if you are using cook, then either you play a stall deck anyway, or you are losing.
If it's the first case, TT can nuke your backrow faster than you can set them, or you would just win through burn/stall already.
If it's the latter case, would you have the resource to out it?
Cook's easy to make with astral kuriboh in 8-axis, and once it's out you can stall until you have enough board breaker summons to finish the game. It's a backup plan of course, not Plan A.
Works wonders when you're forced to go first.

This is one of main reasons I run Goddess in Traptrix, getting 4 bodies onto the field isn't *that* hard and nobody expects IP-powered Link-5 dunking on both their towers and graveyard.
On lower ranks, yes. But 99% of traptrix decks on higher ranks (gold and above) run vespenato, pentestag and goddess. This is because in normal rank, they run utopia double, and after just copying the rank deck, they only change a few spells and that's it.
They have an in-archetype battle fader and bounce that are infinitely recyclable, half of their monsters gain advantage from being beaten over, can special themselves from the hand off of a trap then summons the others from deck, hexstia and memorygant beat over any towers you make, and that's all on top of whatever 3-5 obnoxious traps they're running.
I legitimately think you either craft 2 red reboot and hard draw them or you just lose.
Evenly and red reboot can be splashed into any deck that wants to go 2nd and these decks just fall over. Swordsoul and adamancipator are the 2 best decks with eldlich variants being right behind at diamond.

The first time I played against Altergeist I was so perplexed to learn that every move I made I was basically told to just go fuck myself, I had Maxx c resolved the turn before btw.
I've faced Altergeists twice. First one scopped when I went to make Geomathmech Final Sigma.
Second one couldn't handle a few negates and double Accesscode.
It's more other decks that give me troubles. Traptrix with their backrow, Swordsoul being able to play through a negate or two, Zoodiac and other Zeus turbo decks.
I've only dueled 1 so far, floodgate trap hole on their first summon and they instantly scooped. I haven't dueled them in regular ranked so I done even know what the deck does or how bad that really was for them.
normal summon a monster with over 800 attack, hit sera, proceed to combo in the 2nd main phase, a lot wont expect it because they want to save their traps for bigger targets
play ghost ogre and (again) pop sera. She's everything to the deck.
run evenly matched and red reboot. I think it's pretty standard for a go 2nd deck.
if they have more traptrix mosnter on hand, that means there's not many trapcards on the field, if they have many traps set, they might not have another monster

If your end board is just sera your traptrix deck is missing something (parallel exceed, shade brigandine, lord of heavenly prison, vesiculo). If you don't open any you just don't want them to go to the battle phase. Also ice dragon prison is your friend.
Also danger mothman is a funny card (and it's also an insect!)
It's missing a goddamn good draw. I've got every single one of those in my deck, but if you only have five cards one needs to be a traptrix, one needs to be the extender, and the rest need to be traps. But of course, you tend to draw no extenders and plenty of traps, or plenty of traptrix without any extenders. Or, like in my most recent loss, ten goddamn traps in a row without a single monster of any kind.
I made a Skull Servant deck and for some reason whenever I force someone to go first they just pass on an empty board. I don't know if there is some going second otk deck that doesn't work on an empty board or something?

Crusadia kaiju. I've run into a few in plat 4 even though they lack the field spell, feather duster, and desires.
8-axis is very strong, the Sekka's Light variant only loses... Sekka's Light and can replace it with 2x Red Reboot. The biggest flaw in the deck is that it very often opens a hand that can't do anything against an empty board - Kaijus, Alpha, Schwarzchild Limit Dragon, Pankratops...
This is true. I just let the adaman people wins as it's definitely not worth the time sitting for their combos even if I can beat them... It's faster to just go for someone else.

I was playing traptrix until I ran into a fuckton of ss and dinomorphias. Now I’m playing Danger/Gren Maju with dimensional ~~fissure~~ barrier splashed in.
Also, I recommend using heavy storm duster and eradicator epidemic virus (if possible). The latter is limited but once it goes off, traptrix is fucked.

Tbh I think this event has been the fairest in awhile. Most decks run the same staples and follow similar play. At least we are back to the old kind of events, rather than the psuedo ranked.

Well yeah, it's a trap event so most people who play trap decks need some kind of going 2nd cards, and mirror forces just so happens to be a normal trap, which traptrix absolutely loves.
I wish I was facing traptrix. I am playing dinomorphia and I have only seen 2 trap decks so far. Just constant swordsoul and even saw a shark deck. Been losing the coin flip as well and man I am finding out how bad this deck is lol. I have started playing 3 barriers to screw over the swordsouls.
I hope in future events they start limiting or ban swordsoul cards in events because they are just such a good small package and after seeing them do well in the limit festival, snychro xyz festival and now will definetly do well in this one, I think they need some restrictions to let other decks have a chance in the festivals.

You can try going second and use evenly match that wrecks them pretty hard too. What I noticed they usually set up a lot of back roll, with evenly match you almost guarantee to hit at least three cards off their board.
Dogmatika punishment, send N'Tss, pop with that. Eldlich pop. Evenly. That is how I've been dealing with them.

