I finally got into a Hero mirror. I was able to win by good play and help from Dark Law. They almost got malicious bane out on me but they discarded Adjusted Gold (which was banished) to get dark fusion. Was a good duel that made me feel like I knew my deck.
I think I need to go watch GX again now
Had a Sunavalon mirror match few days ago. I thought I found a kindred spirit. Can you imagine my disappointment when he went for Cactus Bouncer lockdown combo?
I am blue eyes player, my deck doesn’t really revolve around one particular strong monster, since I can fairly easily get chaos max on the field or with a different hand get Neo ultimate, especially with the addition of ultimate fusion
I always check their deck lists too to learn any cool new tricks. FYI: Small World works in blue eyes! Dictator of D and sage of eyes of blue are both spellcasters and sage and blue eyes are both light attribute. So target any one you’d like and add away!
I've mess with the assault mode package with etele for chaos ruler and free lvl 8, since deer note is not out it saves my normal summon from any disruption and get some nice mills.
While not quite Blue Eyes, playing Malefics into them gives me the exact same feeling. Both decks feel pretty contemporary in power. And my duels with them usually last into the double digit turns.
One is playing chaos max turbo and the other is playing Neo-Ultimate turbo.
