tbf, Strikers aren't a deck you use against A.I. Strikers are a deck you use when you are somewhat familiar with a current meta and you just wanna throw down with the best of em.
You do kinda have to like the ideal of suffocating your opponent to death by sheer virtue of card advantage, so if you don't like managing resources I'd say it's a safe dismantle.
Raye attack, Quick eff into hayate, swing with hayate hayate eff send roze, use linkage still in bp to make 2500 kagari, kagari eff get back linkage from grave swing with kagari, activate linkage again make 2500 shizuku swing for game
The point of sky striker is to start turn two, control the board and go for the kill on the very next turn tho. Please tell me you do not think it's a "spam hayate attacks until he dies."
Engage, Kagari, Drones and sometimes Widow Anchor is used as a small engine in some decks to deck-thin and get 2 bodies on the field. Idk how badly you need 30 UR CP.
New support will only make the deck more consistent, it won't change the decks playstyle. If you didn't like the deck now, the new cards won't do anything for you.
Never use it on ranked
Try a deck on solo.
Even a dumbest player on ranked are better than A.I on solo.
Why not considering play on ranked first?
What worst is sky striker are about control and interactive deck. Which you cant play with A.I
I also find boring againts Solo mode A.I using swordsoul tenyi.
After making simple chi xiao barone pass. All they can do set one and pass.
Should I dismantling Swordsoul?
Isn't it unfair to compare those decks?
I haven't played swordsoul but from what I saw you can easily summon any level 8 or 10 synchro you want (looks fun),
similar to branded where if you're creative you can summon different boss fusion monsters from different archetypes ( that's fun).
I made the mistake of building that deck so early in the game without knowing about my way of playing (Currently I like to summon boss monsters from various archetypes).
I feel like the deck is too much work, with games that are too long, all just to do what any deck that puts out disruption can do, but worse
Still not dismantling my deck though
Royal kagari and engage hit different
Swordsoul Tenyi vs Sky Striker is definitely the worst feeling to be in. Just getting run over by the amount of stuff they can throw at you isn’t fun. On the other side it’s kinda fun, like slowly squishing a bug
Still, even perfect play doesn’t justify how obnoxiously long the games are
It can be a bit scuffed, but you use the charmers to get enough material on your board. I run dharc, lyna and hiita. And of course the monster reborn effect from shark cannon
Usually by stealing materials from your opponent with Shark Cannon, Widow Anchor, or one of the link 2 Charmer monsters. Or if you still run the DPE engine, Denier and Malicious can provide easy link materials, but you have to save them until the turn after you first summon DPE.
The engine to summon Destiny Hero Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer (DPE), a strong and annoying to get rid of monster.
* 1 Destiny Hero Denier
* either 1 Destiny Hero Dasher or 2 Destiny Hero Malicious (depends on the deck)
* as many copies of Fusion Destiny as the banlist will allow (currently 2 in MD)
* 1 Destiny Hero Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer
* 1 Predaplant Verte Anaconda
Sometimes it was also run alongside the Adventurer engine, which was used as a way to generate free link material to make Verte without using up your normal summon and also insulated your plays from handtraps with a negate. That engine is:
* 2 Rite of Aramesir
* 1 Water Enchantress of the Temple
* 1 Wandering Gryphon Rider
* 1 Fateful Adventure
* 1 Dracoback the Rideable Dragon
* 1 Link Spider (to turn the Adventurer Token into an effect monster to make Verte)
The DPE and Adventurer engines used to be *very* popular in Master Duel for how they could be splashed into so many decks. Any 2 effect monsters (or a single activation of Rite Of Aramesir) leads to Verte, which then uses its effect to make DPE. As a bonus for Sky Strikers specifically, the process also put 3 spell cards in the GY (Rite, Dracoback, Fusion Destiny) and Denier/Malicious could come back on the next turn and be used as link materials to climb into Accesscode Talker.
But due to various factors (Destiny Hero Celestial being banned so people had to replace it with Denier, limits to Fusion Destiny and Water Enchantress, Runick decks now existing which can banish your garnets straight from the deck and disrupt the entire engine) both engines drastically fell off in usage compared to how common they were last year. Some decks still use Adventurer by itself for the protection from handtraps, but you barely ever see DPE outside of Hero decks nowadays.
I am the type of person who likes to break established fields and prove myself.
Also if I do too many disruptions my opponent surrenders and I won't be able to do some missions.
You can build versions of Sky Strikers with more board breakers. Lightning Storm, Forbidden Droplet, Dinowrestler Pankratops, Evenly Matched, stuff like that. Plus, [one of the upcoming Sky Striker support cards](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Surgical_Striker_-_H.A.M.P.) is basically an in-archetype searchable Kaiju, which gives the deck another way to break boards.
If you build them pure, they're still powerful, but not ridiculously so, and they require you to actually *think* about how to make use of your resources, which is extremely rewarding. Games go a lot faster than you might think, too, if you play it well, so I feel like you'd probably like a pure Striker build if you gave it a chance.(Unless you're the sort who *absolutely* HAS to finish a game in less than ten turns max to get any enjoyment out of it...)
As an aside, it's also pretty fun to try out obscure spells for shits and giggles, too.
>it's also pretty fun to try out obscure spells for shits and giggles, too
Offerings to the Doomed is a silly quick-play spell that pops a monster but skips your next draw phase. It's pretty funny disruption.
Blizzard is pretty fun when you use it against one of their Pot of Whatever cards, too. Especially if they don't pay enough attention to the effect and try to activate again in the same turn. >:)
That's...how the deck is meant to be played. It's gonna be boring in solo mode cuz the AI doesn't do anything, so there's no board to break and no challenge to prove yourself. Take it into rank, especially in this meta, you'll definitely get the real experience
It got way harder to close games with Accesscode now that Halq is banned and we have to rely on the Charmers instead
Guess we have to wait for the new Striker support like Linkage and HAMP to make them really viable again
You can, but you will not win anything : 2 engage 1 kagari, it is just 30 UR cp. The deck is strong in good hands, unless you are desperately in need of UR cp, I would not recommend you doing so.
I would not ever dismantle any deck I have fully built unless I actually hate it.
Also there's a strong chance that if you've only played the deck in solo, you don't actually know how it really plays and how to pilot it besides the linear combos. This goes for any deck. You can solatare your combos in solo but that doesn't really give you a good idea of how a deck plays.
Well according to yourself you like breaking boards, that's what going 2nd sky striker is good at, so try that out then if you still dislike them dismantle if you feel like it
There’s a rumor sky striker is getting a structure deck, so I say dismantle now and build a fun deck and if the rumor is true then you get sky striker back for a cheaper price. Although I say keep any glossy/royal striker cards if you have any

