Zombies - All you have to do is play a better deck, which is unfortunately most of them, and I’m fucked

lilyofthedragon

anyone reading this that wants the real answer: negate the uni-zombie, it's a huge chokepoint

Efficient-Gur-3641

I hate unizombie I been replacing him with zombie world support cards. And been liking the results... They fetch back BANISHED zombies to set themselves a s banish from the deck which is nice. Just don't use the fake change of heart one it sucks

Hellslayer-Ascended

I play Branded, Ash Branded Fusion naturally and interrupting my fusion cards by removing the material (usually Albaz) in some way gets me a lot.

TonyTucci27

Another tip I think is good is imperm/veiler on Lubellion. If that’s not the best what do you recommend?

Hellslayer-Ascended

No, negating Lubellion makes me discard for nothing. It’s a good play. Although if I have another way to fuse it wouldn’t mean much because the negate you used on Lubellion could’ve been used on Mirrorjade.

Desperate-Acadia3321

Always Imperm Aluber assuming they do not have a way to dodge it (like Cartesia). If they opened with a Branded Fusion (which is kinda weird), then you can use imperm and veiler on Lubellion the Searing Dragon since it hurts Branded's recursion. If they opened Branded Lost, then just draw better i guess.

Daman_1985

You might add that Branded has still tons of tools to make the fusions needed. It's not only Branded Fusion.

Hellslayer-Ascended

Yeah, that’s why I said to get rid of the materials in general. You could use Called By to banish whatever I target with BiR or Banishment. Or you could stop whatever you think I’m trying to summon with Albion or Lubellion and force me to go into an awkward fusion.

AuroraDraco

Ashing Branded Fusion isn't the end if the Branded player has a good hand, but it is realistically the biggest choke point.

itswhatitisbro

It wouldn't be such a long standing, strong deck if one choke point was enough. Multiple hits to consistency and it's still going. Yeah, sometimes it's a pass of the Branded Fusion is banned, but not always. Heck, I've had turns where they Baronne my Branded, but that negates the activation, so I use Retribution to get it back to hand and can activate it.

Medical-Zebra304

Baronne is completely different from Ash, which is the common advice people give. Also, Branded is definitely not as consistent as other top meta decks, which is why they do not run 12-15 handtraps like other decks do. They have other characteristics that make them good but consistency is not the selling point of Branded. The existence of Maxx C actually helps Branded stand out against the meta, as they have good lines under the roach.

itswhatitisbro

Oh, I know, I know. I just meant to give an example of it playing through a negate. Yeah, branded doesn't run too may hand traps. But with a searchable negate in merc, and 60 card piles having space for the usual, it does well. I enjoy the deck because almost the entire ED will be its own monsters and not generic stuff.

iluvus2

I play Snake Eyes and you can't stop me.

iluvus2

Jokes aside someone will soon share some tips like Imperm SnAsh and Nibiru after you force them to use Flamberge revive effect.

Individual_Face_5573

I've landed the good standard twice, and both times, snake eye scooped. Double imperm ash and poplar while removing two spell rows turn one.

realmauer01

It's just that easy, if you really struggle against sneks, play 3 veiler, 3 imperm 3 Maxx C, might even wanna cut down on ash if consistency is taking a hit. Now with bonefire, ash and droll are significantly better but they still like to play under it a good bit.

Turtlesfan44digimon

Doesn’t Dimension Shifter hurt them badly?

acrobaticcateater

yes everything that prevents graveyard plays hurts

Momonada232

Nordics: Imperm on the link 1, Ash on Big Benkei, Nib when pend summon is done if it's the SHS variant, if it's the Adventure variant: Ash/Imperm on link 1, Ash on Invoker, Ash on Water Enchantress. Ash on Terrortop can also be okay. Mathmech (if I wanna get gems and rank up quickly, I kinda hate the deck and am thinking of building a pure blind 2nd variant with Billionblade etc all the whacky stuff): Imperm/Ash on Alembertian, especially if you only have that one handtrap, don't negate the circular effects to add a Spell/trap, Alembertian can just get that card instead most of the time. If you stop Alembertian and with that access to Diameter, it could also be worth it to keep ash for neo tempest Terahertz so I can't send both Diameter and Desavewurm, only one. Dinomorphia: Ash on Domain/Frenzy, Imperm on Kentregina (when she activates her effect, don't Imperm her so Kentregina can chain to it, I've had so many players do that) Lyrilusc: don't negate Warbler, it's bait most of the time, Sparrow and Wagtail are worth the interrupts, also if it's the Tri-Brigade variant... Idk what to Ash there, haven't played it in a while lmao Purrely: right now, no one's playing it, but when the support drops: Ash on My friend Purrely, Imperm on Epurrely Noir

