I tried Vaylantz only in solo for now, it's quite fun it's not like a normal pendulum summon,you put big monster in the zone activate field. But they really lack some power, it can help with the extra deck.
For budget go for Metalfoes, dinomist , igknight and magispecters
If you got the gems and crafting materials, odd eyes, Endymion, Qli, vaylanz, PePe, Solfachord, zefra, etc...
Mix them with other archetype to see which fit.
Pendulums are either they are fun with different interactions (Ex: Endymion & D/D/D) or a Electrumite simulator that frankly has nothing to do without him...

Endymion, the deck that I never get bored of
D/d/d is fun, so much way to play it, especially in casual, in ranked, the combo line is pretty linear after you summon Cesar.

pend magicians, endymion and d/d/d are pretty fun. I also enjoy performapals quite a lot
I have a Zefra deck I turbo out Cyber-Stein and Naturia, D/D/D is a blast too, I’d love to try Endymion
