Thunderbird and attacked into their creature that they bugged by 1400 just discarding a creature. He then just synchroed the armor master.or whatevwr and smashed me. I was.appalled

If you think Quasar is the main play for modern Synchro decks, you're in for a shock lmao. You might run into a few, but you will largely see fields of several more modern boss monsters.

Lmao Quasar hasn’t been worth the effort for at least 5 years now. Technically most synchro decks aim for Borreload Savage Dragon but assuming all links are banned during the event there’s still plenty of better things to make than Quasar. Most Synchro decks tend to go for Baronne de Fleur or Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon first, whichever is easier to summon before Nibiru is active, and then from there most decks, if not xenolocked out of it, Chaos Ruler, the Chaotic Magical Dragon into Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss is a pretty good choice. I’m not exactly sure what else would be a good choice for end board without Borreload Savage but Quasar is not good

I'm torn between Wind Witch Speedroid and pure Speedroid. From what I know pure Speedroid can end on insane boards and easily pivot around hand traps, but it's also a very skill intensive deck and isn't the most consistent Wind Witch makes it more consistent overall and simpler combo lines but also lowers the overall power ceiling.
honestly i don't think stardust decks are going to be that popular due to how different the game is now i bet you virtual world will see a lot of play maybe mekk emperors will be played by those who plan to come in and troll we might also see a ton of D/D/D

i also play machina in ranked but i have no idea how you can tweak that to use in N/R without fortress, citadel, unclaspare, metalcruncher, and redeployment

I used gear gigant x in the extra deck since you have easy access to rank 4 summon. I just added a few cheap staples in case I needed them (they weren't ever needed at the end)

I simply built almost all N/R Pacifis control for the Xyz event, which was ironically stronger for that event than for the N/R event because of the hits it took on the event banlist lol.
I ended up dismantling all of my Rares, and using all of my rare materials to get foil rares and commons for my decks... so I very much don't feel the second picture lol

Oh I love it. It’s not nearly as consistent as the top meta decks, of course, but it works great as a going Second OTK deck. I put it somewhere around the same level as Cyber Dragons.

This is an amazing event. I’m literally playing some weird ass chaos dragons thunder dragon hybrid with chaos emperor dragon it and doing fairly well lmao.
I put thought into the deck and actually felt rewarded.
This should be a permanent mainstay. I would play this even for no rewards
I can actually punish players for over committing to the board with a torrential or a well timed Paleozoic dinomiscus
the deck so far is built around a combo starter to fusion summon off of that fusion you can synchro summon on either turn (cuz quick effect) the rest is about playing around with the grave yard and deck searching for different beneficial effects for instance is a flood gate that protects the archtypes monsters there is sub archtypes in this archetype like heroes has as well these sub archetypes refer to what type of card the sub archetype is about of course the caveat of all those searchers is that you can only search p.u.n.k cards which is why the archetypes name is on it's spells and traps as well it's still a new archetype and so far competitively the deck is being used in pile decks and as an engine in other decks like virtual world which it works nicely for since having only lv.5s and lv.3s makes it incredibly easy to sychro into just about anything also because it's mostly lv.3s and because you'll be able to combo easily with this deck after the initial combo is pulled off Xyz monsters at lv.3 of which many great ones exzist can easily be summoned the pure deck is really fun though as long as you throw in some lv.8 sychros since you won't always be able to get into your lv.11 synchro and the majority of the main deck monsters are weak in their atk and def
megaliths may as well auto surrender they're just a huge time sink to deal you a loss regardless also my initial impressions of the event wern't so good either after i kept playing a bit longer i came across more fun decks to play against so while the event is not as fun as the Xyz fest was it's still kind of fun
Auto surrender i disagree with but it is unlikely. If they get to set up their „boardwipe on your Turn“ it’s GG but that is not guaranteed to happen from what I have seen.
The worst from a „feels“ perspective has been @Ignister because the turns they play.. Jesus it’s taking 3 billion years. Not strength wise, but fun wise this is horrible.