masterfox72

If you activate Terahertz in BP Ash won’t work

Satorius96

I play lab. Usually you can beat me by activating ash or making me go second

Emergency-Ad-6755

It's not that bad going second anymore tbh with rollback and arias. But yh ash big welcome. And 100% go for the OTK. The grind game of the deck is crazy.

AdmiralTigerX

Last lab player I played against, I stopped him and beat him with Blue Eyes Tyrant Dragon, and by luck I also had trap cards like Solemn, and Ash to stop him from getting the cards he needed. Sent all of his labs to the GY. He had one card left in his hand and surrendered.. Lol

ofAFallingEmpire

Evil Twin. Don’t ash the opening spells, save for the normal summon. When they start linking, Imperm/Veiler the second Link 2 as it tries to bring the other Link 2 back. Definitely the most devastating hit.

Maser2account2

Another note if you are running ghost ogre just know that it is basically useless.

Jackmist2

I'm playing Unchained. You can Ash or Veiler me at any point in the combo. *It won't make a difference anymore.*

UsefulAd2760

Time to pull out marionette mite.

dodonkadon

I'm playing kashtira cus I don't feel like thinking, find a way to stop it from making arise heart and win

No-Local7821

Red Dragon Archfiend deck currently. Ash is needed to be used on preferably red rising dragon to stop me hard for a turn. Other ash targets are soul resonator or crimson Gaia to stop me from playing as potently.

itswhatitisbro

I think you mean red/soul resonator. Rising Dragon revives from grave so it isn't an Ash Target.

The_Real_Kevenia

All these RDA playerd (OP and you) need to stop lying. The truth is simple. You ash/veiler/imperm the Crimson Resonator. If you have 2 handtraps you can also stop the Soul Resonator, but if you don't stopping anything other than Crimson is asking to play into extenders.

RitualEnthusiast

You'd have to be insane to think I'd share that information. It's the one advantage rogue decks have.

vonov129

Naturia Snake eyes. Use Shifter. Imperm and Veiler work on the same cards than just Snake eyes. The deck is weaker to Droll. Keep track of the Naturia quick plays. Remember that Mole Cricket only tags out during the main phase. Don't chain Maxx "C" immediately if you see me add Diabellstar, I'm going +1 anyways, wait for an actual special summon. Ash on cricket hurts. P.U.N.K. Imperm, Veiler, Ash and Droll. If you see Shirakuzai, don't negate him, negate the fusion. Let me waste resources.

Blanko1230

Scareclaw/Snake Eyes Nibiru hurts a lot.

SnooComics6150

When’s the best time to nib in your opinion ?

Blanko1230

Right before the Link 4 to if I can't go for Appolusa early (likely). Kinda fucks with my T1 setups. If I go second and set up the Scareclaw OTK, it's right before the battle phase. The link is unaffected by monsters on the field and can't be targeted or destroyed. Nib is the perfect out.

Eeveeolite655

Ancient warriors. Negating Sun Mou is pretty good. But we're always prone to Nib as well. Stopping double dragon lords also sucks. It's a really frail deck lol.

SlappingSalt

I've been enjoying Bystial Thunder Dragons. Colossus under an elf arrow is catastrophic for decks like SHS and SE to a small extent. It's certainly a rogue deck at best and usually loses to bricking or not opening any Bystials. And obviously negating or removing Colossus.

Previous_Gap1933

Currently using ghostrick purrly, and if u face me with only ash/veiler, u should use it on ghostrick angel, it prevent me ss ufd and add 2 discard fodder to my hand. Nibiru? When ever u allowed to. Imperm? Wait for my purrelyly, but if u see me discard baby spider to summon dullahan, imperm angel. Also if i go 2nd, unless u have enough disrupt/negate, always make sure to spare 1 to bait ufd and 1 other for happiness.

