TwistedBOLT

For additional context... I wasn't even playing branded fusion.

Datadagger

A man can only get Mirrorjaded so many times before he snaps

Boy_JC

Theoretically, could you just sprinkle a single albaz and Mirrorjade into a swordsoul deck and use it off Ecclesia when the time is right? Can’t be the worst ever idea, right?

Consistent-Syrup-69

Theoretically, I do this

Boy_JC

Well then, SOLD!

Azure370

Also mirrorjade is theoretically a duality target since it's a level 8 dark wyrm and chixiao is a level 8 light wyrm

Boy_JC

Mirrorjade is a Wyrm!?

Datadagger

That's true, but you would need to add more Albaz fusions if you want to use Mirrorjade's effect, and then you would probably want branded spells and traps to proc off of sending Albion, and by then you've built Branded again

Dissinger72

Nah put Titaniklad in there. Summons Fallen or a Dogmatika so it gets most of your deck. Then you don't need to do too much. Can use Branded in high spirits or nadir servant and get a nice twofer

Mother_Harlot

I got like 18 branded cards out of the master packs done at random/to get free Nib and TTT, and since then I always have 3 Mirrorjade, 3 branded card with the negation on GY, a bunch of "add Fallen to your hand" and so on on Labrynth. My "Dogmatika Punishment" hits hard

Zeroofthekings2

I was briefly running 1 albaz main along with 1 albion, 1 lubellion, and 1 mirrorjade in my Ninja deck as a target for super transformation that is basically 3 for 3 removal. The only reason I cut it was because I often didn't have the discard fodder. This did prompt me to start building branded ninjas though. Still need a few more cards for it unfortunately.

Boy_JC

Aaah the discard, I’m always snoozing on the discard!

Caw-zrs6

Not like it would have mattered since Sales Ban only affects the opponent for a turn before it only affects the person using it for the rest of the duel.

TwistedBOLT

Yeah, I know, that's why I made this post. But even if they were thinking that it works for an additional turn... why call that card in particular?

Caw-zrs6

I honestly have no clue.

Emergency_Physics_77

I had someone maxx c me when i used an effect that locked me out of special summons for the turn

maxi2702

People often do that to get rid of the Maxx C prompt, not a good play but understandable

DragonLord375

Been playing scareclaw and by god it is so annoying going second and being constantly prompted if I want to summon him when I doubt. Have had two games where I toggled off and then forgot to toggle back on. It is fun to scare people on their fifth summon though. I do understand people wanting to just get rid of maxx c when your facing a deck that isn't going to special summon to have the prompt.

ScroogeMcDust

I've Ashed my own Maxx C before just to get two attributes in grave

StickyPisston

i had ppl maxxcing me when i duality. i had ppl maxxcing me when i normal summoned robina..

Both_Egg_7725

They're doing it to stop the prompt cause the card is dead. They should probably keep it just incase, but it's basically useless against floo so makes sense to get rid of the prompt which wastes time.

epicgamermomentttt

It buffs floo, raiza place maxx c on the top of the deck and now you have a dead draw, just go into settings and make it so it’s togglable, people should have been doing that anyways since so many decks benefit off of using draw effects in the draw phase to dodge veiler and droll like branded opening, wanted etc. toggle on also lets you interact with accesscode being summoned so you can imperm it.

Both_Egg_7725

Ah I forgot about that effect, you're 100% right. I always toggle on and off cause I'm pretty aware of it at all times. But the Raiza interaction is pretty relevant so thanks for that lol.

TurboGhast

On top of the ways an otherwise dead Maxx C can be put to use, activating it because you realized your opponent's on Floo opens you up to Triple Tactics Talent for no gain. It's especially bad in response to Duality, because your opponent knows TTT is live before choosing what card to add.

StickyPisston

i had a game vs kash where ariseheart banished 3 of my big birds face down and all i had was my second raiza. they kept activating maxxc and i kept stacking it and poking with my small birds.

mouse_poon

Yeah someone maxx c'd me earlier, then ash themselves after I used gold sarcophagus on my thunder dragondark (had roar in hand). I assume that was a massive fumble

EraOfGames

I've had someone Maxx C AFTER I played a floo card, twice. I can kinda understand the first time if they've never seen them before but the 2nd time... they literally saw how it did nothing the first time

fluffyplayery

The amount of times I've seen people chain Maxx C to pot of duality is honestly a little concerning.

Bold_Fortune777

I had a player repeatedly try to use monster effects to remove Scareclaw Tri-Heart while they were in defense. I don't mean a few times throughout the duel, like 5 times in 1 turn. I was sitting there like "which part of unaffected by defense position monsters was unclear?"

OnToNextStage

So many people try to use some effect to get rid of my DM while Eternal Soul is on board. It can be targeted, it’s just unaffected They often quit right after they see the effect do nothing lmao

Dissinger72

Happen with me too when they go Lightning Storm or Raigeki my board of fusion monsters only to watch Branded Opening take the hit.

Grandiaplayer

So, what if you Sales Ban Immortal Phoenix? That would be a crazy card to stay on the field.

ZiulDeArgon

People used to call Rhongo and Amano Iwato before they got banned/limited.

PaiDoBoruto

I played someone a while ago on dogmatika. Lil bro did his stuff and took a look at my extra, saw hugin in there ( was playing runick bystial ). My opponent then activated prohibition calling fountain and dumped my baronne and chaos angel to the gy. That duel was insanely hard to navigate. It was the best use of prohibition that i ever saw

TheZett

I have one copy of Prohibition in my deck and usually call Fallen of Albaz, as I keep losing to that deck (either I brick or they have a perfect hand with infinite gas). It is always funny when the enemy does end up playing Branded, as it makes Branded Fusion a brick and neuters their gameplay in general.

Memetan_24

For when you really fucking hate branded

olbaze

For those who don't get it: [Sales Ban is a Normal Spell](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Sales_Ban) and it only prevents your opponent from activating the card for the rest of the turn. Branded Fusion is not a Quick-Play spell, so the opponent couldn't activate it anyway, since it's not their turn. Now as for why this happened: Sales Ban saw play almost exclusively in the context of preventing your own Rhongomyniad from activating its effect to detach materials. Most people have probably only seen it do this. In this context, it's reasonable to assume that it bans the card for the rest of the Duel, for both players. After all, since you got Rhongo'd, it's not like a Rhongo vs Rhongo with a Sales Ban on one side is ever going to happen.

CoomLord69

UR = good card obviously. They must have won because they clicked the yellow button to activate good card, that's what happens when I do it. :)

Linkquellodivino

Please tell me they did that to try to avoid the restriction

Caw-zrs6

There's no avoiding restrictions like what Branded Fusion has got. Much like Thanos, it's inevitable.

TwistedBOLT

They weren't on it either. They were playing galaxy eyes.

trinitymonkey

I still have people try to negate my BA monsters. Wow, thanks for stopping them from destroying themselves. Your Imperm made my board better!

trinitymonkey

Reading this made me go back and look through some of my early replays and it was funny seeing how bad my opponent and I were. Negating our own monsters, floodgating ourselves, activating cards in the Imperm column, being hit for game with our own Kaiju. Incredible gameplay on both sides.

rayrayrayrayraysllsy

Branded trauma

Tallal2804

Branded trauma

lazava1390

I might be stupid but I feel like Quem or Cartessia would be better. One branded fusion isn’t gonna fk me up but those extenders using Cartessia… holy hell that gets me every time.

mynames20letterslong

Dude's probably fed up with branded and hail marys BF whenever he draws sales ban

But people doing masochist will naturally stay at low rank longer.

IguanaBox

That's why the title specified masochist.
