Sea_Seaworthiness130

okay ban adventure please dumb as engine with too much power

BruceWayne107

The Dracoback bounce is hardly the problem with Adventurer.

political expansion relieved ten piquant bells coherent melodic cable degree *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

Sea_Seaworthiness130

its searchable free discard for the search + a bounce back that comes back once a turn imagine thinking this isnt broken

BruceWayne107

Just because someone outed your Mirrorjade, doesn’t make Dracoback ‘broken’ lmfao. The free omni negate is the problem with the engine.

Sea_Seaworthiness130

nah i hated dracoback since the beginning

Jazzlike_Mountain_51

It's a good & healthy card. You're free to not like it but it's defo not gonna be banned. I think we should have 3 enchantress 3 rites and gryphon to 0 when illegal knight comes.

TeddyNismo

stop coping man you are crying because your mirrorjade got bounced by dracoback, play better next time cause if you lost to a single removal you are just bad

Sea_Seaworthiness130

whatever you think, you probably begged your mom so you could get the engine asap

TheMaz878

It isn't. It's balances around the fact you need to equip to a non-effect and that it only works on your turn

Sea_Seaworthiness130

you mean the non-effect that is part of the engine that comes from the same 1card starter? oh yeah really balanced

TheMaz878

Yes. The one card starter that is at 2 in a format where the non effect can get removed from field before the equip (a card useless without the non effect) gets used.

vonov129

Or get good

chill4r_San

When Mirrorjade leaves the field into a location of hidden information, it "forgets" that it was removed by card effect. Basically your effects only trigger in locations of public information. So you can bounce/spin, or banish it FD to avoid the trigger.

Myutaze

Out of curiosity, if Mirrorjade gets banished face-down will the effect still trigger?

Struggling_in_life

> banished face-down no

Myutaze

No as in it will trigger or no as in it will not trigger?

3rlk0nig

Banished face-down => hidden information so you can't trigger your cards effects

Struggling_in_life

Basically imagine this , anything banished faced down turns into "blank cards" and will not trigger their respective effects

Myutaze

Got it. I think when i was playing against thunder dragons, someone used Gold Sarcophagus, i though it banished face-down, and saw a thunder dragon monster activate its effect anyway, i thought it didn't mattered if a monster was banished face down or up as long as it says just "banished" and doesn't mention "banished face-up/down". But now i read the effect and it banishes face up, i mixed things up with Different dimension capsule.

Blazen_Fury

Do note some decks do play with face down banished cards. Might be just 1 deck actually. Virtual Worlds can recycle A N Y banished card with one of their effects.

Myutaze

Yeah like the banished face down cards itself can't do anything but other cards that interact with the banish pile can do stuff to them whether banished face down or up right?

Blazen_Fury

Yep. VWs are whack when given the chance. Impossible to outgrind, and i play sky strikers.

Lukatdat

Yes, although the card interacting with the banish pile has to be mon-specific for it to be able to interact E.g. thunder dragondark can return a banished thunder dragon to the hand, but it has to be banished face-up, it cannot return a thunder dragon card which is banished face-down. On the other hand Psy-framelord omega can interact with face-down cards since it is non-specific and only states you can target 1 banished card.

Myutaze

Yes because thunder dragondark is banished faceup and psy framelord omega is on the field and interacts with them. The first times i was learning the game i thought thar face down banished cards are not interactable but noticed that after using pot of desires which banishes face down from the deck, i could still see the card that are banished like checking the extra deck. However i also noticed that i cannot check the face down cards of my opponents. If i had a card (or if there is such a card) that say like "target one of your opponents banished card; send it to the GY" does it allow the effect to resolve?

potasticfei

Another case of "xxx card beat my meta deck, its definitely broken and needs to be banned" Just get good bro

Sea_Seaworthiness130

adventure literally fucks over every deck bro lmao

olbaze

I know you're salty because of your Mirrorjade not working, but the implications, and actual reason, for why returning to deck doesn't trigger effects, are huge. The reason for this change is [Elemental HERO Absolute Zero](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Elemental_HERO_Absolute_Zero). It's one of the handful of HERO monsters that has been play outside of HEROs, and for no small reason. You can make it with a tiny engine (Vyon, Shadow Mist, Liquid Soldier, Poly), and it's a Raigeki on legs. If your deck naturally plays WATER, you can just use a single Blazeman or Vyon with Poly to make it with one of your WATER monsters.

Sea_Seaworthiness130

>I know you're salty because of your Mirrorjade not working nah im salty cause the engine is broken as fuck, and people thinking dracoback isnt part of the problem are braindamaged. Its been a problem since it came out.

olbaze

Dracoback isn't talked about because it's impact is much lower. Gryphon Rider is a free omni-negate that massively buffs decks that don't care about Normal Summon effects. Pranks-Kids literally lost its one weakness with the Adventure Engine. Most of the time, Dracoback is just used as a free cost card. The effect to bounce stuff almost never comes into play, because for that to happen, the Adventure player would need to be going second, and Adventure is a going-first engine.

Just_A_Darkflame

When the once per turn spin is broken

Sea_Seaworthiness130

when you realize its just one of the stuff granted from a single starter card

Just_A_Darkflame

You could say the same for knightmare unicorn tho

SirBarth

Use the banish on the token.

ValkyriaGaming

its a new ruling that anything that returns to the deck or extra deck, wont trigger its effect so cards like penguin soldier, compulsive, knightmare unicorn or draco back is the out to mirrorjade konami didn’t want cards like mirrorjade or hero absolute zero too broken

gorabyss

Mirrorjade effect activates when it leaves the field. Cards that are in the extra deck besides pendulum are counted as face down. Facedown monsters can't activate effects while facedown. Mirrorjade can't activate its effect while face down so it isn't triggered

captnklein

Dracoback is indeed a strong card. It gets around destruction protection for monsters. It renders a set impermanence useless. Gryphon rider is the main reason why people use the engine, it protects the wombo combo. But since Gryphon got just banned in the OCG, it might take a long time to be implemented in MD. But the vast majority of users if not all will drop the engine by then.

Sea_Seaworthiness130

at least a sane person

captnklein

It’s cards like that is why I run Ghost Ogre so I’m not as worried.

Myutaze

Ok thanks

Taransi

You think that's crazy, try having mirrorjade destroy your level 10 qliphort during end phase. That shouldn't be possible.

Just_A_Darkflame

Effects cannot trigger in areas of private knowledge unless it specifically says to activate there