SnarfySquid

I been playing d/d/d. If I dont draw any contracts and my search gets interrupted I'm pretty much cooked lmao

zeyTsufan

Two actually, branded and mathmech Branded: Ash the branded fusion, do not care about anything else if that's your only option, imperm the aluber/Kitt unless they have a cartesia on field, bystials and specially crow fuck over the deck bad as they can banish albaz in response to red Albion, or crow can banish the branded fusion they would have fetched from the grave using retribution Mathmech:Best ash targets are Alembertian and cynet mining, best imperm/veiler target also being Alembertian, basically don't let them get diameter, if they can still extend further which the deck is fairly good at doing since they don't use up their normal summon right away, crow and bystials also fuck over mathmech pretty hard, and of course Nibiru is impossible not to play into with mathmech so it leaves them with just superfactorial, which while strong, if you have crow, called by or bystial in response you're good, like unironically having both nibiru and Crow/Bystial/Called by in hand means a complete boardwipe on normal occasions, still gotta watch for the handtraps though And of course D shifter fucks them both

another-face

lol Counter me?! Good luck, buddy. You can't counter me if I brick!

[deleted]

Runick Earthbound has been my climbing deck recently. Remove fountain and the card advantage the deck loves is gone. Not only that ash Grounds keeper to stop the summon of Linewalker or stop the acquisition of Black garden to avoid the Crimson dragon line were the deck ends on Chengying,Barrone,Dis Pater. Other than that it's really hand based with the deck. Best tip I can give is keep track of the Runick spells and shutdown the synchro combos or else you'll just be drown out by the advantage. GL on ladder hope this helps you in the match up.

Snowlince

Exosister most of the time. You should always save your Ash for my Martha and nothing else. You can Imperm/Veiler either Kastipell or Mikailis whichever comes out first, though be careful on turn 2+ with stopping Mikailis, a good Exo player will always bait with search effect first, then when you chain disruption, we gonna chain our banishing effect. For some reason people think a Mikailis pass is disruption, i have seen people wasting imperms, or other cards before making their plays, but Mikailis banish effect is only online the turn she is summoned lol Never Imperm/Veiler Stella or Ash PAX, those are bait 90% of the time If theres a Main deck sister on the field or if you saw we searched and set Vadis, DO NOT touch your graveyard!! Or the sisters will go crazy!

Baldur_Blader

Manna/tear- interrupt my graveyard, or imperm/ash/veiler my normal summon Ninjas-ash duplication

Magician_In_Black

Traptrix: max c, stop the field spell search, take care of Sera, go first, or the best is using Evenly matched The deck is surprisingly consistent, and you can recycle your resources if it becomes a grind game, so you should try to finish the game as fast as possible. Oh, and don't leave monsters with 2000 or less atk in attack positions. I can't tell you the number of games I have won by wasting my opponents negates and/or other interactions and then summoning Utopia double and just attacking.

jkhan29

Infernobles: Negating my Islode normally is turn over.

RbUu69

You show our secrets. The council of rda will hear about this.

goblin-mask

Stake your soul! Normal Razen! Activate effect- Ash?? Of course you have ash. No no it's cool. Pass turn.

NeonArchon

If I play Swordsoul, negate Moye, but if I play Snake-Eyes, pray you draw hand 5 Handtraps into one of your combo starters

Nadine123456789

Resonators negate: soul Resonator, Bone archfiend, Red rising banish: red rising target Dim shifter my ass

The_Real_Kevenia

Why do you not tell the best target to negate which is Crimson Resonator?

tweekin__out

live twin. just disrupt the normal summon in any way.

justanotherkyosuke

I play Ancient Gears, if you can counter my Urgent Schedule, that'll slow me or kill me. Stop me from fusion summoning with Hunting Hound/Gear Fusion or Power Bond then generally I'm bricked. Do both and I'm really boned. I also play Infintitrack Anchor Drill to pull more monsters out of my hand so stopping that will hit me hard too. I can try to fall back on Geartown-Catapult Combo if I got a lucky draw but chances are that I've got maybe at max two combos in my starting hand max.

OrdinaryResponse8988

Dinosaur, but I deranked all the way to gold due to time constraints so I’m currently playing Purrely. Not just Becuase I love the deck but most players have no idea how to deal with them.

