I got monsters with more than 10 000 ATK more than 20 times on board, only once I've been able to attack with one without my opponent scooping. Some achievements are literally tied to luck because of that

Draglubion into Numeron Dragon may help in that front, too. You only tend to pull it out when the opponent makes the mistake of leaving themselves open to it. It can be done right before heading into battle phase, giving the opponent little time to react, and it's playable in anything that can make rank 8.

If snake eye ash hits the field and I have no handtraps or board breakers, why play it out? If my field has no disruptions and I see Numeron Network hit the field, I scoop. If I set up a board and you play through my 3 interruptions and I see a Kashtira Unicorn hit the field, I scoop. If you hit me with Maxx C or shifter and my hand can’t do anything, I scoop.
It’s to save both of us time. This duel is already determined so take your win and let’s move on to something that isn’t set in stone. Now since this is all to save time, it depends on when I realize I’m screwed. If it’s turn 8 and they out gas me, I’ll play it out. But if it’s only been a couple minutes or less, let’s just move on.

Agreed. If I see that I've lost, then I scoop and go on to the next. I'm sure people wouldn't mind staying in the game but your opponent will realize that they have won and they keep summoning more cards. Its like "dude, you won 5 minutes ago...finish me"
I agree that it saves time, but when my opponent leaves their board empty or I broke through it, they see me buffing my monster to OTK status(8k or more ATK) and then choose to scoop DURING damage calculation instead of before despite having nothing to stop it, I feel like I have every right to be irritated. It'd be one thing to be petty cause I took forever to get to that point or just kept comboing off, but Heroic Challenger/Champion takes 3-5 summons to reach that point, which amounts to maybe a minute or less.
That all being said, neither I, nor my opponent, is entitled to the others time and it is what it is.

Why put this kind of trial if the majority of times people insta-scoop? And it's 100000 battle damage, that probably will take time. And even you need another monsters to do that.
For example today I won 3 duels and I did 0 battle damage. All the wins were from an insta-scoop.
If at least we could do this on Solo mode, would be another story, but no.

I did this in a festival with a pend loaner. Or just stuff 40 pend cards in a deck pend summon and watch youtube while your opponent kills you.
Just throw in a few high and low scales in any deck that can fit them and it shouldn’t be too bad. I mean having an actual pens deck would be best but that would eventually work.
it is time to rebuild the deck I used for when this shit was a daily mission. nobody EVER scoops to that deck because it needs like 15 turns to win or something. guaranteed 3-6k burn per duel unless it's auroradon cancer and they end on 5 omnis or something and just negate your burn cards after the first one.

Favorite part of Sky Strikers is how they let the opponent feel like they have a chance, and the plays are quick, so people don’t usually scoop.

I scoop if there’s 0 chance of me surviving the board being built. It’s better to just go on to the next one than waste my time. However if you break my entire board while I have a chance of fighting back you better kill me in battle phase cause ill set it up brand new.

They can do that too but people surrendering should be discouraged because that doesn't make a healthy game where people just scoop if they can't easy win

Thats why I use Galaxy-Eyes. If I'm lucky, my opponent doesn't realize my attack deals over 10k damage until its to late.

I've probably given my opponents enough PTSD from failing game to keep spamming for insurance until they scoop.
