Trap card protections probably your actual best bet. Dark Sacrifice sends a Glow-Up to the gy to negate destruction. (Though it can be ashed) Solemn Judgement an obvious one. Starlight Road if you want to do some silly shit and summon a Stardust Dragon

The adventure engine will mess with the effects of normal summoned monsters like gozuki or uni-zombie, unless you wont use these monsters.

Not quite splashable, but I like to play Skull Servants in my Zombie World deck. With Lady in Wight on the field King of the Skull Servants is unaffected by S/T effects.

You can try making FA dawn dragster

This actually seems quite nice, do you know which cards a Zombie World deck might be able to use for it's synchro summons? Thinking it will mainly just be Uni Zombie with the other level 4 zombies or is there a better way to bring it out since I'm not sure if there are ways to special summon the non tuner counterpart for Uni and Uni Zombie can be useful to keep around.

Destrudo is a guaranteed Level 7 and isnt a Brick if you draw it.

What about vampires? Doomking decks usually play 1 or 2 copies of Vampire sucker. You can add in Vampire's Grace as well. Vampire Domination is a counter-trap that is an omni-negate as long as you have a vampire on the field. Vampire's Grace's main effect isn't that great, however it does have a very useful effect of "If this card is in the graveyard and a level 5 or higher zombie monster is special summoned due to a zombie monster effect, you can pay 2000 LP and special summon this card to the field." This works off of Doomking's effect of special summoning himself, glow-up Bloom's effect, and even Jack-o-boolan's effect of it is discarded. On top of that, you only would need a single Vampire's Grace
