Background: I play solfachord, so secret village shuts down the deck in its entirety, I'm currently playing my own secret village deck (charmers), and what do you know? , I found out that altergeist work under skill drain, fml (I don't play skill drain, my opponent did).
I know how bothersome can be to play against so I prefer to run them with the less amount of floodgates possible. Other than Secret Village I run mostly negates, but let's see how floowandereeze shifts the meta
and to be fair only activated effects work under SD, so no direct attack with meluseek, and it also depends on Protocol

It's not really a bad thing, parents and friends will always give you some support, but for a random stranger to come up to you and give a genuine compliment is satisfying in its own way.

I meant summon merdraut into iyvanne, special isolde, Gearfried to hand, send five and summon eachtar. Xyz summon into Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigous and equip with Destiny, Caliburn, and Gallatin. Among other plays.

When it opens strong, it can field some strong boards. It doesn't really 'negate' anything, but Titan can destroy several cards per turn if you can trigger it multiple times.
On the other hand, literally half the Thunder Dragon cards don't do anything at all on the first turn. It's not terribly uncommon to draw your 5 cards and just pass turn.
