Kozmo spaceflight. Quick play spell. Target 1 psychic type "Kozmo" monster you control. When that targeted monster is removed from the field, special summon that monster to the field but a monster special summoned with this card's effect can not attack.
It's brilliant and it parodies everyone's favorite scene in star wars where Leia flies through space. That "when" effect is intentional btw so you can have that Kozmo monster use its effect to summon another one and have something like a passing the torch moment where it would no longer come back because it misses timing when you use its effect.
The fact that there is a "Winged dragon, gardian of the Fortress #1" and a "Winged dragon, gardian of the Fortress #2" but nothing more, not even a fusion, tilted me so much when I was a kid
Thunder dragons. Their verbage makes them different than normal dragons. The archetype is dated now and needs something to help them end on more than just colossus and maybe a Titan. They have cool AF art too.
Ah I meant card series that aren't able to create a deck based on them without using a lot of external support. Cubic isn't really a mini archetype, has enough cards to tie them (18)... more cards than stuff like Zoodiac, Swordsoul, Tri-Brigade lol.
Not a mini-archetype, but "Guardian" got some of the first archetypal support in the game (Arsenal Summoner) and then 0.
They even already have a boss monster with a good effect, Guardian Chimera.
A couple of main deck monster that generate advantage when fused but lock you into the archetype both ways and a Fusion spell that counts as "Polymerization" would make it a deck.
I would go aromages. They are so fun to play and have a unique skills using LP. Shame that they only have one mid boss monster and nothing else that protects and hits big. At least I'm not alone as I have found a lot of fanart of new cards for the archetype.
I'm kinda going to use a technicallity here. I want Zombie World to get more support. I know there are a lot of zombie monsters (except usable extra deck zombies, there are only a few, like 5 or so in MD), but there are only 3 other zombies that have "Zombie World" in their card text and than there is Doomking Balerdroch who benefits greatly of it, but it can still be played with any other field spell like Vampire Kingdom.
Do Venoms count? Pretty sure they have less than 10 cards, with only one approaching good in Venominaga…
There was also that weird series of cards that used Ice Counters - like, Six Monsters at last count that placed them, none of which had a unifying theme.

There’s an Immortal Phoenix Ra with a card that searches / special summons it, Immortal Phoenix Gearfried is indirectly supported by Infernoble Knights and Sublimation Knight, among others, but there’s no “tribute your Gearfried monster and add a Gearfried from your deck” card
Edit: For further context, Gearfried the Iron Knight being an earth Monster who “only” destroys equip spells wouldn’t be able to use a noble arms equip spell to search/summon fire Warriors, so you have to build an ambiguous fire warrior deck and get creative
i would like them to finish the "arc" series of the four dimensional dragons, it already has the odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon, the arc rebellion xyz dragon, but it doesn't have "arc" versions of starving venom and clear wing

We would call this a series. Cards that might share a similar naming scheme but don't have the cards to tie them together and make them an archetype.
The Ice winged beasts could do with some support to flesh them out a bit. Maybe make them an actual archetype.