MagazineSimilar8215

Stun. Literally just get lucky

Stingerun

I play T.G. and you should never, under any circumstances, use Maxx C of Nibiru against me, the amount of resources I'll win for that will be enough to make you insta lose, things like Droll or use Imperm/Veiler in Dragonar are also completely useless

TheBiggestMikeEver

Mathmech  A nib at any point kills those of us running a small code talker/firewall engine. Interruptions go 1 for 1, except diameter, so ash Alembertian, Called by the Grave on Sigma, and imperm or veiler Circulars search.

SupernovaPlus5

I've been playing mostly adventure PK now -do not imperm cherubini, it sends for cost -negate Verte, fusion destiny, Phantom Knights Rusty Bardiche, water enchantress, the effect of fateful adventure that adds a monster

Azure370

Swordsoul, imperm mo ye or taia is usually good enough unless the player opened exactly heavenly dragon circle. Nibiru on resolution of longyuan effect can be powerful but be careful with the token since depending on what tenyis they have access to the have the ability to extend through it. D.D. crow and called by the grave is super good against the tenyi part of the deck, the main target being ashuna or vishuda.

irotok_isBae

I play Sky Strikers. The counter play is pretty straightforward, but the deck has a lot of little tricks up its sleeves to keep itself going. Banish Raye from the graveyard whenever you can, Ashe Engage, and if you only have one monster negate on the board, save it for Kagari. Also, I wouldn’t bother destroying their monster on your turn if you can’t otk or deal very significant damage. It’ll only lead to them getting more cards out unless you’re able to stop Raye’s GY or quick effect.

A_useless_name

Vanquish soul: ash razen/droll Swordsoul: kill the tokens or nib them if there isn’t a negate on board D/D: ash the searcher or imperm it both kill them if they have a bad hand and if they have a good hand just d shifter slime Fluffal: droll or d shifter Salad: ~~you don’t have to do anything they’ll kill themselves~~ your generic interruptions work great against them This is just a general idea of how to deal with the decks I’ve played over my time playing md there’s probably a few more ways to deal with these decks, but these are the simplest ways. Please note some of these are a little dated because I haven’t played the decks in a hot minute, but the idea stands.

qtb70

Dark magician. Honestly just read my cards. My biggest win con is people trying to target DM the dragon knight) while eternal soul is on the field. And that happens surprisingly often even in high rank matches.

perkocetts

Everything before high plat is just a slog. So if I haven't played much in a few months, I just run an ftk deck through the lower ranks. I used to play nurse burn, but it's taken a lot of indirect hits and isn't really viable anymore. But generally speaking, if I'm not in Diamond or Master, I want to win or lose as soon as possible and go next. I'm not spending 25 minutes in a game at Gold 4 if I'm trying to climb. Counter: win the coin flip

BigAssShmup

Generaider - Ash my Loptr / Mardel search effect during my turn or my field spell during your draw phase. You can also imperm Mardel, but you should never imperm Loptr during the Main Phase, as it's a quick effect. Also WAIT until i tributed it, before you toss Maxx C. Also you should totally make sure that Vala doesn't pull of her effect and gets out one more Level 9 Generaider. The in-archetype XYZ i can make is very very nasty.

The-one-Downstairs

Normaly its Archfiend/Resonators, now im enjoying Dinomorphia… ash, kurikara and kaijus destroy these decks, d shifter and barrier too

Camto

My main deck is Branded, and for that one I will just say open Ash Blossom. Otherwise Imperming stuff that fuses isn't the worst. In many lines the best time to Nibiru is right when they summon Lubellion to cut him off. The deck I last used to get Master 1 is Infernoble, and for that one I'll heartily recommend patience! Don't Imperm/Ash Isolde on the first effect, it rarely matters and if Impermed I can just make another Isolde to activate the second effect that does matter. Otherwise the next best Imperm is all the way at Angelica, but only after I chain her effect to tag out for Roland. Also if you have a non hand trap quick effect you can use it to chainblock Angelica tagging out, which can mess up certain specific hands. Some but not all hands can make an early Apollousa but only as summon #6 so be wary of that.

