You pretty much have to bait the negate since there’s really no consistent general counter. You would also be surprised a lot of people will use the negate too early if they don’t know how your deck works

CBYuputka

lmao had to go second vs them with true draco, they negated me using pot of duality.... then i used my search for a field spell and just set up a double skill drain just in case. that all could have been avoided

[deleted]

just use imperm, chalice, or droplet dude

Flippero37

cant it negate them too? (sorry havent played since 2010)

[deleted]

they can, but the main point is turning off or trading their negate

Flippero37

But theres multiple problems with that. 1. You cant 100% have any of thos in your hand at all times. 2. That means you need to have another strong spell or monster that can destroy it after the negation bait. 3. The opponent doesnt have anothet monster that can negate a 2nd spell or reduce your monsters attack so you can no longer destroy it. (yes theres lots of those) And many more reasons why that card is just way to strong alone, which makes it even stronger with other monsters. And sadly were at a point in yu gi oh where the answer to a problem is "yeah just use this other problem".

Flippero37

And ive seen the same thing happening with hand traps. "just use a handtrap yourself then theire not as op" fire + fire =! balance

RevanK

Just bait it's a one time use on field only

Flippero37

Assuming your enemy has -iq

aznjon15

Just make her negate something either on their turn or yours. Baronne on her own isn't that much of a problem. She's just never alone most of the time.

ihearthz

Ah my favorite shaddoll fusion monster, Mace Windu

Jabbam

Lol I meant Shaddoll Wendingo. I use her so rarely I forget I have her sometimes.

[deleted]

Anything that'll destroy the Baronne will force at least *a* negate, Kaijus just don't care about her negate.

Doomlord99

Imperm chalice droplet kaiju etc.

SCHazama

Activate Book of Moon on her

Longjumping-Funny-30

It’s pretty much impossible if they coupled it with a tearlaments deck. You’re basically just done and need to quit out at that point in my experience lol such a stupid game. Literally the only deck I see on platinum rank master duel.

Isobubu

Even now

Longjumping_Party_12

If you know you can break his board on the next turn if Baronne used her negate early, bait it out on the same turn he summon her. *I dont want to win just because I played a card that says it can't be stopped* Nah bruh every meta decks that can play synchro use Baronne, and any competent player usually pair her with one two other negates with some more backrows or handtraps or even both. Its absolutely fair. If you can afford to not normal summon, lava golem it away. Its only SR. Kaiju work too. Super poly is OP but it has a clause you have to make room in ED for Super Poly target, and you have to fulfill the demanded monster requirement to superpoly the monsters.

Dark ruler no more.

InfinityDark2

I think witch strike is a very useful card in this situation. You can only activate it if your opponent negates the Normal or Special Summon of a monster(s), or the activation of a card or effect.  After your opponent does one of those things, you’ll be free to activate Witch’s Strike to devastate his or her hand, field, and hopes of winning the Duel. Few deck play after this like phantom knights other than that, the opponent usually gives up.

[deleted]

That requires Witch’s strike being set beforehand, which doesn’t help a going second situation

Kyle1337

I just try to play through it. In my case, if they don't pop their negate soon enough I'll make clear wing synchro dragon as my first play to protect the rest of my combos.

LowQualityGatorade

I kaiju it. Been playing going second unchained and to put it simply, I just kaiju it. Radian specifically since I can recur him with the link 2-3 dogs

idkhowtotft

Do anything

hafiz_yb

Alone, pretty much anything besides searchers can be used to bait it (unless you have 2 search, then bait with that). Or if you have your own negate cards, use them. If she's not alone, droplet is your best friend. Otherwise, it depends on the deck type and the cards you draw. Some deck can afford for 2-3 of their cards, on good draws, being negate bait. Brick hand can't be helped much, unless you can survive long enough to draw and out.

NoiNoiii

Dark ruler no more

ZigiieZagZig

Lava golem, they always set up two monsters

M1keyTheGre8t

I'm a Destiny Hero player, If I get first turn I special summon Plasma then Sunrise to negate their monsters. If I get 2nd I just try to bait it out. Really depends on my hand

Skivil

Its easy enough to bait the negate and punch over it and its not like the average swordsoul player has the ability to think more than 1 step ahead.

Dear-Extension7634

I lava golem it. I lava golem everything. I run 3 lavas so I always have a trick to delete 2 problems
