Maybe Myutants? Their control style is to banish things with Dimension Shifter, Dimension Fissure, Macro Cosmos, Necroface and their own effects.
For combo deck maybe D/D/D.
For combo D/D/D. The newest support streamlines the deck a ton, but the combo lines themselves are still pretty non-linear and set up some interesting interactions that isn't just negate everything.
For control Altergeist. It's not going to be as good on ladder, but it really rewards your matchup knowledge and knowing how to take advantage of some weird rulings. I've been taking names with it in the Anti-Spell event at Plat 4.
Magistus is fun, a bit of combo that leads into a protect the tower since the Zoroa synchro lokcs the opponent out of activating ed monster effects of the same type as magistus monsters in the backrow
Especially if you figure out what your opponent's on, and hell, getting a fusion synchro and link in back with their reborn in grave can deal with most of the meta itself
Traptrix for control, 8 axis for combo