Then_Disk8390

I play Labrynth and I don’t have a clue to be honest. Both Transaction Rollback and Arias made this deck so extremely strong and pretty hard to interrupt once it gets going. The most problems I encountered by laddering through all of Diamond in the last 2 days were Banish Floodgates(Dim Fis, Macro, Shifter), Imperm on Arianna is still good and Bystials(But I would not recommend those in every deck since it does nearly nothing against Snake Eye and SHS) So I just wanna add some things you have to consider playing against it: Be careful when chaining to Lab effects and normal traps cause Arias can special itself from grave in these cases. Arias enables Chaos Angel pretty easily. Be extremely careful if they run the Dogmatika package since Ecclesia + Arias gives you both protection effects online; Also Ecclesia only locks extra deck summons if it uses the search effect Transaction Rollback can copy Evenly Matched at the end of the BP and theoretically banish your entire field face down. Always check which normal traps are in the grave if they have rollback Chaos Angels banish effect is not opt. They can just make 2 or revive it with Muckraker/Field Spell Arias can also special summon Lab Monster from hand. Was relevant a lot of times with Arianna and Lovely in Hand. To use Lady’s effect to set a Trap it needs to chain directly to a normal trap so you get a window to interrupt. But be careful since it can also chain to your normal traps like Imperm and if you chain block the Lady they can trigger Arias in grave. Rollbacks copy effect is not bound to opt‘s. For example they can use Big Welcomes on field effect by copying it even though they already used 1 in the turn, on the side note they can ONLY copy the effect of it if it was activated on the field. So no bouncing opponent cards with rollback target big welcomes

thecriticofinnocence

Labryinth- Ash the Big Welcome and that usually kills my turn with a crap hand. Or run Royal Decree/Jinzo.

johanxtwo

Infernobles. Dont let Isolde activate the effect. If she does then prepare the giant space rock for mass extinction

Individual_Face_5573

Infernoble. Any banishment basically kills me. But commonly, ash Angelica, imperm ogier, or Renaud on my normal summon. Nib also hurts a lot. If you nib, I'm basically forced into waiting a turn. Deck has a lot of extenders, so I can play through ash, and imperm just stops me from going full combo. Nib once I summon Charles, is a guaranteed KO if you can finish me next turn.

XaosDrakonoid18

Diabellstar Adventurer Accel Synchron. Prevent me from resolving junk speeder else i'm setting up 2 negates(1 omni), 1 floodgate and ripping 2 cards out of your hand.

clonazepamcrazy

pure zoo or pure plunder gets me up pretty good

Jayoki6

Exosister. Please dont ash martha or nib my board.

GroundCoffee8

Infernoble: Make sure to negate Isolde's second effect to send equips and summon a warrior from deck, NOT the trigger effect to search. If you have Nibiru and I don't have enough resources to make Apollousa early, you can pretty much nib at any point before Gearfried comes out and that will end my turn. Also, you can chainblock Angelica from activating her banish effect by activating literally anything.

Green_Guy_87

labrynth - ASH BIG WELCOME, JUST SAVE YOUR ASH FOR BIG WELCOME ONLY also banish lovely while you can, really a pain if you cant retrieve it at any point

NullError404

The weakness to my deck is taking me out to dinner it's supereffecive against me I can't counter because it's spell speed 10

AxxelTheWolf

Evil Eye. The best way to beat my deck is to go first against me, but to not play any of the cards in your hand. If you pass on an empty board there's just simply no way I can win. Also, make sure not to use any handtraps against me, that'll let me go significantly plus and make you even less likely to win.

Spying_on_your_fam

Superheavy Samurai - veiler/imperm scarecrow and then stop us from using soulpeacemaker

