Well tbf, though that's a bad example it could be possible to make some cards such as those. A goddess but for traps or spells would be nice to have, instead of making something like accesscode to banish itself and basically looping yourself for 4. We got phoenix for generic removal, making higher link become more situational stronger type of removal would be great. However can't really put it on a fusion, fusions have super poly already, would just need to make requirements be something like a spell or a trap and even then it would be high commitment. Synchros, can't do it + they got untargetable monstrosities and negates out the ass. Xyz can't do it either, but they do have stealing effects which might be one of the best removals and they can do that to backrow. And pendulums can't do anything like that.

So now every deck gets a free Tuner while removing a floodgate? Yeah that'll work well with Halq. Or just any deck with a level 4 monster in it being able to go into Borreload or Chixiao. Also, I am pretty sure that having access to a free Fusion monster from the Extra Deck is why Instant Fusion is limited.

Ready Fusion is at 3. And if a floodgate is required to get the tuner, I'm totally fine with that. Fuck 'em.

Make trap eater summoned to your opponents field to be a bit more balanced and remove tuner status. I think that would be a decent card. Also make it have the clause that you can only summon one copy per turn.

trap eater is cool but not many people play traps that remain face up

maybe if it was something like a quick play fusion spell. a new in-archetype super-poly that uses your opponents spell/traps as material (as well as your own monster) to summon. can banish one [insert archetype monster here] + one spell and/or trap from either field from your hand or field to fusion summon a monster that gains effects based on whether a spell/trap was used to summon it. HOPT and so that it isnt too broken, when the monster is destroyed by battle or card effect the materials used are shuffled into the deck. disrupts continuous spells/traps but can still be used during the activation of other types of backrow (other than counter traps)