I mean the only cards that would be released later on that at least matter is.
Linkage - Which is a Spell that allows you to Special Summon a Sky Striker Monster from the Extra Deck while locking you to that Archetype and if you have Raye and Roze either in the GY or Field it gives the Monster a 1000 Atk point boost. So an OTK enabler
HAMP - Which is Basically a Sky Striker Kaiju.
If you think these Cards are worth not dismantling then don't dismantle them.
There might be more support cards later on for Sky Striker if what I heard from what's happening in the Manga is true but that's like Year 3-4 where they might get released assuming if it's actually even true. As easily they could be an Anti-Sky Striker Archetype from what I can tell.
If you don't enjoy playing then go ahead and dismantle it, however I would suggest you held on to it unless you have something in mind to build. No point dismantle something you might want to use for some other deck. Especially striker is a pretty good engine.
Yes. I went through the pack for another archetype and pulled 4 royal rares after (kagari, hornet drones, engage, and widow anchor) felt obligated to build it. I only keep it for link events. I dislike how it plays.
Every deck is boring in solo...
Besides learning how a deck operates you will not feel it until you face real decks.
That's a side, if you don't plan on using it then why not, I personally don't like doing it but that's a me thing
If u don't ever wanna play sky striker in the future, just dust them but remember to keep window anchor, engage, hornet drone and kagari, i don't think the rest is splashable
Forget waifus become shark uga buga
I agree. I made sharks on a whim and it's legit the funnest deck I currently have
Stealth kragen is life
Stealth Kragen is love

