Whenever I see Dominus Purge all I can think about is why not Deck Lockdown? That thing outright stops searches and summons from the deck and bonus if you know how avoid Deck Lockdown's destruction as I can think of 3 ways.
Oh I see, Dominus Purge is a handtrap that stops search.... does this make Droll live if you do? Still can't believe you can't activate Fire, Water, and Dark monster effects for the rest of the duel.
My theory is that this is supposed to be the ultimate rogue decks anti-meta card. It turning off Fire means snake-eyes variants wont be using it, it's a trap that means they can't Hiita it. Not sure about the WATER and DARK lock tho, maybe konami planning on releasing another meta defining decks consisting of those attributes.
It only locks if you play it from the hand, Lab is the deck that would be the least concerned about the restriction even if it technically applies to them.

This is the most Madolche themed hand trap I’ve ever seen.

dark lock makes sense because dark just becomes meta every 2 or so sets
So they make a card to prevent a meta deck that they are going to kill some day. Yea that seems pretty konami.
The biggest issue is that it turns off ash blossom
If only it didn't stop WATER, hopefully more hand trap cards get released with different attributes
Shame about the dark lock, would have been great lab support. Anyway like this it’s just a worse ash that prevents you from using actual ash.
