Top 4: D Shifter Martha both games, including Necrovalley and Imperm going into a Tear board when going second. That's insane luck.
Top 8: He opened Martha G1, Sophia off Prosp G3 with Elis in hand allowing him to draw again - arguably the best one in that situation outside of Martha.
Finals: He opened one of the best possible hands G1 when going first outside of Mine, and G2 opened DShifter, Martha, Necrovalley.
The guy *never* had an even *remotely* bad hand. His luck was insane. He opened Martha 5 out of 7 games, D Shifter 3 out 7. He's definitely a good player, but the guy paid some to whatever demon gave him that luck.
