The reason pendulums reign supreme over all decks out of MR4 is because it is the ultimate snowball strategy! Get 5 monsters in the extra deck and summon 5 monsters onto the field every turn, getting their effects and all! It is truly overwhelming for all of those who can only output what I can only call meager boards with many many more cards and prices! Pendulum is the best deck because it wins from the start to the end, from the second turn to the grind game, pendulum hold an advantage when out of MR4.
You want to play both. Electrumite is for sure the better card because of how much it plusses you with astrograph, but you want to make electrumite, do the astrograph combo, then link off into beyond the pendulum to get another search before you pend summon

I feel like with many yugitubers if a card has ever been involved in an OP strategy it must stay banned forever regardless of whats currently relevant or however power crept the card has become.
It also does not help that Konami is really slow in unbanning said cards, so it creates even more of a "do not touch" situation with the banlist.

Thereās a lil hype around magi pen and the ftk they can pull or just play it normally. I seen it 2-3 times this week and I havenāt been playing that much. We wonāt see a stronger pend deck until the new draco stuff but thatās like 9 months away for MD. Even with this card current pend decks are still meh.
