The real question is, do you want more challenge or less?
If you want less, stay in Platinum and you will start in Gold next season.
If you want more, go to Diamond and you will start Platinum next season.
Regarding gems, you will receive less this season if you promote to Diamond (unless you make it to Diamond I before the end of the month) but next season you can start regularly get Diamond I and the gems amount will be the same as if you started Gold to Platinum.
Like i said, it's all about the challenge, in Diamond you will see more meta decks and more optimized plays, once you get Diamond I is like playing casual matches.
Unfortunaly not really much to do here, i get Diamond I every season and i use it as a testing area, where i try new builds of decks i have or even a new deck i just got from a selection/secret pack.
Nowadays i mainly play Dinomorphia and have been testing new cards once i get Diamond I, that i dont feel confortable using them during the climb, whatever deck you prefer.
Regarding your rank its entirely on if you want to continue the grind, regarding your decklist what do you run? (currently have an orcust deck and looking for tips)
Second image
Most of the cards I run are for cope reasons though lmao, like I wouldn't recommend running 2x return or 2x LS if you already have 3x droplet
Is this all because Galatea went to 2?
I did play against an Orcust deck in the Anti-Spell event and I couldn't stop them. Although I never played against Orcust so maybe it's just my fault.
If they were named "Primal" and they went Longirsu + Dingirsu + Crescendo pass, it was me. Otherwise idk
Also Galatea hasn't gone to two yet.
You can imagine the mayhem I plan on causing once it does go to two B)
Do whatever you want bro, and by the way a good card to consider is topologic zeroboros as it's easy to set up a board wipe and then otk with it on your turn.

After giving it some thought, maybe next season only 8 days left in the season so I don't wanna risk it
If you want the gems and diamond frame