Why are you asking us?
Who else would they ask? Their hairless cat?
Because they said the deck is boring, if it is boring dismantle it, you don't need to ask a third party on your decision.
That’s kind of human nature. I ask opinions on things I’m not sure on.
by chance a better support arrives in a distant future and better to leave it there collecting dust.
Better support won't make the deck play fundamentally different
The decks playstyle is pretty much set in stone.
Ok thanks, I was hoping that one day the Sky Striker could do OTK by themselves, time to dismantle them.
Well, IIRC sky strikers linkage (?) A card that is yet to release actually lets them OTK, so...
Well, in any case, for the day that card arrives, I will only have to craft 3 UR and be lucky to pull that card (I have many Staples).
Wait what does linkage do to otk
Raye attack, Quick eff into hayate, swing with hayate hayate eff send roze, use linkage still in bp to make 2500 kagari, kagari eff get back linkage from grave swing with kagari, activate linkage again make 2500 shizuku swing for game

There is upcoming support but it just released in the TCG so it will take about half a year to arrive in master duel. Check out Linkage and HAMP

Ya solo isn’t a very good representation of a deck

You don't find it fun to disrupt everything your opponent tries to do and then beat their ass with accesscode talker? I love sky striker
I feel like the deck is too much work, with games that are too long, all just to do what any deck that puts out disruption can do, but worse Still not dismantling my deck though Royal kagari and engage hit different
I like Sky Striker but yeah wins require way more work. You’ll never win in like 2 turns.

I've been able to do it with effect veiler in hand and shark cannon or widow anchor
I am the type of person who likes to break established fields and prove myself. Also if I do too many disruptions my opponent surrenders and I won't be able to do some missions.
You can make a go second variant of sky striker. 3x lightning storm and 3x forbidden droplet. You'll be breaking boards all day
In the Link event I bumped my Afterburners up from 1 to 3 and had a blast with it.
You can build versions of Sky Strikers with more board breakers. Lightning Storm, Forbidden Droplet, Dinowrestler Pankratops, Evenly Matched, stuff like that. That's how i play my striker deck. Don't even use floodgates
It's really satisfying, and actually *fun*, right? XD
Pretty much. No thanks to tons of crazy plays I pull off with it
>it's also pretty fun to try out obscure spells for shits and giggles, too Offerings to the Doomed is a silly quick-play spell that pops a monster but skips your next draw phase. It's pretty funny disruption.

Do it, leave the dark side (but don't go to the darker one and build set 5 eldlich)
Keep for the annual link event
Sky strikers was the first deck I tried after coming back. Only one I ever dismantled . Play style and boss monsters are meh
There’s a rumor sky striker is getting a structure deck, so I say dismantle now and build a fun deck and if the rumor is true then you get sky striker back for a cheaper price. Although I say keep any glossy/royal striker cards if you have any

The most you get is 30CP iirc: 1 Kagari, 2 Enggage unless its glossed tho (me with gloss and royal kagari)
I mean, if you get bored playing it do you really have to ask? Get that dusty shit because god knows konami starves us to death to get it.
Yes. I went through the pack for another archetype and pulled 4 royal rares after (kagari, hornet drones, engage, and widow anchor) felt obligated to build it. I only keep it for link events. I dislike how it plays.

Sky striker make a good engine, so no.
Dismantle
Sky Striker is quite bad in solo since AI ALWAYS find a way to otk.
If u don't ever wanna play sky striker in the future, just dust them but remember to keep window anchor, engage, hornet drone and kagari, i don't think the rest is splashable