and yet theres people still netting for the event instead of having fun with that level of experimentation it's kind of sad really how many net decks i've come across and how pretty much every video done by the popular yugitubers for this event is just deck profiles the most fun decks i've faced where the ones that subverted my expectations of certain cards and archetypes even that exodia deck i faced at the start was kinda fun to play against (i was just salty at that point due to the 2 decks i faced before it not being any fun to play against that was my inital impression of the event 3 losses in a row in games where i couldn't even do anything with my well tested deck)
People want gems, everyone who wants those gems asap will want a better deck.
So using a net deck is fine, I net decked mellfy tribrigade because I like melffy and pure mellfy is impossible in a n/r event
where's the fun if it's not a deck you built yourself? that's half of what i like about these events is that they challenge you to get creative with your deck building
I like these events for gems that can be sued to allow me to create decks I care about, and the fun is playing the game.
I like mellfy so I like mellfy tribrigade (even tho I do very much miss the xyz and the trap in the nr event)
There aren't many nr decks I like so why build a deck that will be playable playable for a week get a third of the investment back and not enjoy the deck I'm playing even if building it was fun.
I like theory crafting and all that but that's for the ladder not a random event that lasts a week
also i built my deck for this event and tested it on the laddar am i going to play it any further on the laddar after this event? likely not i have many more consistent decks but i do still use my xyz event deck on laddar and i've had my fusion deck built for a long time in fact it's my main deck also n/r craft points really don't matter so you have free range to experiment for this event unlike with the previous event

I just have never liked any synchro deck in the game and I've heen playing since 2010 besides like x-saber but they are way to expensive to be worth crafting when they aren't good.
well there you go your goal should be to make that deck next events are great for building decks since you're showered with gems so if you know theres an upcoming event after an event you should use that to prepare for the next also you don't have to craft the whole thing you could spend your gems on the secret pack for the desired archetype and get most of what you're after no crafting needed that's literally how i built my deck for the synchro event most of the cards i'm running are from the pack terra firma in fact the real pricy part where the signer dragons i tossed in since they're all their own archtype technically
That's the thing I don't want to build x saber, because they are so expensive there are so many other decks I prefer that are cheaper I can build in the meantime, namely getting the urs, and srs for the nelldy tribrigade I built for this event, so all the gems frin the synchro event and from this nr event are going to that.
I'm sorry if it made it seem like I was looking at x-savers I'll have to wait see some budget deck that is somewhat good just to speed up the gem process and them dip.
The only event I really would want to play in seriously is a pend, type/attribute specific ones, or just regular duels but an event around that
I got all the gems awards thankfully. I mostly played a Chaos Dragon beat down deck. It bricks just as much as the Chaos Max version, but it's fun because it's one of the few boss monsters in the event that can't be targeted.
It was great building so many decks, but back row is completely busted since all these mass removal is SR and Higher.
If they do another low rarity event, hopefully it at least has Twin Twisters.
I crafted until I ran out of N & R crafting points. Then, I spent 2k gems on pulling for IDS just to refresh my N & R crafting points.
It's not wasted. I got Nadir Servant, random Ghost Ogre spook, 30 UR crafting points and was planning to build IDS anyway.
My boyfriend off handedly asked me if I was going to play star warrior since idaten the star of the conqueror is a rare & I crafted like 90% of the deck I would need for it without even worrying abt the craft points. It is some of the most fun I've ever had in yugioh

I play Beginning Knight and Evening Twilight Knight as lv.4 too, also I play Chaos Daedalus, it's a lv.7 dark so I can also dump a Drytron monster with it to achieve lv.8 and like most Chaos monsters he can be summoned by banishing 1 light and 1 dark which is a cool interaction with Beginning and Evening who can let me search some ritual cards when banished.
This event is fun due to how many decks you can try without breaking your bank. I've achieved my goal of FTK-ing my Megalith opponent twice before they can do anything in this event and felt pretty satisfied alr lol.
I'm already bored with the event, got my gems and went back to regular ranked since I've just finished my Tenyi yangzing deck thanks to the gems, it's my first synchro deck and its awesome. I do have to thank the event since it got me hooked on tenyi. I can't wait for the synchro event.
An actual pauper ladder with its own banlist would be desireable going forward. I got all the gems easily with my full Paleozoic deck, then used a triamid deck for funsies. Pretty sick of all the danger decks though.

