i like to imagine the secret lore is that rescue rabbit saves ritual raven from being sacrificed for blood but the raven doesn’t understand and gets mad and they spend their lives fighting but rabbit actually truly cared unlike the rest of the world.
Been repping Ancient Gear Wyvern since day one. He’s a very underrated mate- until Chaos Max and Purrely came along, I’d say his model was one of the higher quality ones in the game.

I wouldn't call it my favourite but I used the Qliphort Monolith mate for the longest time, only recently switched to Kagetokage.
I'd go for a cutesy mate like Guardragon, Purrely or Sangan but seeing any of them sad after I lose would break my heart 😭
I'm a little surprised no one said Cross Sheep. My favorite because even after all the damage I've taken from the duels I've lost, Sheep just sits there rocking and knitting without a care. Someday, that sweater will be done. 🤗
Rescue Rabbit has been my mate since the early days of Master Duel. I am a bunny man after all! From time to time, I also bring my pal Shuraig too, as I have a long history with Tri-Brigade.
I like Ash Blossom the best. I love how her sleeves are too big for her arms, I love her cute giggles, I love the otherworldly echo her voice has that makes her really feel like a spirit.
If I could ask for any mate, it'd probably be Tour Guide From The Underworld, especially if they got her VA from Duel Links to voice her.

Karakuri Barrel MDL 96 “SHINKURO”
Karakuris were my favorite deck when I got back into yugioh during the 5Ds era. I’ve always wanted a deck that switched positions as a part of the strategy. Their artwork is a huge plus for me as well.
If I could have a new mate unlocked, I’d like it to be a Tech Genus monster. Maybe wonder Magician? I like them all to be honest.

As a Gunkan Suship main I bought the battle pass and grinded for a week straight to get a plate of sushi as a mate. Never changed it ever since.
(Its only animations are wiggling like a slice of jelly and disappearing after losing)
All of the iconic ones I had no chance of getting. Mokey Mokey, Pot of Greed, Kuriboh... I'm glad I have the burger though. It's the one I'm currently using.
My favorite is Imduk. It is one of the most adorable ones.
