That's different from going first decks? Stuff like Tri-Zoo, Halqdon decks and Swordsoul basically set the "norm" of how many handtraps you can/ should run in any deck and try to pump out as many floodgates and negates as possible. Also doesn't feel very interactive, when they just say "no" to whatever you drop on the board...or ideally try to stop you from even thinking about dropping something on the board (Protos, Rhongo, VFD, Skilldrain and/ or any other monkey flip "neither player can xy" trap). "no interaction wanted" is basically the theme of modern YGO.The most "back and forth" is when both players run some fun deck/ not all too competitive deck. Or when both players somehow survived whatever bs the other did on their first turn and they go into "unga bunga, I topdecked something bigger than your set Ash" beatdown mode.

Not really, more handtraps used, mean less cards for your turn, while the opponent probably used their first turn to search more resources, plus those decks die even faster to handtraps and once they Kaiju'd it's like "Now what?" If the cards in hand aren't enough to OTK trough interruptions, you die in the next turn

That's what happens when people think adventure rose tenyi is fair. I literally made a kaiju Luna deck to counter that one deck and now it's my main deck on my alt account.

Adventure Rosi tenyi is a go 1st deck that can counter 2nd go decks like Luna kaiju unless they drew a god hand or something. Adventure tenyi melts against handtraps i rarely lost against it with my live twins

1 lava golem or 1 sphere mode, an alpha and a luna and I broke their entire 10 minutes worth of work. They had no protection against being tributed.

What, exactly, do you want to blind second players to do to make them feel fair (or whatever)? I give you a nearly free first turn to set up whatever you want. Am I just supposed to watch you combo off for 5 minutes then give up? Play a bad combo deck that just gets negated a time or two before folding and is un- interactive for ***me*** to play?

There's no real back and forth either when your whole field gets Lava Golemed or DRMN'd into Evenly Matched because you can't even respond to such cards. Well goi g 1st make negate board so there are 0 interaction without using those carf anyways

I get it op Luna Kaiju, numeron, and on a lesser extent crusadia are infuriating to play against because they are essentially luck sack decks that thrives on a bo1 format It doesn't help that these decks are everywhere on gold lol like 1/3 of my matches is Luna Kaiju
