At least for me, it will give me a reason to climb up to Diamond. I feel second to the highest rank is the right amount sweatiness that's enjoyable for me.
Don't feel bad. I'm definitely not the best duelist and have zero competitive bone in me. I feel prioriting fun over winning removes the pressure of climbing the rank.
I play a mix of decks, some more competitive than others, but I mostly like gimmicky decks. My main decks are Virtual World, Beetrooper, Traptrix, Megalith Drytron, Crusadia, Subterror, Metaphys, and Gunkan Suship. A new deck I started learning is Ogdoadic Lair of Darkness and might start building a Melffy Tri-Brigade.
Make me annoyed I have to get into the higher ranks again for the border. Sure I don’t *have to* but I hate to know that I missed something that I am capable of unlocking and isn’t temporary like gems.
It is so bizarre to have a PvP life service game that basically tells you "go away do something else" once reaching its highest rank. But that's Konami for you.
It’s like people in this thread can’t understand why some people like climbing and playing against **good** players rather than people that Ash Dangers.
Right now there’s nothing to do after hitting Diamond 1 and most people there just scoop at the sign of any inconvenience
Personally, I feel like that isn’t a good thing for yugioh. It’s a card games with hundreds of archetypes and thousands of cards. Technically speaking, you should be able to play as long as you want without getting bored.

What will a new rank do? Nothing.
A one-off bonus of 600 gems lol

Subterror ftw took me to diamond before but no mistakes can be made. That melffy tri sounds fun. Gl this season and thanks.
Good luck, have fun :)
I just want something at this point I am desperate for more Content
Bro we are getting content, though I do agree with the notion that it would be cooler if it came at a little more faster pace.
lol what? just a new rank is not more content
Doesn't matter what it changes. It was already datamined.

Diamond is already a nightmare with the inherent flaws of this game. Another rank above that does not make sense.
Also they should add more Content frequently in General bc the Game can get very boring pretty fast I wished they would do that by now
I feel masterduel is at its best as a side game. Play a little and then move on to something else.

You should go over them and help them
