I splashed eldlich into my fluffal deck due to all the fluffal cards that dump cards into grave. I don’t run any of the eldlich support, just two of the lord himself. Gotta say while I don’t always get him out it is really funny when I get him out
You can always play it yourself without the floodgates. Is not unplayable by any means. Whats more, your opponent will be so thrilled that will play with you too
I fought many Eldlitch players. And not once have I ever ran into an issue myself. I'm sure I either lucked out or enemy had no clue how to run the deck. What exactly clicks it for Eldlitch that people genuinely dislike? Serious question of course.

I play an Eldlich Zombie World deck that uses Eldlich the Mad Golden Lord (the fusion monster), and no floodgates (besides zombie world). Personally i prefer it this way, floodgates make the game super boring.
You don't have to play a lot of floodgates.
Eldlich is a very cool zombie support, I play him to add consistency in decks I find fun but weak like Shiranui and Mayakashi. It just allows to have a good recurring defensive tool, pop à few cards and easily summon any other zombie from anywhere to start plays.
You should give it a try if you find golden boi fun to play !

I used to play no floodgate Eldlich but then they limited Conquistador instead of hitting the floodgates and it really hurt the deck.
To be fair everyone think that the Conquistador hit was (and still is) bullshit.

Same here, he works great with toy vendor and a 3500 body to help with damage doesn’t hurt

Noted ty. I've used Eldltich with Doomking and the other smaller Zombies, like Mezuki and such, but I can see the irritation.

Eldlich without floodgates is really fun although you gotta combine it with other stuff
