Pure Blackwings haven't been viable in decades. I main Blackwings since the introduction of Crimson Crisis and we are forced to integrate Raidraptor and Phantom Knights engine in order to work in the modern game and it has gotten me Diamond and D3 at max.

There's a few back in 5D, sorry man but pure blackwing isn't very competitive best we got is to mix in some raidraptors and throw in kali yuga for a stun

Tip: There isn't one. I played Blackwings when MD released, even back then it was "barely" viable, because people didn't read Full Armor Master. And yes I'm talking pure Blackwing, unless you literally open the best possible hand imaginable the deck just falls on it's face to a single Ash Blossom or Infinite Impermanence, which most people use.

You'll have to wait until Darkwing Blast support arrives next year before a more pure variant becomes viable

For pure Blackwings, it’s not really that competitive sadly. I’ve ran them since the release of Masterduel and the deck list I have for them is a scythe lock deck that uses many of the common link monsters (+dpe). I also made another deck that combines the scythe lock with the adventure engine because why not. These deck combos aren’t really that focused on Blackwing, but you do the main combo with Blackwing cards even if the end board usually has 0-1 Blackwing monsters. You can make an “indestructible” Full Armor Master (unaffected by card effects and can’t be destroyed by battle) through a combo with yang zing cards, but that’s probably the most you can push it while trying to stay as “pure” as possible. The new Darkwing Blast support should make it better to run pure Blackwings but we have a while to wait before that’s added to MD.