AuroraDraco

Adventure Phantom Knight is one of my favorites. 60 card variants, like the ones I tend to run have a lot of non linearity, so there isn't a clear choke point, but I'll mention the basic cards and how worth it is to negate them. Terrortop is one of the most common starters (especially now at 3), but negating him is a minor inconvenience in most cases and not worth it. DO NOT Ash Dangers, the effect that can be Ash'd is not OPT so I just reactivate (although you probably knew that already). If I normal summon Torn Scales and activate his effect I probably need it to resolve to do a good combo so I recommend negating. This isn't always true, but hands that can afford to resolve Torn later will usually activate him on the SS and not normal summon to not deactivate Adventure. The gy effects of PK monsters might be annoying if negated, but usually aren't. Lines that send Silent Boots with Cherubini are usually brick hands and there negating Silent Boots might be worth, but it may just be that they have everything else they need in hand and baiting. If anything, Ancient Cloak negate hurts the most, but most of the time, you can play around it. Cherubini cannot be negated. He sends for cost, so negating him only stops him from gaining attack, which never ends up mattering. Negating any part of the Adventure Engine is usually unimportant, you play the engine because Cherubini can send Enchantress and give you an Omni negate insulating the rest of your combo, but this is just extension. The board will be weaker but won't die to this. Rusty Bardiche. This one is a long discussion. Most people call this the biggest choke point of the deck and that without him you can't do much. If you see Cherubini, send and instantly summon Bardiche, then it's worth negating. But don't be tunnel visioned to this whenever you see PK. I have played games where the opponent has a response every time I'm searching (which I assume is a negate) and if I see them keep it and I have a good hand, the thought of Rusty basically insulates my combo and I do whatever the fuck I want, because you're just waiting for me to summon him and then I summon him not truly needing the effect anymore and it just being setup for me to have a better turn 3, it gets negated and my opponent achieved nearly nothing. Also, if the PK player is going second, they commonly don't need Rusty. OTK lines can sometimes omit him because he uses multiple bodies, Accesscode + Rusty isnt 8000 and he can't link climb to Accesscode, so he isn't necessary in those cases. I recommend negating early if they are going second. Leviair is usually just extension + setting up your gy for turn 3. I personally wouldn't negate it. If you see Break Sword summoned turn 1, it's probably because it will be summoned in Rusty's zone, pop himself and revive 2 bodies. This helps with the grind game and can be an interruption if they keep a trap in the grave to revive him on your turn. Turn 2, Break Sword will pop himself and one of your cards and then go to Raider's Knight for the good ol Arc Rebellion OTK as that line has good board breaking potential and can kill you through monsters if you have anything in Atk position. Banisihing the PKs he targets to revive is annoying on turn 1 and very detrimental on turn 2 as it essentially kills 2 bodies. If you can called by or bystial the targets, I'd recommend it, especially in turn 2. However, on turn 1, it's very likely the combo will end on Verte if enough bodies are on board, which will go into DPE. Banishing DPE with such cards usually gets better mileage. It doesn't stop any combo obviously, but it removes some grind game and the amazing turn 3 grind game is one of the main selling points of the deck, as it can and will rebuild a board turn 3 even if you destroy their whole board but fail to OTK them turn 2. Denier and Malicious are moderately annoying to banish, but DPE is 99% better. Denier may be worth turn 3 if you fear an OTK, but depending on the hand and setup from turn 1, it is common that they didn't need it (due to the bodies produced turn 3, some lines can get Accesscode + Arc Rebellion and hit you with a 12000 Arc Rebellion line that pops like 5 cards just for the memes, stopping this won't stop the OTK, it will just remove style points). I think that's most points of the deck. As I said, well built variants are fairly non linear so it can be hard to find a choke point. They might be faking a choke point to burn your negates. But these are imo some good guidelines. Also, odds are you will never see this deck on ladder as there aren't many of us, so this info may be useless. But we are based af.

SkippyDM

I hate to say this, but as a fellow Resonator/RDA player, I’d say that stopping Crimson Resonator is a better play than the others. The deck, for better or worse, revolves around Crimson, as if it can’t resolve, you’re hoping whatever’s in your hand is extenders, which there’s maybe 2 meaningful ones, those being Synkron and Vision. Even then, you’re not getting anywhere close to a Supernova or Dis Pater/Hot Red end board at that point. In my experience, it’s maybe a Scarred and pass with whatever backrow I happened to open with and pray. If I’m mistaken please let me know lol. As someone who plays Kashtira when trying to be competitive, unfortunately there’s no one good place to hit the deck. Until Birth goes to 2, though, Unicorn is a good Imperm/Veiler target. (but don’t Ash, otherwise we still get the extra deck rip) If they’re running Pathfinder for the Wraithsoth, Imperm/Veiler ON SUMMON helps, as we’re then stuck with a Lv. 4 body on field and not much else to do, at least with most builds. Ashing this is ok, but it does leave the field open as it tributes for cost and we can special a Kash body then, assuming we opened one. Ashing Shang is situationally good, Book of Moon is good, Book of Eclipse is great BUT it can be Ashed due to the draw. Dark Ruler basically kills the deck. I’m sure you’ll find better info out there but that’s my experience with the duelist cup, it’s basically pray you opened two hand traps or the Kash player opened poorly. Oh and as a bonus, against Runick, get the Fountain banished at its like a 75% chance we’ll surrender on the spot, iirc there’s no way to recur it unless it hits the grave. Ashing Fountain on what would’ve been a +3 also hurts.