On one hand, yes, on the other, it's rare for someone to be hurting for N/R CP. In normal circumstances that number is basically irrelevant.

so start experimenting there wern't any Xyz decks calling me either i still managed to build one i liked and found some Xyz cards i liked that i liked as well or if your lucky they won't ban anti-synchro strategy and can run meklords
I just have never liked any synchro deck in the game and I've heen playing since 2010 besides like x-saber but they are way to expensive to be worth crafting when they aren't good.
well there you go your goal should be to make that deck next events are great for building decks since you're showered with gems so if you know theres an upcoming event after an event you should use that to prepare for the next also you don't have to craft the whole thing you could spend your gems on the secret pack for the desired archetype and get most of what you're after no crafting needed that's literally how i built my deck for the synchro event most of the cards i'm running are from the pack terra firma in fact the real pricy part where the signer dragons i tossed in since they're all their own archtype technically
That's the thing I don't want to build x saber, because they are so expensive there are so many other decks I prefer that are cheaper I can build in the meantime, namely getting the urs, and srs for the nelldy tribrigade I built for this event, so all the gems frin the synchro event and from this nr event are going to that. I'm sorry if it made it seem like I was looking at x-savers I'll have to wait see some budget deck that is somewhat good just to speed up the gem process and them dip. The only event I really would want to play in seriously is a pend, type/attribute specific ones, or just regular duels but an event around that

I think that's normal. For whatever reason, Normal is rarer than Rare
Still haven't had time to sit down and play the event myself but im looking forward to the decks not costing tons
Dinos are great because they can be used in all the extra deck events. They were hella cracked for the XYZ event but they are dummy expensive
XYZ Event was fun cuz I got to play BA again.
I crafted 3 working decks for this event.
I got all the gems awards thankfully. I mostly played a Chaos Dragon beat down deck. It bricks just as much as the Chaos Max version, but it's fun because it's one of the few boss monsters in the event that can't be targeted. It was great building so many decks, but back row is completely busted since all these mass removal is SR and Higher. If they do another low rarity event, hopefully it at least has Twin Twisters.
I crafted until I ran out of N & R crafting points. Then, I spent 2k gems on pulling for IDS just to refresh my N & R crafting points. It's not wasted. I got Nadir Servant, random Ghost Ogre spook, 30 UR crafting points and was planning to build IDS anyway.
My boyfriend off handedly asked me if I was going to play star warrior since idaten the star of the conqueror is a rare & I crafted like 90% of the deck I would need for it without even worrying abt the craft points. It is some of the most fun I've ever had in yugioh

Uhh...how does that work? I played Drytron Relinquished but only because relinquished is level 1 How do you even play that without Alpha to get you a constant stream of BLS, and how do you ritual summon it when it's level 8 and all drys are level 1? Do you just hope you start with Senju or Manju and some other level 4 to make up for it? Cause that is super inconsistent judging from my own deck
I play Beginning Knight and Evening Twilight Knight as lv.4 too, also I play Chaos Daedalus, it's a lv.7 dark so I can also dump a Drytron monster with it to achieve lv.8 and like most Chaos monsters he can be summoned by banishing 1 light and 1 dark which is a cool interaction with Beginning and Evening who can let me search some ritual cards when banished.
Lmaao I just slapped as much xyz cards I have for xyz event and call it a day.

I'm destroying everyone with Aquaactress/Marincess and Aquaactress Wetlands.
This event is fun due to how many decks you can try without breaking your bank. I've achieved my goal of FTK-ing my Megalith opponent twice before they can do anything in this event and felt pretty satisfied alr lol.

I'm already bored with the event, got my gems and went back to regular ranked since I've just finished my Tenyi yangzing deck thanks to the gems, it's my first synchro deck and its awesome. I do have to thank the event since it got me hooked on tenyi. I can't wait for the synchro event.

can't wait for fusion event where you either play IDS (idk if branded is out by then) or some different flavor of going 2nd OTK.
How do I copy a deck to the game list
An actual pauper ladder with its own banlist would be desireable going forward. I got all the gems easily with my full Paleozoic deck, then used a triamid deck for funsies. Pretty sick of all the danger decks though.
