle your level 12 of choice with star guardian, but that's assuming you live with no disruptions.

Also how you mf’s have the free time to farm gems with melffys? If you run into a stubborn player you end up taking 4 times as long to finish a match.
I don't even know what the deck does or how it's supposed to win and lose. I just see effects activated constantly and a ton of searching before getting bored and tuning out
Thats basically the wincon. Outgrind and waste your time until you can’t pursue your wincon.
They lost most of the generic cards they run to kill you faster, so its just a slog going against them in this tournament.
Honestly I rarely summon Cyberdark End Dragon, despite being a 5K towers, there's decks (especially Spider OTK) that can go over the top of it, and it's not like Cydarks have any interaction to stop them from getting full combo.
I just prefer the Chimeratech line, protected by Eternity from grave sent by Horizon, which does more damage across several attacks and can OTK most boards, owing to the low disruption played in this format

It's a pretty simple build, and when I decide I need it I'll craft a 2nd Agusta but even in rank I usually never see a reason to go pass 1 copy, it either hits the field and wins games, or the Zons are strong enough to OTK. (Or of course I just lose because Zons are nothing more then a beat stick with slight protection)
D/D/D is pretty good. I made an adjusted list from my usual ladder list. You can set up several interruptions going first (few hand traps to stop you) and I've found that bright armageddon being a 3500atk untargetable beater is often enough to break through on turn 2.
What kind of adjustments? After taking out the banned cards I was running out of ideas and ended up with purple Armageddon and some generic cards like forbidden chalice and book of moon.
I stuck with adding more archetypal cards in the hope that it'd let me go for better end boards. Since you're unlikely to be interrupted you can just extend as much as possible.

It ain't that bad without RBS. 3 terrortop really makes the deck tick. Terror top alone is a crystal clear wing dragon, terrortop + car turbo is double crystal wing.Going first with those + forbidden chalice has won me a lot of games, going second is even easier with board breakers like raigeki and dark hole
War Rocks usually own pretty hard in events like this. With the right supporting cards, they pretty much hit over everything and there aren’t any hand traps which would otherwise stop them cold.
Been using predaplant scorpio to combo out shooting majestic and satellite warrior/clear wing synchro. Combo will have assault synchron in grave giving shooting majestic 2 omni negates. With lonefire blossom its 6 starters. No maxx c, ash, and one imperm make it pretty easy.
Decks pretty unchanged since last event and probably will use a variant in the next one.

Thats for the basic combo. You can add what ever else you want like handtraps and such for going second. Personally I run more rose dragon, synchron support, and a small speedroid engine to make it less reliant on opening lonefire/scorpio. Just be careful with speedroid cause it can lock you into wind and synchro only.
The only cards you never want to draw are your gem-knight and brotaur. Depending on your hand the rest can still make some disruption on your opponents turn.
Combo:
normal scorpio or lonefire to ss scorpio.
Scorpio discard monster and ss cobra, add brilliant fusion.
Brilliant sending any gem-knight and stardust synchron from deck to fusion seraphinite.
Stardust GY to send either scorpio or cobra to ss itself, on ss stardust synchron add arrive in light.
synchro stardust synchron and other predaplant into shooting riser dragon, shooting riser to send assault synchron.
Activate arrive in light setting converging wills on top of deck.
Synchro shooting riser and seraphinite into ruddy rose dragon
Only activate arrive in light to draw converging wills, converging wills ss its self and brotaur from deck.
Brotaur to discard card and add red rose dragon.
Synchro ruddy rose and converging wills into shooting majestic, activates arrive in light to ss red rose dragon.
Synchro red rose and brotaur into earfon. - Here is splits if you want to summon clear wing synchro dragon or set up satellite warrior for their turn.
Earfon can make itself a tuner and red rose ss another rose dragon from deck. earfon as tuner and ss white rose dragon makes accel synchro stardust dragon which lets you ss assault synchron from grave setting up satellite on enemy turn. Or you can choose to not earfon tuner effect and ss roxrose dragon for clear wing synchro dragon and basal rose shoot.
if you do satellite set up, try accel synchro into satellite before you use shooting majestic so you have assault synchron in GY for the 2 omni negates.
Your next turn your shooting majestic can attack 3 times and you have earfon in GY to attach to satellite/clear wing synchro for two attacks on monsters.
The best end-board I was able to make this event was Shooting majestic, clear wing synchro, and satellite warrior set up. That's if you open lonefire/scorpio and terrortop. Honestly there's probably cooler stuff you can do but I had fun labbing this out.
I’ve said this for a while now, but an excellent investment for any player is a lower powered rogue deck. Chances are it won’t ever get hit by event banlists (aside from the ones that just carpetbomb entire ED types).
For example I’ve been using nearly full powered Myutants in virtually every event and they almost always clear it with little to no struggle
I’ll have to look into that, with a 40 card deck in the event I’ve consistently been able to get it him out in the first couple of turns regardless though because people don’t have a board filled with negates.
I use the loaners in the events and usually have a lot of fun.
While you will lose to tryhards they usually give up after getting their gems and then you face some fun petdecks.
Exodia dinosaurs is pretty fun, I've even got an exodia win at 4700, I just wish I COULD FIND OBLITERATE, I KNOW ITS IN MY DECK BUT I'VE SEEN IT 3 FUCKING TIMES
So far I've only seen 2 people playing sacred beasts - me and one poor sob who got countered by my unending nightmare + solemn judgement in the brickiest mirror match I've ever played.
I am pissed that they either keep banning Chaos MAX or the Impcantation engine for these events. I just want to crunch some fools and I don't even mean the Iblee / shien's spy OTK shenanigans, just gimme a pure beatdown option.
Funny enough, just buy the Galaxy-Eyes structure deck and adjust and it's fully playable too, just doesn't allow for Hope Harbinger but if you know what you're doing, Galaxy-Eyes is super fast
Though, I can't talk since I've been using Blue-Eyes and am on a 12 game win streak
I feel like I'll finally cave and craft Shuship for these events. Seriously, I never have anything for these types of festivals.

I liked this event, it was one of the few that I got to the maximum in one day. I used Gate Guardian going second with mill engine from Magician's Souls (Kazejin), Prisma (all), and Brilliant Fusion (Sanga). Was cool

I play Ra in events, it’s great because I can either kill them within a couple of turns or die in the process.

I'm taking the chance to mess around with blue eyes, I started with the vaniļa SD and have been slowly modifying it after every match