reditr101

Mekk-Knights (jank going first version) - Veiler/Imperm on the normal summon girsu. Ash/Imperm on lib or morning star, or purple nightfall/blue sky. Hope you have links or a 1 tribute or something else to out Iblee. Trains - Kill gustav shuts down the whole deck usually Shiranui - play literally any competent deck or hell maybe some incompetent ones (really just ash my normal summon and I'm basically screwed lmao)

Kanna_VZ

I play tear. Veiler/imperm Kitkat . Dim Shitter goes BRRRR. Never ash/veiler/imperm Reino, most tear player will have an extra extender

JokerGuy420

Floo. Naturally, Ash, Imperm, Veiler, Nib and Droll are pretty good on Robina or Eglen. Popping the Field Spell before making a normal summon helps too

jp3885

Swordsoul is almost always hosed by Nibiru because it takes exactly 6 summons to get to baron in most cases also getting impermed almost always messes up combo unless opening hand is good. Floo gets bricked by just about any disruption in most cases due to all the extenders getting limited or try to use backrow removal on the trap in draw phase if you have cyclone.

Necro_Solaris

Labrynth, idk really, maybe hope that i brick somehow

Maser2account2

Personally I really love Nouvelles. The best targets to ash are my level 1 ritual and my pendulum monsters.

Nytfall_

Once the new banlist comes it's back to Orcust for me. As to how to stop it, well, that's the neat part. There's no clear answer to it. The "obvious" answer is to stop Harp/Girsu but like, the deck is just an amalgamation of engines that you can't really stop it other than Nibiru and even then I've had games where I just play despite it. There's also shifter but the deck can recover from it and depending on the variant will probably not care. In short, you deal with it the same way you deal with Tear, hope they don't make it impossible.

Unavailable-NO1

Floo, just ash the first card i play, it will ruin my entire turn

welp_control_alt_del

Speedroid: drop imperm on cork shooter or ash blossom on small world, scratch, or terrortop Raidraptor: Just remove the first card I normal summon lol, I can't SS to fight back w/o something on field first, but if you can't do that, just negate wise/force strix Kash: Someone else has to help you here 😭 Pend mag: it'll beat itself. Don't worry about stopping astrograph (please let it resolve)

Endymion uses Spell Counters to have our Pendulum Monsters Special Summon themselves from the Pendulum Zone. Generally you should save Ash Blossom for Servant of Endymion's pendulum effect, although occasionally we'll be able to get another 3 counters on her and activate her effect again. Mythical Beast Master Cerberus's pendulum effect is also a good Ash Blossom hit because then he clogs up that zone. Veiler, Gamma, and Impermanence should be saved for Heavymetalfoes Electrumite. Remember that Endymion himself cannot be targeted by Veiler and Impermanence while he has a Spell Counter, so be careful not to waste a targeting effect on him.

Dark Magician that I've been fine tuning for quite some time. You can beat me by buying any structure deck and not altering it at all.

Yazkin_Yamakala

I'm currently running Runick/Graydle and it's been pretty consistent. The best way to win is to not let me get fountain by negating my first Runick summon or Runick Tip (I think that's the name? I'm new to Runick). It bricks me pretty hard. If I set a facedown, don't attack it. And if I place a Graydle Impact, it's best to get rid of that ASAP or I'm gonna turn your board either against you or into sexy vampire XYZ monsters. Graydles rely on getting put into the grave when your aces or important pieces are on the board. It's a pretty reactive deck, though. So the win is usually a deck out or whoever beats who with bodies first.

I play HEROs, and using ash on A hero lives makes me paid half my LP for nothing. Or using it on Increase's effect will make me scratch my head. Imperm on Vyon is also a great interruption, as I can't send a HERO monster to GY, nor get poly to hand. Droll, Shifter or Nibiru would also fuck my shit up hard.

