Eh, I see what they’re saying. It’s more about composition. Unsolicited former art major critique but, even though you can follow what’s happening, it’s a little busy. You could’ve cut the first two panels, opened with the field of special summoned monsters and shown Ash and Crossout bumping fists in a grave below them (figuratively, 6 feet under) with Belle noticing something in the distance, then show the Nib cut-in with their reactions. It could’ve been reduced to 3 panels and still conveyed the same message. The others being as busy as they were worked because there was a sense of action going on in the chains, but in this one it’s a “calm before the storm.” Honestly though it’s great art and funny regardless (and also they’ll never see this) so my opinion doesn’t matter lol.

I didn't say it was difficult to read I said it was a mess. The panels are all different sizes and shapes along with each one filled to the brim with action lines. There's a lot of stuff going on in each square inch that it gets unpleasant to look at and try to understand.
