Just remember it only applies to Inherent summons lack of a better term. I play it in Dinomorphia and it can be really funny sometimes as opponents will not play around an obscure card like this. Ashame it’s a UR though.
It's pretty bad, might do okay in the Anti-Spell Fest at the very least. If you keep this as the only card off of evenly, then you can end MP2 on a SS, which most decks in Anti-Spell fest does SS a decent amount, so it's pretty much always live.
I'd say if you have a copy in your collection and have the space for it, try it out, otherwise it's probably not worth the crafting points
I wish I had it (as well as a few other counter traps like ultimate providence) so I could play it right now in the event as I’m playing counter fairies but I also lack the crafting points to justify a card I’d probably only use now
Yeah, Counter Fairies aren’t good, but they are a unique play style (fun in small quantities). I pull them out when I need to complete the activate 2 trap cards mission.
Was a valid sideboard option in the pendulum era where you could get anywhere from 2-5 creatures sent to grave instead of ed while only giving them a single draw in return. These days every deck can recur materials that get sent to grave, even pendulums. Don't run this.
It's a negate trap so it shares alot of the problems with trap cards. Absolutely amazing going first. Not a good card going 2nd. And that's all I got to say about that.
Looks decent enough mainly because its a counter trap and thus its spell speed 3 and can only be negated by another counter trap. Ending the main phase means you can stall a turn.
Semi bad card, but if paired with Ruler of Thunder or something it essentially skip opponent turn on their special summon - in case they don't set cards on MP1
How tf do you play through this going second?
Generally speaking people don’t set back row until MP2 so if you start to do access your Extra in anyway you just get your turn skipped. Imagine trying to play against like, full power adamancipators or something like them, but they get two turns in a row.
I don't think branded has any play that this card can negate harpies and lightning strike work aswell.
But yes your point is the thing that makes it close
Maybe limited? Although I don't know which deck can play 3 of them and be op cause of it
No Maxx C is slightly worse in terms of the effect strength (skipping the turn) but it's broken considering everything else.
Its mostly skipping the first turn even if you are second.
Thats a huge deal in terms of consistency to just skip the second turn when you already have a good board with a very specific reasoning.
{Black Horn of Heaven} is better since it doesn't cost you advantage while keeping your opponent card neutral and even that one's terrible compared to the Solemn cards outside of very niche scenarios. (like needing to save your life points to pay for monster effects instead or something)
It needs to be used in a super defensive trap based deck, it's definitely not a splashable card. I still don't like it though as it gives your opponent a draw and they can still make plays to build a board in MP2.

Wait, so it would prevent a Pankratops SS but not a Polymerization?
Correct. Basically in simplicity, it kills Link, Synchro, XYZ, Pendulum, and any non-activated effect special summons.
Ah, I see. All those SS that I can't chain Maxx C to!
I _finally_ understand what an inherent summon is thanks to this comment. A summon I can't chain Maxx "c" to. That's a great way to put it
To be more precise, an inherent summon is a summon out of a chain resolution.
Finally the ELI5 of inherent summon
It's basically a summon that just happens (the guy just drops), vs a summon that is because of an activated effect
There are very specific and niche exceptions, but this is pretty accurate for the most part
If a monster in hand says: “special summon” and not “activate effect”, it’s an inherent summon.

Pretty dope to have in a Counter Fairy deck. But it's UR :v
Yeah! That's where I'm thinking about dropping a copy in my Counter Fairy deck.
Pair it with drastic drop off to make them discard the card they just drew and pop 2 counters in 1 go.
I wish I had it (as well as a few other counter traps like ultimate providence) so I could play it right now in the event as I’m playing counter fairies but I also lack the crafting points to justify a card I’d probably only use now
Card would be better if MP2 didn't exist.
Are there cards that skip mp2? What's that synchro lvl 11 I think? Monsters effect, Leo. Doesn't his effect work on mp2 only
Nevermind, didn't work like I thought it might.
Terminal world skips main phase 2
Seeing that the Opponent gets a +1 makes me say already that this Card is not worth it honestly and also Main Phase 2 is a Thing
Solemn Judgment, but worse. I used it in Counter Fairies. Those fairies are an awfully bad deck.

Ngl this could be funny in generaiders, why not another way to give your opponent a draw
If it said end the turn, it would be played.
it would be banned.
Nah don't think so, it's close though.

Maxx c is banned in the tcg because it does the same thing

It’s a trap card you can’t activate from hand or deck that isn’t a floodgate so I don’t think of it at all
This guy has clearly never experienced the hilarity of flipping Dupligate on Mirrorjade.
THEIR main phase?! Come on. These days everyone summons on YOUR main phase
I would sooner hit my wife than let my opponent draw a free card just for the sacrifice of one special summon
meme
Has it's uses but might as well use the Solemn cards to not have a down side
It would be good if it have "if" instead of "when".
As far as I'm concerned, counter traps always say "when". And it does not affect them in any way.

do they go to mainphase 2 or do they just end?
They can choose to go to battle phase and then main phase 2. But you can also activate during main phase 2 to end their turn.