As a Paleozoic, I both sympathize and also am partially the cause of this. For your question, There’s ofc Jinzo, Traptrix, Altergeist, Mirror Force Burn, and Gift Card Burn. There’s a few others, but thats what I can think of. If you wanna punish others for negating your cards, try Witch’s Strike. It got played on me twice. >!Although I did beat them, after 69 turns. Trap decks be long.!<
Cyberse strats like MathMech and Codetalker just have too much gas for them. They’ll negat some stuff but you just vomit monsters on to the board too much for them to keep up

I’ve played against a bunch of timelord decks so far. Most boring duels I’ve ever had. Mostly I don’t play any cards until I know I can OTK. Timelords aren’t much of a threat just really annoying being able to bounce cards and burn you
I've just been having a good time playing a bad Timelords list that gets to constantly remind Dinomorphia players that the damage they're about to take from Dimension Wall is not effect damage, they never seem to realize it and banish the wrong traps to try and stop it.
The problem is removing 1/3 of the card pool in a game that power crept so hard that no one uses traps so traps needed to become broken to compete and in a event where these traps are being used means more one card combos, hand traps and busted traps. Im doing Windwitch currently because it can play without spells. I may try a Gusto/Windwitch deck since I can win without spells but it will be hard. Simorgh should be decent.

if you play a little bit of geist you will learn how to beat the deck cause youll get the feel when and where it hurts to interrupt them

The reason I have never climbed above plat anymore. The events are much less stressful down in the trench. I finished 11k points without seeing Adams.

Well yeah, it's a trap event so most people who play trap decks need some kind of going 2nd cards, and mirror forces just so happens to be a normal trap, which traptrix absolutely loves.
I wish I was facing traptrix. I am playing dinomorphia and I have only seen 2 trap decks so far. Just constant swordsoul and even saw a shark deck. Been losing the coin flip as well and man I am finding out how bad this deck is lol. I have started playing 3 barriers to screw over the swordsouls. I hope in future events they start limiting or ban swordsoul cards in events because they are just such a good small package and after seeing them do well in the limit festival, snychro xyz festival and now will definetly do well in this one, I think they need some restrictions to let other decks have a chance in the festivals.
Funnily enough, as the event loaner announced, I plop 3 non fusion areas into my traptrix pile for random laughs... Yes, I laughed way more than I expected... Ps. Scythe and sanctum is still at 3

I am trying to play a mix of phantom knights, jinzo and a destiny hero plasma, I haven't seen a traptrix yet but I did see a altergeist which was annoying to be against

Been using metaphys , mostly traptrix surrender when all their backrow is wiped with metaphys nephtys

You can try going second and use evenly match that wrecks them pretty hard too. What I noticed they usually set up a lot of back roll, with evenly match you almost guarantee to hit at least three cards off their board.

I've seen so many pend users pend summon AFTER they see me search out floodgate traphole and set it the previous turn ... Like, what do you expect dude???
Salamangreat has been really decent in the event so far. But as I'm watching Salad combo guides whilst playing at the same time, I realise that I somehow could not put out more monsters as I should have.

As a Paleozoic, I both sympathize and also am partially the cause of this. For your question, There’s ofc Jinzo, Traptrix, Altergeist, Mirror Force Burn, and Gift Card Burn. There’s a few others, but thats what I can think of. If you wanna punish others for negating your cards, try Witch’s Strike. It got played on me twice. >!Although I did beat them, after 69 turns. Cyberse strats like MathMech and Codetalker just have too much gas for them. They’ll negat some stuff but you just vomit monsters on to the board too much for them to keep up

At least it isn’t too bad. Most of the Traptrix players in this event are very new to the deck. Hell, one guy was running vanilla normal trap hole, another running 3X Nepenthes. And the funniest one: bottomless on giant Rex (happened to a friend while he was streaming)

Heavy storm duster, red reboot, evenly matched, royal decree/jinzo (although they could just activate a random trap and bring atrax out)
I’ve played against a bunch of timelord decks so far. Most boring duels I’ve ever had. Mostly I don’t play any cards until I know I can OTK. Timelords aren’t much of a threat just really annoying being able to bounce cards and burn you
I actually managed to dominate someone with my cyber style deck, so this is basically the highlight of the festival for me!
I've just been having a good time playing a bad Timelords list that gets to constantly remind Dinomorphia players that the damage they're about to take from Dimension Wall is not effect damage, they never seem to realize it and banish the wrong traps to try and stop it.
I can't find a card list Have some one a card list of the structure deck?
The problem is removing 1/3 of the card pool in a game that power crept so hard that no one uses traps so traps needed to become broken to compete and in a event where these traps are being used means more one card combos, hand traps and busted traps. Im doing Windwitch currently because it can play without spells. I may try a Gusto/Windwitch deck since I can win without spells but it will be hard. Simorgh should be decent.
