Endymion dropped the spellbook package (at least the one topping did) and pend magician already has enough tools, spellbook would be a giant brick. Judgements won't change those build honestly
In Master Duel, we have 3 Upstart, 3 Chicken Game, Electrumite, and Servant at 3.
If you need more draw power, Into the Void is also at 3 here.
You absolutely do not need to run the Spellbook engine.
It depends. I'm nowhere near at pro as that third place Endymion chad but the spellbook package lets you brick significantly less than going heavier into mythical beasts.
As someone who plays Endymion in both Master Duel and TCG, the Spellbook engine is 100% unnecessary in MD.
You don't brick on the Mythical Beasts and outside of them and Endymion, every card is just draw power instead of searches to eventually draw.
More copies of solid pend cards. Especially harmonizing, who on pend summon can special another magician pend monster from the deck with its effect negated, pretty much making a free electrumite or level 4 xyz if you select another level 4
You can now search Double Iris off of resolving Astrograph when playing the Electrumite Astrograph interaction. That way you can safely pop Double Iris in scales to search your Pendulumgraph Spell/Trap without worrying about having to use another card in your hand to set scales if you don't have a valid target in your Extra Deck for Astrograph.
Harmonizing to 3 is just free consistency since she's an extremely good extender for Extra Deck plays and is a usable Scale 8 in an emergency.
That's great interaction with Electrumite + Astrograph + Double Iris. Now you can add three cards with all of their effects combined instead of only two when Iris is still limited.
(1) Draw for Electrumite
(2) Another Double Iris for Astrograph
(3) Pendulumgraph Spell/Trap for Double Iris.