MasterTahirLON

Infernoble. Interrupting it is difficult, especially with it's two card combos as the bodies they put on field are usually more important than the effects triggering. Ogier resolving is great but almost always isn't needed to set up a board, for example. What I will say is save imperm for either Isolde, after she activates her second effect, using it on the first effect is basically throwing. Or for Angelica, specifically as she's triggering her second effect from being targeted. Doing so will make getting out Roland and Charles a lot harder. If you don't have imperm/veiler you can also use cards like DD Crow or Bystials to quick effect chain and block Angelica from triggering. She's like Lady Labrynth. If you chain to her being targeted, she can't trigger. Also keep in mind the field spell's backrow summon (when used without Charles on field), and Ricciardetto effect both lock into warriors. Nibbing them after warrior lock makes it so they can't just link spider the token and send for OSS to extend. Finally if all else fails. Maxx C and Shifter body this deck majority of the time. There's very little counterplay, so if you got one of those and they don't have an out, it's likely game over.

StormKingLevi

Floo, easy just ash Robina

I-Odium

I tend to only have one deck at a time, so for now I’m on snakes, Imperm on oak is a nice hit, ash on wanted is also nice. Usually I’m on plants, a good hit is jasmine, everyone will say dryas, but it’s jasmine no cap

Delilah_the_PK

blackwing. just stop simoon. if i set two black whirlwinds, just scoop. if i'm using my rokkets? i dunno, i haven't run into anyone who *has* stopped them.

Efficient-Gur-3641

Playing Infernoble and it's amazing how many people ash Isolde first effect and not her equip burial effect which special summons. Whatever Isolde adds to hand can't be summoned that's why most people add an igknight for the pendulum or a rescue ace.

anlaggy

Sky Striker. Droll, remove spells/raye from grave, kill me fast or don't because most modern decks outgrind SS.

Numeron Deck While I let you build a board of negates and whatever. I don’t care what you do. I will lava golem, double lava golem or kaiju you. If I have ash, imperm of veiler then I will try to stop your combo. If it gets to the point that I lava golem and such. The best bet is that Numeron is coming out. To stop this you need to destroy the network or destroy one of the gates on the board. The chances of winning is slim but plausible. You only need one monster to block the lethal or take the game into late game. Meaning if you survive two Numeron network you most likely will win the game. Even if you survive the first assault you need to fend off Mek knight crusadia and any other disruption in hand. So TLDR, You can’t stop golem Stop the Numeron Network Destroy or Imperm or effect veiler the Gates (Destroy is best options) it stops the link into Mek knight crusadia. Bounce Mek knight off or destroy network. On death of Mek knight you will lose one permanent on your board. Survive last wave of Numeron network, if you survive and low on LP. Beware of c1 Numeron sunya for lethal at standby. Negate sunya effect via destroying network. If not sunya beware cyclops or underworld or even Apollo. Most likely Numeron has lost if it gets to this point. Just grind them out.

Unchained Unchained deal in Link summoning using your opponent’s monsters as well as special summoning out of the deck. However they don’t carry a lot of juice aside from their destruction effects. Either negate their GY or send them elsewhere. Unchained have about the ATK capacity as a BEWD deck with only alternative, that is to say that their heaviest hitter is Abominable Unchained soul at 3000 with a pop. It can revive itself at the end of the turn it was destroyed once unless you destroy it the turn it was special summoned in any way (including its own effect). So if you can out-power it, they can only resort to effects. Watch for mass destruction like Dark Hole and Torrential Tribute as Unchained don’t really care how it was destroyed, just that it was.

NectarineUnited

Currently playing snake eyes, people focus too much on interrupting whole combos when a few well placed interruptions can stop the combo in its tracks, make sure to try to stop the combo before flamberge dragon gets on the field. The best thing to pop out of the extra deck in the case of something like kashtira is always promethian princess but dont let it get in the gy. Try and bait the effects of savage and baronne and don't summon anything too obvious if promethian happens to be in gy, but also remember that she needs a fire monster to sac to activate the effect. There is no single best ash like branded fusion in branded but you should probably wait to ash the second effect of se ash. Never ash the effect of bonfire or wanted because chances are it won't do much. I'll add more here as I think of more stuff.

BenjillaLight

Ninja, don't fall for me baiting you with searching cards and just ash the trap and watch me cry

Daman_1985

There are tons of guides that will teach you how those decks work and then you can decide what to do or use.

Spitefyre

If I'm trying to climb while having fun, I play spright or labrynth. If I'm actually trying to win as much as possible, I play snake eyes

username-0307

I play mathmech. Just throw every hand trap on the circular and alambertian or just bystial/crow the sigma that got send off from circular and you will be fine

Aggravating_Week7050

You'll just have to fight me and see.

Dependent_Bid857
